Send the Best is in the process of creating a Healthy Skaters Cookbook to raise funds to help grow the sport of inline skating. I'm sure a lot of you have photos from the Eastern Seaboard Series and other races as well as 'just for fun' skating. Please share some with us :)

Following are the details for submitting photos:

Photo(s) must be received by March 15th.

Photography Specifications

• Digital photos are preferred. They should be 300 dpi and 900 h x 1500 w pixels is the minimum. The larger the photo size, the better.

• File formats accepted are .jpg or .tif only. Do not place or insert the photos into any other program. We are looking for the original photo.

• A camera that is at least 3 mega-pixels will take photos with the proper resolution and size.

• Make sure your camera is on its highest quality setting when taking the photos. Most digital cameras have various settings. The higher the setting, the fewer the photos you can take because their file sizes are larger. (Larger files take up more memory therefore fewer photos can be taken and stored on the camera.)

• Action photos, head shots or candid photos of the skaters and/or coaches are all acceptable.

• Photos downloaded from the internet will not be acceptable resolution/quality for print and will not be accepted.

• We will accept hard copies of photos but digital photos are preferred. Hard copies or DVD’s can be mailed to:

• Hard copies of photos will not be returned.

 Specify how you want the photo credited. (i.e. Photo courtesy of John Smith.)

• If your photo(s) is selected for inclusion in the final product, you will be asked to sign and submit a “release” which gives STB the right to copy and publish the photo(s).
