Sorry

In this one lifetime
I truly wish to know
who will be there down the road
and who will fail to show
I believe that wish has become
this reality that I know
I'm truly thankful for my friends
of which I count you one

I know you've heard this countless times
and I know you hate this word,
but I cannot enough stress
how many times I could use this phrase:
I'm Sorry.
Sorry for all you've been through
Sorry for being a bad friend
I love you more than you could know
And I promise to still be there at the end.

My Only Love

Mother,
My love for you has flourished,
Into something more,
Than pecks on the cheek,
And hugs to and fro.

Since that fateful day,
When you tried to take your life away,
I've stood by,
Watching you.

I feel like I'm walking on eggshells,
Everytime I see you,
You frighten me,
But I still need you.

Every night I cry,
Mourning what could have been such a great loss,
I want to let you know,
I love you.

Always

The wind gently ruffles his hair,
Last bits of frost swirling in air.
Winter is emerging nevermore,
Oceans water splashes to shore.

Bright brown eyes look to the sky to find a dove,
Reminding him of his first and last love.
A great idea blooms in his mind,
He jumps to his feet not to waste any time.

Now he kneels down by her bedside,
To find nothing except that she has died.
A salty tear rolls down from his eye,
He picks up a single rose lying near by.

He remembers how she said ‘ I do’,
Then whispers quietly “I’ll always love you.”

Family

Whenever I'm afraid,
you guide my way,
Whenever I'm upset,
you dry my tears away.
Sometime you so uptight,
but you do it for the best.
when your afraid,
We'll stick together
When life go through a bumpy road,
we'll be in it together
For better or for Worst,
We're a family,
to the end of the world.

'Till Last I Can

Lost in a bitter world,
All black, dreary, and cold,
Stumbling along an unbeaten path,
Fighting hard to find my way.

Cover my ears to block the voices.
Shut my eyes and still make bad choices,
Ever falling to the ground,
I'm ever crawling on bruiséd knees around.

Cuts and scratches never fading,
Huddled in a far corner of non believing.
Blind and unworthy of any care,
Insolently ignoring that life was there.

Almost lost and nearly drowning,
You caught me on the edge and kept me from falling,
Reached out your hand and guided me through,
What would have happend if there was not you?

You're gone now, out of my grasp,
Though every day I see you, you're part of my past,
Indifferent aquaintences passing in the hall,
You don't remember when you were my all.

No bitter thoughts against you do I hold,
And no more salty tears will my eyes unfold,
I would have been lost but for your hand,
And I will ever love you, 'till last I can.

Like you

There is a place, I do call home
deep within me, teasured to last
A place where I know who I am
a place that i don't share
Of that I am never fully aware

But you knew it by heart
Everything I have inside
Everything I want to be
and how odius I am
You knew it from the start

I smile when you enter my life
You can make me happy
you can make me smile - always.
Thank you for making me last
to try and become a bit like you...

Heart of Love

Born with nothing
You are placed in the tender arms of mother,
She cradles you gently in her arms
Not because you have charms
Nor because you are beautiful;
She simply loves you for who you are.

Growing up with everything,
You feel secure and carefree
Because you are loved by mom and dad;
Mom takes you to games,
Dad watches while you climb a tree.
Not because you are athletic,
Nor because you have great dangling skills;
They simply love you for who you are.

Raising a family with not everything,
You feel a part of something wonderful,
Because you are able to love them;
You take your kids to a game,
You watch them climb a tree.
Not because you think they are gifted
Nor because they are artistic.
You simply love them for they are.

Love doesn’t want everything,
It just wants to be a part of the world,
Because people can’t live without it,
Love was with you when you were born,
It was there as you grew up,
It was passed on to your children,
And love will even be there when you leave
For the place beyond.
Love takes you for who you are.

"Untitled"

I am alone.
Unloved.
I lie awake at night.
Dreaming of him.
But he is not for me.
He is taken.
Taken by her.
She will be alone one day.
She will just wait and see.

I watch him, always.
He doesn’t notice me there.
I am alone.
Unloved.
He doesn’t care.

But one day is different.
I awake to the sun.
I walk around, alone.
But I realise something- He isn’t the one.

The one has always been there.
Silent, but caring.
He loves me.
I did not realise.
Now life is happy.
I know that he cares.
But what if one day I wake up.
And he is not there?
