Dearest Members,

We are glad to announce that the time for contests has finally come.
We apologize if it took us a little bit longer than usual, but the main reason why will be disclosed to all of you within a couple of lines.

We have decided to inaugurate a new deal, introducing a new way to join in our challenges, and we really hope this is something all of you will find appealing.

But enough of my words and more of important information.

SHORT STORIES CHALLENGE:

So spoke Radiohead, the last winner of the Short Stories Contest:

Topic: A Dark Fantasy Fiction, Vampires, Witches, Wizards, Werewolves, Slayers, anything dark, mysterious and cool.

Word limit: 2000 words.

The ficlet has to include one or more of our beloved Lads, must present a rating and a disclaimer.


POETRY CHALLENGE:

So spoke Kawaii, the last winner of the Poetry Contest:

Theme: Family/loved ones/friends

Rhyme: Not needed.

Simply write something about your family, or just anyone who you love.
Lost someone who was close to you recently? Or just share those special feelings for those who are the closes to your heart.


Differently from the previous competitions, the submissions must be done via PM, as follows :

Short stories must be sent to Bloomiecurse.

Poems must be sent to Laila.

Laila and Bloomiecurse will post the entries in the respective threads (that will be created ad hoc) anonymously, in order to allow all members to read the submissions and judge them without any external influence.

This will grant that the story, style and plot, and only that, is the only reason to vote and also enable moderators and those writers who have felt as being esteemed mostly by their reputation to have a real challenge.


DEADLINE FOR BOTH CONTESTS: Entries must be submitted to the aforementioned Moderators by March 21rst.

Polls will be up in their respective threads (POETRY for the Poetry Contest and SHORT STORIES and DRABBLES for the Ficlets Competition) from March 22nd to March 29th.

Winners will be announced by the end of March and will be gifted with a banner and be able to choose the topic for the following challenges.
