Oooh! Great thread idea! I've got one...I've been a fan of them since I was about 14 y/o (I'm almost 25 now,) and just broke out their CD again the other day for the first time in years.

Band: Republica
Nationality: British
Type of Music: I would prolly classify it as techno, but not like most techno. Think more like Lords of Acid, but not quite THAT hard.
CD you've gotta hear: "Republica" (yeah, it's self titled)

And one my husband turned my on to:

Band: The Parasites
Nationality: American
Type of Music: Pop-like punk (alot like Blink and Simple Plan)
CD you've gotta hear: "Punchline" (Not sure how easy it would be to find, but...yeah.)

Chapstick - February 25, 2004 01:57 AM (GMT)
Band: Less Than Jake
Nationality: American
Type of Music: ska (very fastly driven punky rock)
CD you've gotta hear: well, all of them! But Anthem is their newest one.

Artist: Within Temptation
