Well I suppose that I don't have to introduce myself to most people here but for those who would like to know more (your sure you want that ;-) ) I will give a short introduction to the (insane) side off me.

My name is Dana but people also know and call me: Daan,Danny, Dani, P.D., or the Shrink. And yup I am the board-counsellor (just given myself that title :laugh: ) All your secrets are save with me, mwuahahahahaha
(hits her insane side). I am 24 years old and come from the netherlands. I study literature at the university off Amsterdam and about a year ago I discovered the ewfn. Since then I have been a complete compie-addict.

I am a huge fan off Lotr (like duh, aren't we all) and especially mr. Blue eyes :drool: Who I have to adore for the rest off my life from a big distance :cry2:

I am incredibly insane but not dangerous ehehehe (polishes fangs). Sarcasm is the weapon I mostly use but besides that I am fairly quiet and nice. I love my friends and will do anything to protect them. My escape from this nutty world is writing, painting and the internet!

Yess Amsterdam is great (I live nearbye not in it, thank goodness. It is a madhouse there ;)2 ) It would be absultly cool to meet....be sure to inform me around that time.....I will show you Amsterdam!!

It's pretty big city (hehe it is the capitol off course) but for a capitol city not really humongous. It has 800.000 inhabitants and you can go/come everywhere using the trams (must look out for them though.....drive like madman those guys on it :laugh: ) Nice thinks to do....hmm....visiting the leidseplein......mainly cafes (Amsterdam has 1500 cafes :eek: ) and street artists, incredibly bubbling/ sparkling place. The dam and the palace on it, the monument for the second world war is there to. You can see many people pass by (read weird people :lalala: so you could see me there to, hehehe) You can have your picture taking there with death beside you :laugh: :yes: :yay:
Shopping is recommended at the Kalverstraat....oh dear many many shops.......expensive and cheap are mingled. The new church....our queen and our soon to be king used it for their marriages. Off course Madame Tussaud, fabulous to see all those artists up close. The muntplein....money has been produced there for many centuries. Take a trip over the grachten....beautiful and very old. And go see the Albert Kuyp Market.....the biggest second hand market there is. It is an experience you will never forget......
Don't search for coffeeshops....they are everywhere :lalala: and stay away from the red light district. It is a dangerous place and very depressing....hum sound like a walking tourguide :blush:

I don't do photography.....untechnical person as I am (wrecked my camera) but I love painting....very good emotional outlet indeed!
