ELIPTICAL MOON

Silver lining is no use to me now that you're gone,
Each day is an eternity of which I no longer belong,
Dreams explode inside my head,
It's hard to accept the fact that you're dead.

I still hold on to you,
And even though you're not with me,
I can't seem to let you go,
And when I look up at night,
I spell your name out in the stars,
I will never forget you.

Crying comes so easily now that you're not here,
Never showed me fear before,
Dying seems like my only chance to live,
Never let my pain escape before,
But since you've been gone,
I do.

I can't see you,
And it hurts me inside till I'm out of my mind,
I can't hear you,
Now I'm bleeding within help me get through the night.

You're my elptical moon,
And you shine through,
Inside my wounds,
My open casket glides.

Oh my god.

I am totally and utterly at a lack for words. That would have to be one of my favourite poems EVER. In the entire UNIVERSE. I love that more than any amount of words could express in a lifetime.

It - is - beautiful.

I actually have tears in my eyes as I type this. Very few poems have had that affect on me. Yours is one of those few. I am going to cherish that poem until the day I die.
