I thought it was amusing that Orlando was among a list of gorgeous actors of our time for James Bond though I have a feeling it's just mere name-dropping instead of him really being up for the role.

Laila mentioned that imagining Orlando drinking a martini and saying "My name is Bond; James Bond." is sooooooooooo wrong.

when I hear 'bond. james bond' the first thing that comes to my mind is a very hairy chest (huge chest, loads of hair)
I'm not a big fan of the gerne, and it is the only scene of a bondmovie I remember (there was a girl somewhere, in bikini, and it was on some sort of boat)

Orlando Bloom has many talents, but growing loads of chesthair on short notice isn't among them (luckily, monkey-orlando brrrrrr-shivers with disgust-)

what I wanted to say, I have some difficulty imagining him as some easygoing, sweettalking ladykiller who occasionally fights crime (maybe as austin powers :lmao: )

Actually I disagree, when I first heard (a while ago, actually) that Pierce wouldn't be doing Bond any more, my first thought was that Mr. Bloom would be very cool as the new Mr. Bond. Alot better than stinky Roger Moore was, anywho... **mutter grumble** AAAAAANYWAY!!!

But maybe because Orlando Bloom plus tux plus sex scenes plus car chases sounds kinda cool... Heeheehee. But maybe that's just me :noangel:

Actually Orlando's name wasn't on the newer list I saw (I think). There's Jude Law though, and I forgot who else.
