Title: Meeting him..

Nobody - February 8, 2004 07:52 PM (GMT)
It's been done before, but I'm curious.

What would ya'll do if you met him?

Reannon - February 8, 2004 08:38 PM (GMT)
 Try not to scream...

Act mature and interested in his career...not zone out and just stare mindlessly at him

Of course, in reality I'd probably have a little bit of a fit and not be my usually pretty composed self ;-)

justbishop - February 9, 2004 01:48 AM (GMT)
Ask if I could dance for him *wink, wink; nudge, nudge*

I have permission from my hubby, too! Dom's on my "list!"

Ms. Mortensen - February 22, 2004 07:49 PM (GMT)
:woot: I'd try not to scream... I'll tell him that I got lost and if he could help me find my parents... ;-)

But im real life... i dunno i've never thought about it...

WhiteAndie - February 22, 2004 09:17 PM (GMT)
I think that knowing me ... i'd not recognize him until my sister (if she is with me) slap me and make me remember..

to that point Dom'd think that i'm crazy

lol

luvly
andie

MorriganAngelus - February 23, 2004 02:17 AM (GMT)
Like Andie, I'll probably have to be whacked in the head and told that he's there. After that I'll be too chicken to say or do anything besides stand and stare at him like a complete idiot. Hopefully I won't drool. ^_^

Erin_82 - February 29, 2004 03:30 AM (GMT)
If I ever met him I would just stare. And when he looks at me I would turn away and act like I wasn't staring lol. And if I weren't such a wuss or shy I would run up and poke his nose. It looks so squshy! Just so boopable. You know?

Luv,
Erin

Lessy - February 29, 2004 03:52 AM (GMT)
If I every meet him....I'd make sure I'd have a friend there with me so she can slap me! I think that I would have a huge breakdown........I'd smile a lot and I wouldn't be able to speak...:lmao:

LOL
I'd probably make an ass out of myself, laughing all nervously... But I think I would approach him and "talk" to him... And probably forget to ask for a pic (if I have a camera w/me) or an autograph or something...
(talk, in this case, meaning babbling stupid things in between nervous laughing)

trufaith - February 29, 2004 07:08 AM (GMT)
Well I just screamed when I meet him. That was cause everyone eles was screaming and I was trying to yell over them. Didn't work. But the guys escorting him up the red carpet pretty much pointed in my direction. LOL i'm kinda pathetic lol
He came up to us and signed autographs and i said "I love you" i'm not sure wether he heard me or not. But i did wish that I had of meet him like on the street and actual talked to him and not at the actual premiere it would of been better, then I could have had a chance to say something embarsing. LOL

I guess I'd just stare at him since I'm the most shy person alive... I think I'd blush and runaway if he looks at meh LOL!!!

dani_moonstar - March 1, 2004 04:33 PM (GMT)
probably would giggle my way throuhg the whole experience thus making a fool out of myself

lovingtheblueeyedangel - April 17, 2004 07:29 PM (GMT)
i'd probably scream, freak out, scream, freak out, laugh, laughing/crying,try to go up to him,autograph,photo,hug/kiss on sweet lil dommie's cheek (tehe...or?lol...),smile,giggle,faint?lol. and major blush!

Shadow of Darkness - April 20, 2004 07:41 AM (GMT)
Me? I would most likely be completely calm and carry on a normal conversation with him, ask for an autograph and a picture with him or something...But when I get away from him...I would never stop freaking out! I can pretty much guarantee that's how I would be, lol.

Kaylee Ann - June 20, 2004 03:19 AM (GMT)
Hmmm... Knowing me, if he was somewhere around me I wouldn't believe it was him--I would never believe that my luck could ever be that good to me. Lol. As other girls here said, I'd need someone to smack me before I realized it was actually him.

Then I'd probably stare for a few moments, blinking periodically before walking up to him. I would talk to him, but my voice would most likely be all shaky and I'd laugh like a fool. Ah. No matter how smooth I want to act, I'll be all shaky and nervous. :lmao:

Love,
Kay

I'd try to make it seem like meeting him wasn't such a big deal.

Like, if I saw him from a distance, try make eye contact and calmly walk over. Then say 'oh hi' like I didn't notice him or was an old friend so as to create the illusion that I'm not going to freak out just because he's famous. Then shake his hand and introduce myself...tell him that he was really fantastic in LOTR and quickly change the subject to England or something. Then before we parted ways get a picture with him. But if he was busy or something, I wouldn't try to start a conversation. Then I would just meet him, mention being a fan, get a picture, and be on my giddy little way.

However, I couldn't be completely cool because I giggle and joke around a lot when I'm nervous (which I would be). So it's not like my fake indifference would fool him much unless he's gullible.

I wish would be brave enough to ask for a kiss on the cheek but I know I'm probably not. Besides, he belongs to Ayngil.

Schmooie730 - July 30, 2004 04:15 AM (GMT)
Wow....if I met Dom (hehe....I put 'net' Dom instead)......

Well as I proved today, I can give a speech in front of my class without having written or researched it pretty much at all and still do a decent job of it. But knowing me, in front of him I'd be a bumbling mess blushing like crazy and not able to talk.

But I like to think I'd be cool and calm. I'd probably ask for an autograph if he wasn't busy and apologize profusely for invading his time. Then when I left, I'd get all fangirly and SQUEE-y.

*~steph~*

Easy question! Jump all over him and give him kisses!

No not really! I think if i sw him i wud be calm and hatch a plan with my friend to follow him around, casually, of course, and then accidently bump into him when he least expects it. Then be all 'dont i know u from somewhere' and act aloof!

LOL! Hopefully...one day....

Ithil'Quessir - July 17, 2006 05:52 PM (GMT)
Run away and hope he isn't too offended.

He is like a god to me, there's no way I'm going to meet him in real life! What if he isn't as great as I always imagined him to be? He is the man who inspired me to improve my life and everything in it, the man who inspires me with every single thing I do, the man who made me see so much... I can't throw all that away just to meet him once...

Like he ran away from Paul McCartney (from the Beatles), because Paul is the closest thing Dom has to a god (the god himself off course being John Lennon to him) and he didn't want to meet him for the same reason...
