Hello my dear fellow EWAC'ers! This is my first post in this section, written for my dear and bestest friend Emy (or better known as Aurora).
She gave me 5 words that i had to use in this story:
Crystal
Lilac
Frailty
Unlit
Melancholy
I even underlined them, so you can see that i haven't cheated! this will be my last story before turning 20! and i'm turning that in exactly this minute!! And err.. sorry for the cliche Title! :lalala:
Emy, I *PEEP* LOVE YOU!!!!!

Coming Home
Finally, the last couple of words of her essay were typed down and she could hardly believe it. All day long Emy had been working on some stupid assignment, which one of her boring professors had given to the students only two days before the final deadline! It was unfair, yet whatever the students said, the professor wouldn’t budge and so they couldn’t do anything about it.
There she sat in the practically empty computer area of her University, eight hours straight with only a couple of breaks every so often, when at long last she stretched her arms and held her freshly printed paperwork in her hands.
Satisfied, she neatly placed the now big file into her back bag and put on her warm, thick winter jacket. Going back home usually wasn’t as dreadful as then, but the pouring rain simply nurtured the melancholy of the tired girl.
Running down the empty streets towards the bus station, Emy couldn’t help but laugh in delight when the pools of water she stepped on splashed around her feet, taking her back to some sweet and happy memories of her childhood. Life felt good and it only seemed to get better when suddenly he came into her world. Never in her life had she thought that he would ever be hers, let alone be waiting for her in her tiny and cosy apartment her parents had rented for her. Her laughs turned into squeals when she started running faster, impatient to be back in his arms again.
An eternity later, she stepped into the warm surroundings of her house when she surprisingly noticed a great bouquet of beautiful flowers on the dining table and a white envelope lying next to it in her dimly lit apartment. Curious, she took the few steps towards the table and held the envelope lightly in her hands, shaking slightly at what her boyfriend might have in mind this time. Opening the envelope slowly, her eyes fell upon his fluent handwriting.
“Follow the lilac leaves…x”
Feeling her stomach do flip-flops, she felt like a schoolgirl yet again, something he always managed to do to her and something she extremely adored.
She put the envelope down and looked around her, only to find a flower path leading towards her bedroom. Unconsciously, her thumb found its way between her teeth, giving her excited body an easing effect as she bit effortlessly on the neatly polished nail.
Entering her unlit bedroom, she noticed that flickering candles opposite each other had replaced the leaves, creating a dreamlike passageway towards another white envelope on the big, fluffy duvet on her bed.
What her overwhelmed heart was experiencing was indescribable, instinctively provoking a thrill to run up her spine. That man, that man always knew how to make her knees go weak even after 1.5 year of unconditional love. Neither of them had experienced that before, the feeling of being blessed with a so-called “other half”. But now they both had and they were going to take full advantage of it during their precious time together, for it was scarce.
Tugging the short note out from its cover, Emy read again the few words her lover had written so neatly for her.
“Take off your clothes, sweetie. I’m waiting for you in the bathroom… xx”
Her heart skipped a beat, again with excitement and curiosity of what he had in mind for their night. With shaky fingers, she took of her wet clothes, her body already glowing with need and affection for the man sitting in the room opposite her with only a door in between.
Not wasting any more time, she opened the door and while expecting to find Orlando, she instead found the room lit with what seemed to be a hundred candles. Her bathtub was filled, lilac leaves scattered upon the snowy foam that covered the marble tub. Her mouth dropped open and before the surprise could settle into her mind, she felt two warm arms slipping around her waste and hold her tightly towards his body.
“About time,” he whispered huskily, his nose nuzzling inside the crook of her neck and cherishing her sweet scent that he was going to miss in a couple of days. “I missed you.”
“Oh… I… I’m sorry,” she stuttered, still besieged with the feelings that were going through her body.
“Shhh, don’t apologise. Just… enjoy.”
Turning her around, he handed her a crystal glass of champagne and as he stared into her warm and loving eyes, their glasses clinked before each of them took a small sip from the expensive drink. Flirtatiously, her eyes slid down towards the rest of her body, mesmerizing the angel standing before him. His angel.
He slowly guided them towards the awaiting bathtub, sinking both their bodies into the inviting warm water. Leaning himself back against the marble, he pulled Emy’s body closer against his, gently settling her between his legs as his hands took a hold of hers under the water.
Emy visibly relaxed as she felt his skin of their entwined fingers brush against her abdomen, unconsciously wiping away any frailty she must have felt due to the hard day at University. Her head rested on his shoulder, giving her the opportunity to look up at his angelic face and admire his handsome features. Dark lashes lying on his soft cheeks as he closed his eyes, supple lips curling into a peaceful smile, curls of brown hair falling onto his olive skin; never had she seen a more beautiful sight in her life before.
Releasing one of her hands, she lifted it up and gently reached for his cheek, silently asking him to look into her eyes. And when he did, when brown met brown, she finally said what her heart was screaming towards him.
“I love you, Orlando.”
You already know how much I love this, but hey, I'll happily said it again:
I. Love. This.
