I had the happiest news this morning (CET) while having breakfast and hearing the news on TV:

LORD OF THE RINGS ROTK won 11 Oscars!!!

It got 11 statuettes out of 11, just only Ben HUr and Titanic did before it!

That was seriously so awesome yesterday, how RotK just swept the floor with the other movies.

Yep, they deserved each and every one of those Oscars. I read somewhere that it was the first time that a movie nominated for best picture had no acting nominations, though I know at least Sean Astin deserved one as Sam :yes: .

I was a bit depressed when they gave the Best Actor in a comedy or drama to Sean Penn instead of Johnny Depp. He so deserved that one, so freaking funny as Captain Jack Sparrow :lmao:
