I haven't written anything in a long while, so to get me warmed up, I wrote something very short just as a warm up. If it sucks, it's because I haven't written in a long time. Constructive criticism appreciated =)

I wasn't sure if this was clear or not but this is in the point of view of a guy.

Hush



That girl had been staring at me all night, and I wasn't being overconfident either, she really was. I had to admit that I had been watching her, too. Now was the time to make a move. I'd had enough drinks to do something daring and I decided to go for it. As I approached where she sat, I immediately swerved in the other direction and walked away while cringing. I couldn't bring myself to do it. What if she laughed at me? Or made fun of me?

Somehow, I made my way back to my seat and put my head in my hands, regretting walking away from her and not even daring to take a risk. Turning around, I decided to give it another try, hoping she wouldn't make fun of my cowardice along with...She was there. In front of me.

Pulling my hand, she dragged me to the dancefloor and let her body be supported by mine as we spun slowly to the music. I didn't want to ruin the moment, but I had to say something; I couldn't stand not knowing why. Opening my mouth to speak, I was worried that she would be put off by my stuttering, something I couldn't help. Before I could get a word out, she put a finger to my mouth.

"Hush."

She gently placed her lips on mine and gave me such a delicate kiss; leaving me to savor the taste of her lips as she disappeared into the crowd.

:eek: That's so good Eve! I love how yoy described everything, with his feelings an all, that he was frightened, a coward, lmao! And don't worry, it doesn't suck at all. It's really sweet.

@ Raine - Paint Shop Pro 8...and then I post a URL (click http:// button on the toolbar where you post) then In the second bit, type whatever but remember that.

So it looks like - [ URL=http://www.domain.com/picture.jpg]Whatever[/URL ] (Without the spaces)

THen highlight the Whatever and click on the IMG button on top and enter the URL of your piccy!

I only have Paint Shop Pro 7.... **snaps her fingers** Dang-mam-it! **grr...** **sighs** Anywho thanks for the info and I love the banner.

well well my girl Eve, ur a constant surprise! First I know u can speak French, and now your little story climbed up to my top 3 best shorties I ever read...

it amazes me so, coz its really short and quite simple and delicate, but powerfully written. Honestly, I know criticism helps to improve, but I really don't know what to say but this: its haunting and amazing.
