Basically what did you do on New Years Eve and New Years Day?

I just wanted to know what you guys did

I went over to Ninque Elen's house and Laila came there too.
We had such a blast and ate Oliebollen (sorry... there's no word for it) and Appelflappen (again.. no word for it :laugh: )
and at 12 O'clock these dutch people have the tradition to light up fireworks and the entire neighbourhood was going mad. But it was such a pretty sight! Fireworks wherever you looked! And then later on we discussed our board... cause that's what admins are supposed to do ;)2

I was dieing.....bs of boringness.... I had to spend that night with parents in countryhouse.... :cry2: :cry2: :cry2: B-O-R-I-N-G ......that was very-very boring... The only funny thing: salut...that we made ^_^

And at 7am I decided to read The Silmarillion... :lalala:

Exactly what I'm doing now! When 11:55 pm rolled around, my hubby and I were very suprised at the time, and we ran in the living room to watch the ball drop with Dick Clark.

Does that make us boring people? :unsure:

No, not really. You all did not do boring things on New Years. For some of you guys, it's tradition and for some of you it's a new thing.

Well on New years i celebrated a New Zealand tradition you do on New Year's eve:
Get drunk lol

I went to a huge street party in Raglan and my friends dad bought us some vodka and we were all set.
It was so funny this really ugly drunk guy came up and hit on me. He was talking about all this crap and he just kept going. When we asked if we had boyfriends we lied and said yes, then he turned around to look at something we ran into the crowds of people then the whole night we had to hide from him.

We also had to try and dodge the cops because we were underage, but they didn't seem to worry about the under 18's.

I also saw a whole heap of peope I hadn't seen for a ages. Like Cameron and he couldn't remeber how to say my name because he was so drunk.

Hah, sounds like you had fun Tru.

A bunch of my soccer girls came over and we watched POTC, then watched the ball drop. As soon as it dropped we grabbed pots and pans and big spoons and ran to my porch to bang on them and scream. It wasn't until later my mom told me my big goons of friends broke 2 big spoons and a pot. They are crazy bangers.

New Years Eve: around 8PM I went to a friend of mine together with some other girls.. and after that we went clubbing to 6.30AM :blink:

New Years Day I went to my grandmother's :)
