I got inspired tonight so i thought I would post my short story now! Here is the first part:



Moonlight Tears

They walked along the river under the moonlight hand in hand. For them, each day was a struggle. She was sick with an unknown disease that was slowly killing her with each passing moment. He was without a hope, for this woman walking alongside him was the only love he ever knew. One moment, Kara would be laughing and smiling and only a while later would she be in anguish from the severe headaches caused by the disease.

“My love, why can’t all nights be like tonight?” she asked him.

“What do you mean?” he looked at her wonderingly.

“There is absolutely no pain, only a wonderful glow inside my body. I feel alive! I never want it to end.” Said Kara looking into Orlando’s eyes.

“Why do you have to be so wonderful to me, Kara? You suffer so much and yet you make me feel like the most wonderful person in the universe. How do you live day by day knowing that one day you will die?” Orlando asked.

“I just know that as long as you are by my side, I won’t be afraid of death or any obstacle that would try to separate us, my love.” Whispered Kara as she linked her hand in Orlando’s strong grasp…

Part 2

The next few weeks were seemingly uneventful for Kara. She didn’t have any of her episodes of seizures or headaches.

Orlando and she had been together now for 1 year and he hadn’t forgotten that! He planned a quiet dinner for them at an upscale restaurant in London. From there he had scheduled a massage and therapy session at one of the local spas. He hoped that for this one night, Kara could forget her pain and just be his.

He picked her up at 7:00 and they drove to La Fantail, a elegant restaurant in the heart of London.

“May I park your car for you, sir?” asked the valet.

“Yes, here are the keys. Who do we ask when we are ready to leave?” inquired Orlando.

“Just tell your waiter that you want to leave and your name. We will drive your car around to the front of the restaurant and give you your keys when you pay for your meal.”

“That sounds good.”

Orlando helped Kara out of the car and put his arm around her as they walked into the restaurant. They were seated in a corner reserved especially for them. For dinner they ordered a double plate of clams and crab legs and a side of spinach alfredo pasta.

“Orli, I don’t know how you planned all of this without spilling it to me. I have never been happier in my life. How long has it been since we have just sat and talked and not cared about my sickness or your career?

“I agree, I am glad that we could be together tonight. I still have one more surprise for you though.” Orlando smiled at her and took her hand slowly caressing it.

Orlando it's a sweetie in the story ... and Kara ... i feel bad and amazed by her ... she isn't a negative girl, even if she is sick and all of that

What would you guys think if I made this story into a fanfic?

Not a long one but long enough so I could draw out the story more and describe things better.
