This is a song by Rufus Wainwright, you guys might now it from the shrek soundtrack. Anyways, its such a beautiful song, i had to write about it.

I heard there was a secret cord,
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
He sat alone, his head in his hands, blue eyes shining like stars in the night. He tried to remember what he was going to say, the preplanned words calculated for the maximum effect. He stuttered and stammered them out to his broken reflection on the surface of the lake, remembering the last time hed been through this, when all his efforts had failed and hed coldly been turned away. Deciding to start again, he composed his speech in his mind, confused by the rush of feelings, sensations strange yet not unknown to him.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
A rush of inexplicable happiness and joy seized him, the hope of this time being accepted was overpowering.
Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah.
Beauty, horror, love, and hate, all wrapped up. That was what she was to him. He knew her inside and out, loved every inch of skin on her gorgeous body. A look from her made his spine tingle, and at a touch... bliss. She hurt him, destroyed his heart and soul. Whipped his bare conscious with a spiked whip, bringing tears of blood to his eyes, which dripped down his cheeks and each salty tear was savoured by a greedy tounge as his love for her was satisfied in the pain.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Maybe I've been here before
I know this room, I've walked this floor
I used to live alone before I knew you
I've seen your flag on the marble arch
Love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
Pacing the room, butterflies seemed to be the main component of his body as he thought of his task. He'd done this before; too many times. Too well he knew the fluttering of wings in his stomache, too well the mixed feeling of hope and despair, too well the plans and wishes that were to be shattered at the delicate pale hands of his beautiful goddess.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
There was a time you let me know
What's real and going on below
But now you never show it to me, do you?
And remember when I moved in you?
The holy dark was moving too
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah
He sat back and remembered the happy times, sapphire eyes sparkling and laughing along as his memories played before his eyes, transported for a second back to when love was beautiful. He remembered the long talks he had with her about nothing, something, and everything, where she told him of her sorrows and pains, her joys and gains. He walked again in the times where their hearts beat simultaneously, where their love was written on their sleeves and carried with pride for all to see. He lived once again the time when they were as one, in movements, breath, thought, and love.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Gems sparkled in the dark as the happy memories left him with tears in his eyes, recalling the happiness and living the pain. Recollections of past laughter and present tears, clashing in his heart, both sides fighting for his body and soul to the death.
Maybe there's a God above
And all I ever learned from love
Was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you
It's not a cry you can hear at night
It's not somebody who's seen the light
Its a cold and its a broken Hallelujah.
A smile once again dawned on his face as he thought that this was how it was meant to be. Struggle to be recognized, fight to be accepted, and the long walk back to the beginning after failure. He straightened his back, accepting the challenge set before him, willing to destroy any barriers and overcome any enemies and defenders of his object along the way. He walks calmly out the door, knowing that most likely he would come back defeated, depleated, and destroyed, and knowing that he'd do it gladly for her. He'd come back a little wiser, a little sadder, a little more in love, but he'd come back, and eventually, after time had healed his wounds, he'd go back into battle again. The path of a trained and experienced soldier, full of missiles and mines unbeknownst to the eyes of a recruit that has been blinded with false glory. Forwards he trudged, onwards he marched, his determined blue eyes piercing the night. He would eventually conquer this. He would eventually be able to sing again for all to hear, "Hallelujah".
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

guess what? I love this song and often thought of writing a shortie out of it. But I don't think I could write a one that's better than this! You said all I wanted to say, and plus u managed to move me once again, as I can experience all the feelings a reader gets as reading a good piece of story.
