Title: Disillusioned
Author: Laila
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Slash
Pairing: Viggo/Sean

Disillusioned

I looked at Viggo, wondering if there was still the man inside him, that I had learned to love. So different he seemed after all this time that had passed, aged, and straighter then he ever had.

Celebrated star in the middle of all attention, in the focus of all the eyes, did he still hate it?
If he did, he clearly didn't show it - what hurt for some reason.

It's true, what they said, he gave away less of himself then before, but isn't that just natural in a way? Isn't it how we all act, act us though life, happy if we find back to our selves at the end of the day, happy if we manage to pull of the facade, the bloody mask we wear to protect ourselves from the harsh light of merciless reality...

Happy if we find someone who doesn't care about pretence, who doesn't care about a public persona - I had been deluded to believe, that I had.

I put up a smile, greet him warmly but my heart wasn't into it - not in the way it had been once, blinking away rising tears I let go of him, another smile, another squeeze - and he is gone, as if nothing had ever happened.

Title: Stolen Goodbye
Author: Laila
Rating: PG-13

Stolen Goodbye

"You could have told me, Elijah" I whispered. "But that isn't your style right?"
I knew that my pain-stained voice had hushed into a ironic hiss.
"You keep stuff to yourself, no one is worth your cognizance, big movie-star keeps things to himself, the only person he can trust!"

I knew I was being unfair - more then unfair, I was cruel and I hated myself for it, but I also hated him. I felt hot tears running down my cheeks, like endless cascading rivers.

"Why didn't you tell me?!" I sobbed, falling to my knees onto the lawn, my eyes fixed onto the delicate gravestone - an angel of white marble. The tomb was loaded with flowers and garlands, but I knew he wouldn't have liked it, it didn't suit him, but that didn't matter anymore.

"How could you rob my chance to say goodbye?!"

Title: How to mend a broken heart
Author: Laila
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Éowyn, Merry

How to mend a broken heart

"I daresay, you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, Lady Éowyn!"

The tall woman smiled downs softly, wiped away a rising tear swiftly and met the young Hobbit's pertly sparkling eyes. He grinned when she sat down next to him and reached for her hand.

"Don't you linger where your heart can't be happy my lady!"

He reached for the tear, which had escaped her lid, knowing that Aragorn occupied each of her thoughts.

"Allow me teach you how the Shirefolk deals with a broken heart, my Lady!"

Éowyn smiled and nodded then, and a tiny smirk wreathed her pale lips when Meriadoc triumphantly pulled out his long pipe and stuffed it with the last few leaves of the Southfarthing, light it carefully, and handed it over to the beautiful woman who sat across him as soon as the first gentle wisps of smoke left his lips.

Title: Long lost
Author: Laila
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Implied slash
Pairing: Aragorn, Faramir

Long Lost

The King of Gondor sighed deeply when he entered the small ward, as if his blood-stained garb would suffocate his lungs, felt like someone drowning, gasping for air, but all he inhaled was dead and decomposition.

He had been told Lady Éowyn lay here, deadly wounded, with no chance of remedy, and though his heard already bled from all the corpses he had seen, brave men not moving in the mud - earth and blood, mixed to a sticky, stinking mash, that he knew would haunt him, he had to offer her comfort, with whatever he had left to offer.

But when his eyes started to acclimate to the lighting-conditions his gaze fell onto someone else, his jaw dropped and he felt as if his knees were ready to fail.

"Boromir!" he breathed, stumbling to the man's side. He grabbed his hand, kissed it all over in the rushed ecstasy of a love he had believed to be long lost. Forgotten was Éowyn, forgotten his crown and responsibility.
"Oh Boromir, you're alive!" his calloused hand, that still wore his lost lovers gloves, unbelievingly caressed the man's cheek, when his eye-lids fluttered open with a puzzled expression.

"You knew my brother?"
