First off, my name is Stacy Zanavich. I'm 22 years old. I live in a small but growing town of South Lyon, Michigan. I moved here when I was 12. It was an extremely hard transition for me.
Only a year earlier I had been in the hospital with osteomyalitis. It's a bone disease that effected my pelvic bone. I couldn't walk for weeks. I missed over a month of my 5th grade year. As I was just finishing recovering and learned how to walk again I moved. This was a year later. Now, I used to live in Redford, MI where where 6th grade was in elementary school. I come to South Lyon and it's middle school. I got thrown into a new environment with new people, having never been in a middle school situation. If that wasn't bad enough we also did this whole moving 2 days before Christmas. It was rough. I've been in South Lyon for going on 10 years now. I'm extremely happy for the change we made now and I could never imagine moving back.
I graduated high school in the year 2000 and then attended Oakland Community College in the fall of 2000. I have just recently graduated there in June with an associates degree in Liberal Arts. I'm taking some time off to work, which I am currently doing at The Learning Tree. It's a child care where I am a teacher for toddlers, or a caregiver some call it. I plan on going back to school at Eastern Michigan to get my degree in Early Childhood Education.
I've always been interested in writing and English classes from way back in elementary school. I've always come up with my own stories and creative writing projects. I had never tried creating any fan fiction stories for online until I came across the Elijah Wood Fan Network.
I had first started getting into LOTR when I saw trailers for it during Harry Potter. It wasn't until The Two Towers came out in theatres when I really started getting interested. I searched the internet for websites and anything else I could find out about the actors and the stories. I fell upon EWFN and the rest has been history. I've met a lot of incredible people who have the same interests as me and they've all spilled over, as have I, to EWAC and I hope we can keep this going. It's been fun and not only that but it's also been a learning experience. Some people may not see it but everyone is helping each other out to improve their writing, ect. I'm really happy for that.
Other that that, I love movies, reading, music, shopping, relaxing, giving and recieving massages, watching hockey, sleeping, dancing and singing. My favorite singers at the moment are Clay Aiken, Josh Groban, Nickelback and 3 Doors
Down. My favorite t.v. shows are Charmed and One Tree Hill. I'm also a huge fan of the Game Show Network.
I don't know what else I should write at the moment so for now... THAT'S ME!!
