Hi everyone, its me again...after finding some of my old notebooks in storage, I found one story about the LOTR actors and their made up families living and going through struggles during the American Revolution (1770's until early 1780s) and I thought it'd be kinda cool to bring it back. Now I'm in the process of re-editing everything so I have no idea when it's going to be up. So I thought I'd give it a shot.


Here's a short summary: Life during the War was never easy, but four/five families untie to stay together no matter what lies ahead.

So remember this, when you fill this out, that life during the American Revolution was very different than now a days. Hopefully you all will find it interesting...here's some info about the American Revolution and the story will mostly take place in Boston, Massachusetts and right after the Boston Tea Party which happened in December of 1773 I believe.

And remember back then they used real traditional names like John, James, Thomas, Emily, Hannah, William, etc.


My character's family have 4 kids with the names of Joshua, Collin, Benjamin and Madeline so those are taken. And so is Gerry Butler lol...sorry...

And I also need a character willing to come from the year of 2007 or 2008 back to the Revolution which will be found by one of the families and fall in love with a bachelor....thats a first come first serve. And I need four families or so.

OOOHH!! I love 18th Century history! YES!! Awesome idea! I would love to be the girl that travels back in time or one of the wives in the story.

Emily married Orlando Bloom (or which ever guy you choose) after just turning seventeen. he came to her father's plantation in Charleston to trade cotton and crops with for up in Boston, he was a young wealthy Plantation owner up in Boston and fell immediately in love with Emily. They now live just outside of Boston on their large plantation with their 3 children, Caroline (6), William (3), and Susan (1) and they plan to have many more children.


-(For the time traveler part) Kathleen is studying at Boston Conservatory of the arts for theater, minoring in HIstory. She grew up in Charleston South Carolina with her aunt Julie not knowing much about her familyhistory. But when she stumbles upon in the Charleston history museum artifacts and books section her last name and family tree she wants to learn more, she reads that some decendants went to Boston. So while studying in Boston she goes on a search for her family hisroty even more and but when she delves too deep in the artifacts and books, something happens and she wakes up in a cobblestone street confused and wondering where the hell she is. She stays with a local family and learns about her family and falls for the rich bachelor in town.

I figure it is easier for you if I don't go into too much detail regarding personality and physical appearance so that you can mold her to your story and your plot line but if you do need anything else, don't hesitate to ask! Physical Description: A little above average height, slender torso, with long limbs and curvy hips, dark hair of which she keeps swept back and really only lets it fall when she goes to bed, green-grey eyes that look somewhat cat-like.
Personality Description: She is very intelligent, having been home schooled because her family were in possession of quite a lot of wealth. She is very witty and used this, as well as natural charm to win her husband. There is little that annoys her, and she has a rather high tolerance for people and their beliefs despite the times, and she feels very strongly in the freeing of the slaves. She is a hard worker, doing her best at home to help her husband, which means learning how to spin and weave when tea and cloth become scarce during the Revolution. She is loyal and incredibly faithful to her husband, and though they are prone to their disagreements, she's always the first to apologise.

Family History (parents, siblings etc): She comes from a family of six, Ethan (30), Richard (27), Cary (26), Elizabeth (24) and Geraldine (23). The youngest of them all, she was her father's favourite but disobeyed him by marrying for love and was thus stripped of her inheritance. She has a rather estranged relationship with her mother though she gets on well with her siblings, particularly her brother Cary and her sister Elizabeth. Geraldine is the only one yet to marry and the two write to each other constantly. She hasn't spoken to her father since she eloped, and though she sends him letters they are always returned unopened. She hopes to one day fill that void, especially since he is of an old age. Sometimes she rather misses the privileged life, particularly when she fights with her husband, the children are being insufferable and there are bills to pay, and at these times, she is prone to sitting alone and crying for hours. On most occasions, she is very happy, but may snap when provoked when she is under a lot of stress or anxiety over her husband's career and her children's future. Despite his lack of money, he had been well brought up and though she liked to initiate intimate behaviour, he never gave in till their wedding night.
Kids: Tristan, Henry and Erik. The three boys are triplets and she gave birth when she was nineteen, so they are now four years old. They are toddlers so they drive her up the wall, but she keeps them well entertained with books and sock puppets when she can. They are trying for a fourth, and she wants a girl to name 'Grace' in light of the Revolution, but they have been unsuccessful so far.
Husband's Occupation: In New Orleans he worked as overseer of her father's plantation and took to small jobs in Boston to support her, finally earning a steady job and income as a bank clerk. His boss holds him in high regard and he is an honest worker.
Parenting: She disciplines them well but has trouble doing so if they pull sad faces or cry, though she is as observant and loving as any good parent should be. As a housewife, she takes particular care in raising her children and they are constantly on her mind. She does not shout at them, but has devised certain stares and expressions that frighten the boys into good behaviour. Her only one annoyance is when they have nightmares on night's that she and her husband are rather...'busy'.

Personality Description: Katie is the mother figure of the group. She is caring, loving and is always there for anyone who needs it. She's not afraid to have fun and is blunt. She is also a worrywort more than Gerry and she is right after her worries and gut feelings most time. She does have a fun side to her and loves spending time with her family and friends. She also loves Gerry more than anything and will do anything for him and her family and friends.


Family History (parents, siblings etc): Katie Sheridan-Franklin was born on Christmas Day in 1750 to Thomas and Anne Sheridan along with her twin brother Collin in Raleigh, North Carolina. All were happy until one day robbers came during the night and killed her family except for Katie who hid underneath her bed. She buried her family, took some money and made her way to Philadelphia and was found by Benjamin Franklin who welcomed her into his home and soon adopted her and she legally added Franklin to her name because she was proud to be Ben's only daughter. When she was 20, one of her father's apprentices soon found a way to her troubled heart and broke down her wall and that man was Gerard Butler , but Gerry to her.

One day, as an apprentice at Benjamin Franklin's newspaper, in Philadelphia, he meets and falls in love with Benjamin's adopted daughter Kathryn, also known as Katie. Although the two overcame alot of obstacles, they were married the day after Katie found out she was pregnant with the twins. Gossip soon arose around the city and the couple decided to move back to Boston to live with the Butler's until Gerry found a job.

Great! I just had a thought, if you need a last name for her and her family before she got married I think 'Parish' would be fitting, but she can always have whatever surname you'd like her to have. Oh, she can be pregnant if you'd like. It'd probably be a little more dramatic if she did get pregnant when the Revolution was in high swing ahah, but yes, whatever you like, I don't mind, as long as there's enough naked Christian Bale and Gerry Butler I am GOOD.

Here I am... first, I'd better apologize, because I didn't resist doing a bit of researching myself. But, hon, if the stuff I'm writing clashes with what you had in mind, don't hesitate to let me know, so can change it fully, or just edit the bits that don't match.

I figured that since this is a very definite setting, and hints at history, and that you all picked lovely characters that seem to belong together, I might spice it up a bit.

So, I picked myself a high-class character... I don't know whta's with me and wealthy characters, must be the fact I never had money in my life! :D

Age (20's): 25 on 1773, the year of the Boston Tea party, so this makes her born in 1748.

Physical Description: the usual, copper red curly hair (lways kept up in the era's fashion, you know, many, many painful pins), cerulean eyes, pale skin, 5''5" for 110 ibs.

Personality Description: in public quite quiet, but brilliant, with a mastered conversation, (she travelled to europe briefly as a child, was educated home and in a school of fine manners, you get the type). She has a tendency to salacious remarks, but she disgues them as literature quites lik all fine ladies should do. She's funny, her own way, but always poised. With her family her friends she is more open, she smiles more often and she is not afraid to show when she gets angry, but she never looses control openly. Very supportive and loyal, she'd do anything for her husbadn and children, and being part of the high class, she tends to trace a bit her parents' footsteps, you know, how daddy is the brave hero and mummy the perfect house woman, but she can think with her own mind. You can see the passion underneath in her relationship with her husband. She's proud, but surprisingly unjudgmental and open-minded for one of her kind. Family History (parents, siblings etc): Okay, please consider that although I borrowed the name of a true historic figure, the story of 'my' family is totally made up.

So, Anne Cathy was born in 1748 in a high class family in Boston, Massachussetts. Her maternal uncle was Thomas Hutchinson, and she was always very close to her uncle and aunt who, having only two sons, doted Anne and her older sister, Emma, very much. Her father, Edward Senior, was a lawyer, and her mother, Emma, was the younger sister to Thomas Hutchinson.
Anne is the third of four children: Elizabeth, three years older, is married off and living in a plantation in Virginia; Edmund, one year older than Anne, was a soldier with the British Army and he died from malaria in India. Anne's mother, Emma, who already had little sympathy for the British Army, started to express her disapproval against the crown since Edmund's death, three years prior. (Of course it's not like high-class ladies fuss much openly, right?).
Anne's younger brother, Robert, is a doctor.
And here, hon, I hope you don't mind, because I'm a fan of Twilight like basically everybody 'round here and I'd really like to have this connection... besides, if you need a bachelor, it could be him because he's the youngest, a man, so he didn't need to get married as quickly as the sisters did. Or if you don't like the idea, it's a nice way to introduce a small group of unmarried men... besides, a doctor in a story is always useful!

Anne was born, bred and educated in Boston, and she was properlt introduced to society and always spent her life not at the top, but near thetop of it. She is the same age of Martha Jefferson, and they spetnt a couple of summers together in Virginia when they were kids. Although they were never very close, this 'connection' was always brought up by Anne's family.

She has a quite good relationship with her parents, because, to put it simply, she never gave them enough reasons to dislike her. Anne is, seen from the outside, the perfect product of her society: educated (but not too much, sadly), polite and with a good, healthy family.

How you meet your hubby: Oh man, this is a long story. He was the firstborn of an Irish tailor, and he attended the Boston Latin School. I picked this one because Boston Latin has played rival Boston English in Football every Thanksgiving since 1887,the oldest continuous high school rivalry in the United States. One year the 'traditional' brawl was so fierce it continued in the streets, in small groups of two-four students at the time, who tagged each other throughout the city. You know kids... well, Anne and her brother were walking home and they ran into these three teenagers who were beating each other up with great passion, and when one went down, the other two ran away. Guess who was the one who was left down? Aha! We brought him home, propped him up someway, and by that time it was dinner time and dad came home and this Irish guy (he was sixteen at that time, Anne was fourteen) turned out to be very clever and polite, although he had quite a temper, and 'daddy' got to like him. He stuck around, and when Anne turned seventeen, they got married.

Anne and er husband have a remarkably good relationship, because no matter she is so quiet and polite in apparence, she has quite a temper too, and she is very clever, and within the 'domestic' walls she is not afraid to speak her mind and challenge her husband. he mostky find it amusing and inspiring, because he's a fierce man too... they rarely fight, but there's a lot of shared banters, jokes, provocations in general between them.
Jonathan is also a close friend of Anne's brother Robert, because the two siblings have always been very close.

Kids (how many age and names....remember Joshua, Collin, Benjamin and Madeline are taken): Edward, 7 years old: Henry, 5 years old, and little Alice of 2.

Parenting (Are you the cool, strict, fun parent? etc): I'm a strange parent... everybody thinks I'm a bit of a stuck-up, you know, the one who tells kids not to run, shout or get dirty, who makes them take piano lessons and such, but at home, I'm quite funny. I play for them, and it's always quick, honkey piano music, I dance in the living room, let them play with paint and so on. They have their nannies, but they are not estranged from their parents like in the most of high class families.

Have a good week dearies, I'm exhausted, today I started babysitting one of my co-workers and good friends' 11 week old baby for a few hours on Mondays and I'm so tired. His name is Elijsha and he's such a sweet baby, but he's so gassy most of the time and has a cold on top of that, so he was miserable. Plus he eats like a horse so every 1-2 hours I was feeding him. And they have 5 animals so yeah it was intense...

Personality Description:
She is a sweet and caring woman who loves being in her house. She is really loyal and even if she enjoys having friends she doesn't like the high socialité life. She is active and loves her children and her husband to death. Ava is rather delicate and petite, she seems shy and sweet but she is known to have one of the strongest tempers in the city. She is really loyal and her loyalty to her friends and family outstands to anything else. She was educated in London, so she learnt how to be graceful in her movements and in her talk. She is incredibly intelligent though, being mostly educated by her father, she knows literature, language, music and arts. She loves a good discussion and she enjoys to have them with her husband. Having knowledge in medicine, she volunteers as a nurse in a wounded hospital, helping at the same time to her husband. She is very much in love with her husband and supports him in every single decision he takes. Even if that means that she is going ot have extra responsabilities. She is a very private person, so she is able to keep a smile in her face or a straight face in even the toughest of the situations. Even all that, she is playful and childish inher manners and her talk. She loves to play games with her kids and tries to spend the most of her free time with them. She is the youngest of four children: William "Billy"Jr., George, Charles "Charlie". Her grandfather, William Boyd was a high class business man in London; he had made money with several businesses in the Americas and in England. Ava's father, William Boyd II came to America to continue managing his father companies and to become a recognize doctor liking the new land and the new city, he decided to stay in the new country and marry a French Socialité Anne Sophie Knightley, who was the daughter of a French woman and an English Diplomat. William Boyd II soon created his own spot in the Boston socialité and became one of the most recognized doctors in the city, along with one of the richest men in town with his inherited lands and businesses from his dad.

William "Billy" Jr, or just Billy as Ava calls him, became a lawyer and a secret supporter to the new independence ideas, he married Abigail Johnsonn and moved to the south, to New York, where he had five children, but only three survived the three years old.

George Boyd, was the smartest one and the one that decided to became a doctor as his father. He was the most responsable one and refused to follow and support Ava's childish behavior. He married an also boring woman called Emma. They had 4 children. Ava sees them every sunday but doesn't have quite a good relationship with them.

Charles Boyd is the youngest one and the sibling who is more alike to Ava. He is still studying medicine in Harvard. He is a bachelor and a playboy and his parents are pushing him to get married soon.

She had been away for years while she completed her education in a prestigious girls school in London, and he saw her last when she was still a child. But she came back as a lady and their friendship *cough* reborn again. Ava remembered him when she was younger and always found him fun to be with, so it wasn't such a horrible thing when she started seeing him again. He finally asked for her hand in marriage a year after she came back from school, and just after his graduation from medicine, her dad accepted gradly and they got married a month later.

I just sent Anna the banner info and she's working on them for me :D Now I'm still working on the chapter outlines, I have around 15 chapters written out, but it takes awhile to place major events in with our own lives etc. I have a couple people pregnant, I have drama, battles, violence, family, you name it, I probably have it in there lol. So hang in there with me :)

Bad News: I'm a bit stuck in the middle...


Good News: I should have the prologue done and edited within the next few weeks so you never know, it may be up sooner than later.


It's getting good and yay for my friend from my old job Sara being in there. She's been lurking around the site and I needed someone for Orlando's wife and she said me me me me and i laughed and said sure.

So my prediction right now: Maybe late September, early October. I'll let everyone know and everyone's promoting the story with their banners, thanks y'all :hug:

I've been gone for two days since my computer's been done and look at all this...I dont know if Sara will be scared or amused ;)....amused probably lol. I was going to make Orlando the bachelor of the bunch since no one signed their hubby up to help Gerry run the family tavern, but Sara brought some great ideas to my attention and to return the favor, I asked if she wanted to be in it, she said sure as long as she got a hot guy. So she then looked at my notebook of information along with my outlines and she picked Orlando. She is lurking around and Anna, if I got her banner person, could you make her a banner? I bet she'd love that lol.


And since I talked to my friend who is a fellow history minor last night, I've been writing like crazy and I am almost done with the chapter outlines.

So I do have an announcement.............drum roll please.........


The story will be posted at the earliest date of September 1st. I quit my job so I'm at home writing while looking for jobs. It should be no later than September 15th which is my 23rd birthday lol.


So thanks for all the kind words of encouragement and I know Sara would feel very welcomed here :)

I'll keep in touch for when the date is drawing closer.... ^_^

LOL, I don't blame you and thanks so much! I just texted her asking her who'd she like. She's paired with Orlando and her name is still Sara...so it'd be Orlando and Sara Bloom, if you want to do it like the others.

And thanks, I quit my job at a retail store (walmart for those who want to know because I got sick of all the drama and getting yelled at all the time by dumb, untrained csm's) so I've had plenty of time to write and I just wrote something in for you my dear Anna, that you will not expect at all. And you may not like me for it making one of the men you like a total asshole lol. I'm trying to get all families involved with some kind of drama...I'm just kinda stuck on Pat's family lol. So Pat if you have any ideas, please feel free to let me know :)

I have absolutely no idea if this applies, but maybe Christinan can be drafted into a battle or something? or I suppose anything trivial, a really pompous and rich woman/man might move in close to them and recognise Evelyn and cause trouble or something. I've no idea! :(

Gah, this left me with more questions than I had to begin with...

anyway, drama, drama, why are we so addicted to it? Isn't life rough enough? :lol: I am really not sure what to suggest, it's hard to thro ideas in the air without knowing what is going on, but... well, any inter-class conflic is good, when it's well phrased. I just don't like villans who act like villans without a real justification or back-ground analysis, you know?
