I've been really wanting to write a story like this for quite a bit of time, so now I've decided to pick a bunch of you lovely girls as (half) my cast. Basically it's a satire of reality television. It illustrates how contrived and scripted it really is, thus defeating the whole purpose of the 'reality' aspect of it.

There have been tons of rumours of how some reality television stars have to repeat the same line over and over again until it's said perfectly. In shows like Survivor, sometimes the, um, crew, try to control the result of the game, who gets voted off, who stays in, where the contestants can and cannot go (one of the seasons took place a few miles from a theme park). Other times, they recruit people, usually to find interesting characters or as eye candy. I want to take all those elements and put them into this one story.

I might need some source of inspiration here for what type of reality show it's going to be, so I kind of need your help there.

Personality: Shy when you first meet her, then can't get her to shut up lol, out-going, extremely friendly too nice sometimes, great with kids, romantic, sensitive, good listener, loves to give advice, very funny and does random things sometimes.


Physical Description: Short much like a hobbit at 5 ft 2 with red hair that she hates so she straightens it a lot. She has big blue eyes that sparkle when she smiles/laughs. She is also curvy, but not big, she's about average weight (150ish pounds). She thinks she's a tad bit fat at times, but knows that she is fine the way she is.


Occupation: College Graduate/Studied to be a teacher


History (I need some sob stories, you'll have more fans!!): Catcher was the only daughter of two English lawyers that always made time for her and her brother Daniel. On Christmas Eve when Catcher and Daniel were waiting up for their parents to get home, their parents get into a car accident and are killed instantly. Catcher and Daniel are heartbroken when they are sent to Manchester to live with their aunt and uncle who despised children and ignored them completely. When Daniel was 16, he was emanicipated from them and with the money he and Catcher had saved (and stolen) from their aunt and uncle, they moved to the United States---to Raleigh, North Carolina. They both finished high school with high honors while working part-time jobs and went to UNC-Charlotte...Daniel to be a doctor while Catcher studied to be a school teacher. One day, Catcher met and fell in love with a fellow student named Andrew and they soon fell in love. After their first year anniversary, Catcher discovered she was pregnant and Andrew soon claimed that she was nothing, but a whore and that the child wasn't his. Daniel and Catcher were shocked when she went into labor that Andrew shows up and apologizes for his actions being immature and irresponsible, Daniel doesn't forgive him easily, but Catcher does and she delivers their son---Grayson Andrew Sheridan. Andrew and Catcher were good parents, juggling college and working full-time while being there for their son until Andrew is killed during a shooting at a local Wal-Mart store. Catcher is heartbroken and once again Daniel is there to pick her up.


Would you lie/cheat/backstab to win a game?: I would be in an alliance or something, I would lie and maybe backstab, but never cheat.


Would you ever change your personality on screen to make yourself seem more interesting?: If I really wanted to, only for good though.


What type of character would you consider yourself to be, if you ever were to be on a television show (ie a bitch, a villain, a sweetheart, an-under-the-radar player, a piece of eye candy, etc): I consider myself to be a normal, sweet person, but I also get taken advantage of so if I was in an alliance then it would be harder to get taken advantage of.


How would you deal with being put in a group with people you just CAN'T tolerate: Ignore them or be evil and backstab them...however...if I hear them talking shit or being lazy or a bitch/asshole, I will blow up at them, if you're going to talk shit then I say get it right lol.

What's your favorite reality show?: Right now it's Rock of Love and the Hills, but I normally love American Idol, Dancing With the Stars and the Amazing Race

My dad died when I was 7 years old and my mom had to become a single mother and raise me and my older brother, Peter and pay for college and everything. I have been struggling to become a theater actress in NYC and been living a very small closet style apartment and my finace I was engaged to died ina car wreck this past year. I just now finally got a great thater job and my agent thought I should do a reality TV to get my face out there for bigger and brighter things.


Would you lie/cheat/backstab to win a game?: Maybe, but any alliance I made I would keep, I would not backstab my alliance, but would lie/backstab/cheat on others who weren't in my alliance.

Personality: very creative and extremely unjudgemental. And this can have pros and cons in a big group. I can be friends with everybody, justify anything. So, people can either judge me as lojal and juste, or totally false and a backstabber! I can listen, and I mean, really listen, and I am very supportive. the perfect second in charge, but not a leader, I'm not confident enough. Sarcastic, humorous, talented with words and speeches, but little action.

Physical Description: 5'5" for 110 ibs, a slender body, no fat, but little muscles too. :-) pale complexion, ginger, curly hair to the shoulders and cerulean eyes.

Occupation: I'm gonna go for something I never tried before so... let's say dentist. Yeah, I like that.

History (I need some sob stories, you'll have more fans!!): my life was never bright, really. Born and bred in Chicago, I used to hang out wth the bad guys, mainly out fo boredom. Graduated from college by the skin of my teeth, despite I was smart... took an year to 'relax', and ended up spending 6 months in prison for participation to an armed robbery. Out on parole. My college sweetheart and my best friend served the whole sentence, but this didn't stop me from marrying him as soon as I finished my time. It was four years of marriage with him in jail and me out, but when he was set free and we started to live together, we realized we weren't meant to be, and divorced. :-p People joke about it with me (how I like my men locked up and at a safe distance), but i don't mind.

Would you lie/cheat/backstab to win a game?: definitely lie, but not backstab. It will be the kind of lies that, in my opinion, try to mend things among people. My theorie is that the audience will love a negotiator, someone who can always make the best decision for everybody. oh, and I tend to bluff a bit on my talents, too, make myself loo slightly better than I am.

Would you ever change your personality on screen to make yourself seem more interesting?: I would surely try, but not sure I'd make it. Not because I have strong moral principles, but rather coz I have a personality that tends to show up even when I try to hide it. I mean, I'm naturally a second in charge... I can 'pretend' being a leader, but after 24 housr, I'll go and seek the advice of someone stronger.

I have the ability of justify basically everything. but whne someone really gets on my nerves, I usually try to be away as much as possible, away from them. If forced to cooperated, i switch from the 'maybe we should try to do this, if it's okay to you all' when I'm ina good mood to the 'whatever, just do what you want' when I'm in a bad one.

Name: Maeve Doogan


Age: 26


Personality: Good natured girl. Seems timid and meek at first glance but has a resonating inner strength and determination. Tends to be a loner - afraid to get close to people because she doesn't want them to learn her "inner demons". Acts as if she doesn't need anyone or any help. She also acts as if she is immune to what others say about her and that she doesn't care that she doesn't have any close friends but in reality she seeks out approval and love just like everyone else - probably more so than others since she had such a loveless childhood.


Physical Description: 5'5', long blonde hair, blue eyes that tend to change color from blue to green to almost grey depending on her mood, pale porcelain skin marred by freckles on the bride of her nose, curvy build, several tattoos adorn her body (to Maeve tattooing is a form of therapy - it is a self-inflicted pain, it is a way of her to take control of her body and build up her tolerance to the physical pain she endures in her so called relationships)


Occupation: Nuclear medicine technologist


History (I need some sob stories, you'll have more fans!!): Maeve does not know her real parents. She was an orphan who was in and out of foster care her whole life. She was abused mentally, verbally and physically by some of her foster parents. She eventually became sick and tired of the abuse and ran away at the age of 17. At a local shelter, Maeve was befriended and eventually taken in by a woman (Adelle) who acted as a surrogate mother and friend. With the help of Adelle, Maeve went to college and received her bachelor's in muclear medicine. Adelle passed away shortly after Maeve graduates from college, once again leaving Maeve all alone in the world. After Adelle's death Maeve blindly thew herself into relationship after relationship hoping to find someone to fill the void in her heart. Maeve doesn't make the best choices in men and ends up with guys who manipulate her, cheat on her and abuse her. The abuse she ran from as a child has returned full force as an adult. She endures the abuse because that is what she is used to from childhood on up and doesn't feel that she is worthy enough to be treated better. Adelle was the only one who could get it through Maeve's thick skull that she was worth more than all the abuse she tolerated. But since Adelle is gone, Maeve no longer has someone there to remind her that she deserves more in life. Maeve's latest "love interest" beats her to within inches of her life and ends up in the hospital. Released from the hospital, bandaged and broken, Maeve picks up the pieces of her shattered life and moves to a new state where she hopes to put her past behind her and start a new life. Unfortunately for Maeve, the past is not so easily forgotten and the reminants of her prior life haunt her nightmares and prevent her from becoming close to anyone.


Would you lie/cheat/backstab to win a game?: Maeve is no stranger to lying (uses it as a way of protecting herself) so lying is not out of the question for her. Cheating and backstabbing is not her thing, especially since she has been backstabbed so many times before in life.


Would you ever change your personality on screen to make yourself seem more interesting?: Not necessarily to make more interesting, but in an effort to protect herself and not let people know what type of life she lived before. Maeve prefers not to be in the limelight, she is happy lingering in the shadows.

Age: 21

Personality: Great with one or two people, but her mind wanders in big groups. She's not very athletic, competitive, but brushes off loss in order to support others. Quiet, thoughtful, and shy at first, but she can also be very silly (fun loving, but not stupid) and has a biting wit that she tries to keep under control. She's hugely loyal to friends and family, though slightly embarrassed by the attention her hometown gives her. She tries to stay out of people's way, but won't back down when supporting people she cares about, etc. Her wit does get her in trouble though, and she's got a quick temper, which usually results in deathly silence from her until she calms down. She's slow to warm up to people, and willing to leave behind harmful relationships, but never stops caring about people she once loved. She's into literature (modern and class), movies (anything but gore and stupid-funny movies), music (Muse, Iron and Wine, Regina Spektor, you name it, hehe...). Does that help...?

Physical Description: dark-strawberry-blond. Naturally wavy, but blow dried straight into a haircut very much like Anne Hathaway's in The Devil Wears Prada (bangs included). Dark grey-blue eyes, about 5'6" and 120 lbs. Curvy, but thin, ivory skin with (eeeevil) freckles, but not toooo many. Smallish hands and feet, with toenails usually painted purple or purple/red, etc.

Occupation: Secretary for a Film Studio, not-yet-successful novelist on the side. University Student as well.

Marianne was about 14 at the time, and she and Edward became very close as a result. Their father is sort of melancholic, but loves them both and supports them, along with the rest of their town. Edward is a grad student at Oxford, but visits whenever he can, etc. She's been in love once, with a high school sweetheart who dumped her for a mutual friend, which she tries not to resent, though the memory of that betrayal keeps her sort of distant. Her best girl friend back home entered her into the Reality show as a joke, and OMGFRICK, that's how she got here...HAHA.

Would you lie/cheat/backstab to win a game?: Doubtful. But I'd be sure to know what's going on with everyone- not for the sake of gossip, but rather for the sake of avoiding annoying people, heh. And knowing when to shut up and ignore their silliness.

If they really piss me off, I can convey it with silence and death looks that scare them more than piss them off. Silence scares people, It's my secret weapon, hehehe....

Are you usually a leader or a follower?: silent leader, in the background in order to stay fairly independent and not get mixed into drama (if that's possible, haha). But I'm there to take over if need be, ie if people are being too big of bums to get anything done, haha....

What's your favorite reality show?: Er, I don't really watch reality TV, too busy reading, writing, studying and keeping up with the latest movies to watch TV, except for Scrubs, of course ;)

Name: Antigone Champeau

Age: 24

Personality: Witty, very intelligent, yet incredibly sarcastic when it comes down to it, she is fiercely independant because all her experiences have forced her to survive, push forward without anybody's help. This is her downfall, and the obstacle for her falling in love because she doesn't trust easily, also, she's very analytical, so she rarely gives in to emotional impulses. She is a fright around her time of the month, because her hormones means she feels out of control. In that sort of situation, she is deadly to be around. She sees people as commodities because she's married to her work, she doesn't form relationships because she knows people can be snatched away as quickly as they come and that they're capable of more bad than good. The only good person in her life is her mother. That said, she's fun to be around, but she'll fight tooth and nail to keep her private life private.

Physical Description: A little above average height, slender, naturally a blonde though she likes to die it a rich brown, green-grey eyes, cat-like.

Occupation: Journalist. Her editor is a megalomaniac, so she'd do anything for a story.

History (I need some sob stories, you'll have more fans!!): Her mother has cancer and neither can afford to get her the latest treatment. Her father having run out on them when he got her mother pregnant. She's only participating on the show for the money, her mother's last braniac idea to win money (after failing with the lottery). Antigone lives in New York, whilst her mother lives in New Jersey, she tries her best to visit but work keeps her away. She feels that she has the smarts to win and get the prize to help her mother. Oh, and she's originally British.

Would you lie/cheat/backstab to win a game?: Initially yes, but I'm sure something will have her change her mind. A boy, maybe! Haha. Then, she'll be brought back to thoughts of her mother and become spine tinglingly 'evil' again. But, 'evil' with good intentions.

Would you ever change your personality on screen to make yourself seem more interesting?: She would be tempted to, but then she would realise that she doesn't need too, people see what they want to see and believe what they want to believe, plus, the television editors will hide and broadcast what they deem is good entertainment without caring what they do to people's reputations.

What type of character would you consider yourself to be, if you ever were to be on a television show (ie a bitch, a villain, a sweetheart, an-under-the-radar player, a piece of eye candy, etc): Hahah, well, depending on whether you need a bitch or not...probably competition to whoever those 'tipped to win' are. I would say a little under-the-radar until the crutial part of the show in which people tend to lash out at one another for the money, etc.

How would you deal with being put in a group with people you just CAN'T tolerate: Read. Read all that I could get my hands on, or just sit in the bathroom for long periods of time by myself to enjoy my own company, or sleep. Sleeping would be good. If it was something like survivor, probably pushing myself into training and keeping fit or making sure my shelter was sturdy.

Are you usually a leader or a follower?: A Follower that becomes a Leader because the original leader isn't doing their job properly.

What's your favorite reality show?: Survivor and The Amazing Race.

Who's your favorite reality TV contestant, and why?: I can't pick somebody specific, but I'd say somebody intelligent with a lot of drive to get what they want. I suppose, someone who was charming, or attractive but didn't flaunt it to get what they wanted. Somebody who can see the situation for what it is and make the most out of it to win. Who sets themself a goal and gets it without fail.
