Hey Guys! Alright, this is my long awaited new story. I am still working on In Her Eyes, but been really busy with life and getting ready to go off to college in 4 weeks and haven't worked on that one much. But I've got some chapters done on this one that I will be posting slowly and I hope you all like it! Here is the Prologue and then chapter 1.


Synopsis: At Maple High School, there is only two things that matter to the school’s students: their groups and sports. In this small California town the social line of the groups in this High School are about to be shaken up and it won’t just shake up the school and the students lives.

Prologue


Maple Hills, California, the smallest town in the state and only 30 minutes away from Los Angeles. The local High School, Maple High, is filled with a variety of students, separated into groups, categorized by what they do and enjoy and status on the chart of popularity. The chart was created when the school opened in 1976-1977 and now the school is going into it’s 30th year and the tradition was still going strong. The Chart is as follows:


1.Jocks aka Rich Boys
2.Fashion Queens aka Rich Girls
3.Cheerleaders/ Dancers
4.Preps
5.Drama Geeks
6.Music Freaks aka Band and Orchestra Geeks
7.Art Freaks
8.Science Geeks


But over the years the kids shortened when they talked about them into 2 major groups, 1-4 on the list are the Populars and 5-8 on the list are the Geeks and Freaks or just G.A.F.’s for short. But the list still stands as is and every year on the first day of school for any incoming Freshman, when they join any club they enjoy or group they find interesting they are immediately categorized 1-8 on the list and they must socialize with those people on the list and no one else.


This has been the schools best kept secret and no one outside of the school or coming in knows about it. The teachers are the only ones who know about it but they brush it off knowing it is schools history and tradition, they don’t want to mess with tradition. So, for years it hasn’t changed until the upcoming 30th anniversary.


The schools new Senior Class is about to change that, they’ve dealt with this tradition for the past 3 years and some of the students are fed up with it and are about to change it. This change isn’t just going to change up this Senior Class and the school, it’s going to change up this town.


This is the story of the 2007 Senior Class of Maple High School and how they are about to turn the town and their lives upside down.

Since the Prolgue just explains some things, I thought I would post ch. 1 too.

Chapter 1


“Good morning Maple Hills! It is the first day of school for everyone and it’s 7 AM and time for you kids to get your asses out of bed and ready for the day. I am DJ AM here to wake you up!” The radio clock blasted next to Elizabeth’s head and she smacked the snooze button and rolled over.


“GET UP! IT’S THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!” Her mom called up the stairs and she groaned and threw her pillow over her head. Just then her cell phone rang and she grabbed it off her bedside table.


“WHAT?!” She screamed into the phone.


“Geez, it’s me Catch.” Her best friend said on the other line, “Would you get up, I’m stopping by your house at 8 to meet up with you to go to school. Don’t forget, we got Drama club meeting after school today.” Catcher said and Elizabeth sat up.


“Shit! I got dance team rehearsal at 4:30! Do you think Drama will get out before then?” Elizabeth asked jumping out of bed and getting some clothes out for the day.


“It probably will. Ms. Tyler knows you and other students got other activities. Plus, it’s only a welcome back to Old members like meeting and discussing what we are doing this year, etc.” Catch said rummaging through her closet on the other end for her outfit for the day.


“Alright, look I got to get in the shower and I will see you when you get here.” Elizabeth said.


“Alright, bye Liz.” Catch said and she hung up and Liz quickly picked out an outfit and ran to her bathroom to jump in the shower.


Not long after she got in did she get interrupted.


“Lizzie! I need the bathroom!” Kimberly her little 5 year old sister called.


“Can’t you use the downstairs bathroom?” Liz yelled back.


“NO! Kevin’s in there!” Kim called back, Kevin was her 10 year old brother. Elizabeth sighed and got out and wrapped a towel around herself and let Kim in.


“Quickly! You’ve got to get to your first day of kindergarten and I’ve got to finish getting ready for school.” Liz said as she started to comb out her wet hair.


“I’m done. Bye!” Kim said finishing and flushing the toilet and walking out.


“Hold up!” Liz called after her sister and Kim came back in, “Wash your hands missy.” Liz said moving so her sister could use the sink. She sighed and washed
her hands.


“Bye Lizzie!” Kim said hugging her around her waist.


“Bye, have fun.” Liz said after her sister. She shut the door and finished her hair and just finished blow drying it when there was a loud pounding on her door.


“LIZ! MY TURN!” Gerard her twin brother said through the door.


They were twins but total opposites on the chart at school, he was a Jock, the quarterback for the football team in the fall and the goalie for the soccer team in the spring, he was also Student Body President. While she was a Drama Geek, always in the school plays and winning many trophies for Dramatic or Humorous interpretation at the Debate team tournaments.

The only thing that she did that could’ve qualified for her to be at a higher part on the chart would be that she was on the dance team along with her friend Parker. They were on only because there were good dancers, the other girls on the team were only concerned with make-up and the newest Prada bag that Paris Hilton was carrying. They all thought they were losers but only accepted them on the team because of their talents. So, even though they were twins at home at school they were complete strangers.


“Fine its all yours!” She said walking out in her towel.


“Eww! Put some clothes on.” Gerard said going into the bathroom and covering his eyes with his hand.


“Love you too!” She called through the door and she stormed off to her room to get ready for the day.

“LEXI! GET YOUR ASS OUT OF BED!” Orlando yelled through the door to his twin sister. He pounded on her bedroom door and she screeched and threw something at the door, most likely a shoe.


“GO AWAY!” She screeched.


“IT’S 7:30 AND WE NEED TO BE AT SCHOOL IN AN HOUR! IT’S THE FIRST DAMN DAY! JUST GET UP!” Orlando yelled one last time and he pounded on the door again.


Finally the door was thrown open and Lexi was standing there with her brown hair wild and she was holding one of her Milano heels.


“Look Orlando, I can get ready in under 30 minutes so I will meet you at school. Take the little brats too elementary school and leave me alone!” Lexi said and she slammed the door in his face.


He rolled his eyes and went downstairs to gather his little brother and sister. He was taking his brother Jack who was 11 to his first day at Middle school and his sister Bridget who was 4 to pre school. Bridget was the accident baby but his parents still loved her same as all their children, but Orlando took special care of her since his parents, like most in town, were barely ever home with their jobs.


Unlike Liz and Gerard these twins were both at the top of the chart, Orlando being under Jocks since he was one of the star soccer players in the spring, but in the fall he had nothing much to do, so he sometimes worked with the fall musical production with the drama club or did stuff with the English club or World Club. He sometimes wished he could hang out with more of the Drama club people but it just wasn’t with the Chart code. The code stated the rules of the chart and rule #2 was hang out with only the people in your area of the chart.


His twin sister Lexi was under the Fashion Queen/ Cheerleader groups, she cared about all her expensive clothing and shopping and was Head of the Cheerleading squad. She loved clothes and the mall and loved being a nasty bitch to all new freshman who came in.


“Come on Jack, we’ve got to go.” Orlando said coming downstairs and taking the PSP out of his little brothers hands.


“Hey!” Jack called at his older brother.


“No more video games on your fist day of Middle School, you don’t need it taken away on the first day.” Orlando said putting it on one of the high shelves in the kitchen.


“But-“ Jack started to protest.


“No. You can take it tomorrow.” Orlando said and then he heard Lexi start blasting her Rascal Flatts CD and he rolled his eyes.


“Alright Bridget, time for preschool.” Orlando said picking her up out of her high chair and carrying her to his silver BMW Z4. Jack got in the back seat and Orlando strapped Bridget in her car seat and then started to drive off when she started crying.


“What?” He turned around to her.


“Bo Bunny!” She cried and Orlando turned off the car and quickly ran inside and grabbed her purple stuffed bunny and ran back out the car and she immediately stopped crying.


He drove off and took them to their schools while thinking about the long first day ahead of him.

Liz looked at herself in her full length mirror at her outfit to make sure everything was good. Wearing her new Kitson jeans and her NY & Co. yellow v-neck t shirt and her yellow ballerina flats, she made sure nothing was uncomfortable for the day. Her main choice in her fashion was comfortable but fashionable, nothing overly flashy but still nice looking.


She heard Catcher’s car horn outside and she grabbed her black messenger bag and her dance team bag and ran down stairs. She grabbed her sunglasses and phone and met Catcher outside.


“So, are we gonna head to Starbucks or what?” Catch asked as she leaned up against her red VW Beatle.


“Yeah, let me get my car keys out first.” Liz said laughing at her as she dug in her bag for her BMW blue mini cooper keys.


“Do you mind moving your car?” Gerard called walking over to his black Mercedes Benz Jeep.


“I do mind. I’ll move in 2 seconds.” Liz called back at him and she noticed the dreamy look on Catch’s face, “Yo, Catch! You ok there?” Liz asked.


“What? Oh yeah, just need some coffee before we start out our senior year.” She said shaking her head and laughing.


“Yeah, I need some too, so lets go.” Liz said and she got in her car and Catcher and her drove one way and Gerard drove another.


This was starting off to be a great Senior year.


A/N: Ok, there were a lot of discriptions in that chapter but it's to give you the feel of the difference between the status on the chart and who is like what and who wears what, etc. Please leae replies!

oh, I don't mind descriptions. I'd rather have a whole lotof them than feeling lost throughout the story, trying to figure out who's what.

I'm liking this so far :). And I really like how Orlando takes care of his younger siblings, I found that adorable!! ^_^

Hey the descriptions really helped me out since I was a bit confused too lol. The chart is almost identical to the cliques at my high school (very small). You were either popular or a geek, no inbetweens lol. I wanted to be a drama geek in high school, but was so shy that I never did. Now I can be one in a story yay!!

Yay! I'm excited to see that you got a chance to post this. :yes: I like the idea behind the chart...of course every school has one in theory but the way it is sort of broken down here is cool. I like how we have the two sets of twins, Liz and Gerry the opposite ends of the charts and then Orlando and Lexi, both popular though it seems he would maybe like to move about on that chart. ^_^ I like the first impression of him, though, he seems quite sweet taking care of the little siblings.

Ohh, and Gerry seems a bit snobbish. Naturally, I love the thought of him being the goalie for soccer...blame it on that movie where he played just that and it was raining and his shirt stuck to his chest and...

Hey, Orlando is on the soccer team, too. I am hoping you will write a nice scene where it rains and they play slow mow with their saturated shirts sticking to their muscled chests...

Interesting beginning, really... I was very curious t find out why the fic was called 'the chart' and I enjoyed the frenzied scurry of activity of the first day of school. Gosh, I'm so happy I'm out of High School!

I know that the tradition of groups is quite popular, and strict, in the USA. We don't have it in here, and it's why it always sounded so strange (and quite horrible) to me. No offense meant, of course, but I've always found it an ugly thing to be forced to blend only within categories!

I'm curious to see how this will progress!

Hey Girls! Alright, here is the new chapter and I am so glad you guys all liked the first chapter. Here are my quotes and then onto the new chapter.

I'm glad you like it, it took me a while to actually get the basic concept of the chart figured out and who would be what, I wanted the couples to be total opposites and that goes for the family relationships too. Even though Orlando and Lexi are in the same spot on the chart, they are total opposites in personality and in the things they enjoy.
Through out the story you will begin to see the barriers break down between the couples and their places on the chart and the family relationships are going to be the same way too. Trust me Drama, Drama, Drama!

Chapter 2


Lexi pulled up to Maple High School in her Yellow Mustang and sighed as she looked at the building.


“Thank God this is my last year here.” She said as she grabbed her Prada oversized bag and threw some of her notebooks in there for the day and fixed her Gucci black heels and walked up to the school.


Every boy was staring at her as usual with her tan legs being showed off in the tight pink mini skirt and her tight white scoop neck shirt showing off her chest. She flipped her light brown curly locks over her shoulder and she saw a few new freshman boys in the parking lot sigh as she walked by. She put her Gucci sunglasses on her head as she got closer to the school and noticed one guy leaning against the giant steps into the school.


“Gerard!” She called with her musical voice.


“Lexi!” he said as she came over and he hugged her and kissed her on the cheek.


“It looks like Hawaii did you good.” He said smirking.


“Yes, it did didn’t it?” She said flirting. The steps was where her and the populars group met everyday. Not far away at the patio with the outdoor tables the G.A.F.’s met everyday and Gerard could see his sister sitting on a table drinking her Vanilla Bean Frappachino and laughing with Johnny, Catcher, and others from their group.


He sighed looking at Catcher, who had over the summer suddenly gotten so beautiful, her red hair was blowing in the light wind and her light green tunic she had on accented her green eyes that morning. When he saw her at his house his breath had caught in his throat, that it took him a minute to yell at Liz to move her car.


“So, how was your summer?” Lexi asked breaking him out of his trance.


“Oh, fine. I spent most of it at Football training and I went down to the beach a lot. Barely ever spent my time at home except for meals and for sleep.” He replied and Lexi laughed.


“Same here. I spent all my time out and about that I was barely ever home.” Lexi said and then she noticed more of their group coming towards them, “Johnathan! Justin! Ana Sophia! Bonnie! Reneeka!” Lexi called waving them over.


“Lexi!” they all called back and they all came over and began talking about their summers and the crazy parties.


“Oh, remember the party at Justin’s house and that Kylah and her G.A.F. groupies crashed the party?” Lexi said and then she noticed her walking across the grounds to the patio, “And speak of the girl now. Look at them they are such losers.” Lexi said and then she noticed Paul Walker sitting with them. He certainly was handsome, but he never noticed her and she knew he would never want to be with her anyway, she wasn’t in his group.


“Hey Kylah! Lose your chemistry set?!” Ana Sophia yelled and everyone laughed.


“Piss off!” Kylah yelled at them and she walked over to the patio with their laughter following behind her.

“God I hate those fucking pricks!” Kylah said coming over to the tables.


“Oh God did the Populars say shit already? It’s only the first day.” Paul said.


“Yup.” Kylah said throwing her books down.


“It’s that Lexi Bloom who controls them.” Liz said and she remembered in Middle and Elementary school when her Lexi use to be friends, that was before they found out about the chart and then everything changed.


“Along with her twin brother Orlando.” Elijah said.


“Wait, he isn’t so bad, if it wasn’t for him we wouldn’t have had that amazing pirate ship for Pirates of Penzance last year.” Catcher said and everyone nodded.


“Ok, so he’s not that bad but your brother is.” Johnny said pointing towards Liz.


“Tell me about it. Try living with him.” Liz said.


“We wish we could help.” Catcher said as she looked over at him and got that dreamy look again.


“Hey Guys!” Parker called walking across the lawn toward the table with her Guitar case and dance team bag in tow.


“Hey Parker! Don’t forget at 7 tonight me, you, and Elijah got the bands practice.” Dom said as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder as she sat down.


“Do you need me and Catcher to rehearse some songs too?” Liz asked.


“Nah, maybe later this week, let us learn some of the new music Elijah wrote first.” Dom said, he was the manager and the bass guitar player of their band “The Code”. Dom named the band after he learned of the damn code that went along with the chart, it was his way of rebelling against the whole thing.


“Alright, I will see you freaks later, I’m off to the Art Studio.” Johnny said and he left with his art portfolio.


“Bye Depp!” They all yelled after him.


“We should all head inside and get to class, we don’t want to be late on our first day.” Liz said.


“Yes we do.” Dom, Elijah, Paul, and Wentworth said and the girls hit them upside their heads, “Fine.” The boys said in unison and they all walked past the Populars as they went in.


“Oh, look at the Geeks and Freaks of the class of 2007!” Bonnie called and the Populars laughed at them.


“We atleast know we’ll be sober when we graduate and won’t fall across the stage when we walk for our diploma!” Catcher said to them as she walked by.


“Wow, nice comeback Drama Geek!” Lexi jeered.


“Come on, lets just leave these bastards and bitches and go inside.” Kylah said and they all started to head in until they heard the screeching of car tires and turned to see Orlando pulling into a parking spot.


“Finally, the great Orlando decided to grace us with his presence.” Justin said and Orlando got out of his car and began running towards the Populars on the steps and Liz felt her breath catch in her throat. God, he was so handsome, he probably won’t ever talk to her again, since the Europe trip this summer with World Travels Club.


“Stop drooling over Orlando, it was just the summer trip, that was it. Drop it at that, you two are never gonna be a couple.” Catch whispered to Liz.


“Sorry and thanks.” Liz whispered back and her whole group went inside.

Orlando was running up to the school and stopped dead in his tracks when he noticed Elizabeth Butler standing at the top of the steps. He felt his chest tighten and his whole body grow warm, she had grown so beautiful in the past year. He had the most amazing time with her on the Europe trip over the summer with the World Travels club and when they got back he meant to call her sometime for a date but he never got around to it, the nagging voice the back of his head kept telling him it was against the code. He shook his head and went over to his friends.


“You finally got the brats dropped off at school.” Lexi said and Orlando glared at her.


“Stop calling them that. How are you guys?” Orlando asked turning away from his sister.


After talking for a little longer they all heard the warning bell ring and they all went inside.


“So Orlando, I was wondering, if you want to go to the first Football game of the season with me Friday night?” Ana Sophia asked him as they started heading to class.


Great, he knew this was coming, she had been planning on being his girlfriend all summer. He overheard Ana Sophia and his sister talking about it one day at their house. It was part of the code that the Populars had to date Populars and Orlando knew she liked him since last year when he kissed her during spin the bottle at Bonnie’s 17th birthday party. Well, he can’t go against the code and it would only be for a little while.


“Sure Ana Sophia, that sounds great.” Orlando said putting on his trademark smile and he ran a hand through his curly hair and she took his hand and they began walking to class.


And so it all begins.

I already love this story so far. I feel like I'm being transported back to HS and it's totally different than my RL experience and I love it! ^_^

Ahaha! I said that every day in high school to those losers. The populars surrounded my locker and made my life miserable in classes and stuff.

Sorry, maybe it's because I'm tired, but I don't get what that means. Maybe I will understand it later. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

OMG....Kat seriously......that is so weird because I actually said that to someone right before graduation when a girl was being a bitch to me. That's really freaky, but kinda cool at the same time.

Why do I have a feeling that you'll be saying that to me when you find out that I like your brother? :P

It was karma.. I know it! I feel it! I'm against the rules of destiny in this story! I'm a non sensitive girl (putting it on a more kind words) and even if I get to have Orlando for a football's night (I'd not mind having him for a footballs night! Damn! I'd not mind having him for just a 5 minutes conversation!) I know it's not meant to be... and then, there's Elijah with his band! Man! Couldn't he be more sexy than that? Call me crazy, but just the thought of a geeky Elijah on a band just, man, makes me lose it!

Hey! I got this chapter finished early and I decided I will post it for you all as an early gift. Here are my quotes first:

Chapter 3


Catcher went to her first period class with Liz, they both had English first period with a brand new teacher.


“Oh great fresh meat. She is so gonna die in this class.” Liz whispered to Catcher as they took seats in the middle of the classroom and noticed who their other classmates were. They had Orlando, Lexi, Ana Sophia, Gerard, Paul, and Dom.


“Hello ladies.” Dom said coming and sitting by them with Paul following behind.


“Hey Dommie!” Liz said jokingly as she hugged him and he sat down in the seat next to her and Catcher sat in the seat on her other side.


“Paul come sit by me.” Catcher said to him and he sat by her.


“So, Catch, you’ve got to come down to the garage later, I finished up that red 1970’s mustang I was working on when we all got back from Europe.” He said smirking.


“Awesome! I can’t wait to see it, that Mustang probably looks amazing.” Catch said and then she noticed Lexi come running across the room to them.


“Did I hear you mention a 1970’s Mustang?” She said to Paul and Catch.


“Yeah, what’s it to you?” Catch asked and Liz looked up from her conversation with Dom at the spat going on next to her.


“I am a huge Mustang fan and-“ Lexi started to say and then she stopped, “I mean, I have a mustang and it sounded like it was a cool old car. It’s not like I’m into cars or anything.” She said and she walked away.


“Ok, that was weird.” Paul said as he stared after her. He had liked Lexi since their freshman year but he never would have a chance with her, especially with her now dating the new guy, Channing Tatum. He was a new student from New York and really good looking. Just then Channing walked into the room and Lexi ran right over to him and he kissed her deeply on the lips.


“Excuse me. None of that in my classroom.” The new teacher said from her desk at them and Lexi and Channing just laughed and went over to where their group was and he sat down in a desk and she sat in his lap.


“God, what a slut.” Catch said to Paul.


“Yeah.” Paul said as he looked down at his hands.


Then the final bell to announce that school had started rung and the new teacher got up and went to the board.


“Hello class.” She said and most of the class kept talking until she ran her fingernails across the blackboard and everyone screeched.


“What the hell?” Gerard yelled.


“Now that I have your attention. Good Morning Seniors, I am Miss Brown your European Literature teacher and I am going to call roll and then we can get started.” Miss Brown said and she started to call roll.


“Alice Adams?” She said and a red head in the back of the room raised her hand, she was on the dance team and really stuck up, her dad was some big writer in Hollywood, so she always got whatever she wanted from her parents, she was a spoiled brat.


“Alexandria Bloom?” Miss Brown called and Lexi raised her hand and went back to talking with Channing, “Excuse me Alexandria, will you please take a seat and not sit on his lap?” Miss Brown said and Catch, Liz, Dom, and Paul looked at each other, she should not have said that. Lexi rolled her eyes and sighed and glared at Miss Brown as she took the empty seat next to Channing.


“Thank you Alexandria. Orlando Bloom?” Miss Brown called and Orlando raised his hand, “ Elizabeth Butler?” She called and Liz raised her hand, “Gerard Butler?” She called and Gerard had to be hit in the head to wake up and then he raised his hand and then put his head back down to sleep, “Ana Sophia Deschamps?” She called and Ana Sophia raised her hand holding her nail file up in the air and then went back to filing her nails. Miss Brown went down the long list, “Dominic Monaghan? Catcher Sheridan? Channing Tatum? Paul Walker?” She called and they all raised their hands and finally she was finished.


“Now, class, you are all going to be in assigned seats.” Miss Brown said and everyone groaned. Catcher looked at Liz and Liz rolled her eyes and mouthed “Damn fresh meat teacher”. Liz got stuck in the back of the classroom with Catcher on her one side and Orlando on her other, Channing sat in front of her and Dom was stuck up front with Lexi on one side and Gerard on the other, behind him was Paul and next to him Ana Sophia and on the other side Alice.


“I feel for poor Paul, he’s got two bitches next to him.” Catcher whispered to Liz.


“At least Dom’s in front of him and thank God we are still together.” Liz said to Catch and she smiled.


“Yeah, thank God for that, but we have jock Orlando by us and new boy toy Channing in front.” Catch whispered.


“They hopefully won’t be that bad.” Liz said and then Channing got a text and he began texting whoever back.


“Now Class, let’s start. On the board is your reading list for this year, please copy the list onto a piece of paper and you need all of these books by the date next to each title.” Miss Brown said and Liz went into her messenger bag for some paper and took out a pen and paper.


“Hey Liz can I borrow some paper?” Orlando asked next to her and she turned toward him surprised.


“You’re talking to me now?” She asked sarcastically.


“Look, I’m-“ He started to say but she cut him off.


“Don’t apologize ok? I know it’s the code and there’s nothing we can do about it. It was just a summer fling, nothing more.” Liz said and she handed him some paper and went back to copying the stuff on the board. He sighed and leaned his head back.


‘Damn! Way to go Bloom.’ he thought to himself. Just then he got a text from Ana Sophia.


Hey! Lexi, Channing, Gerard, and Bonnie r going to the drive-in after school, ya wanna go as a couple? Ana S.


He rolled his eyes and typed back.


Can’t, got Drama Club, maybe some other time. Orli


He sent it and started to finishing writing what was on the board and then she sent him one back.


Oh, yeah, you joined that G.A.F. club soph yr. Oh well, ur loss.


Orlando rolled his eyes and went back to writing the list on the board, why again did he agree to be her boyfriend? Oh yeah, the code. I mean he liked her as a friend but there were days where he hated the code.

Bonnie sat in first period Biology class and was text messaging Ana Sophia while Mr. Varner kept calling roll and explaining the rules of the class. God, she hated science class and wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. But the class wasn’t half bad, she had gorgeous Wentworth in there about 3 seats away, even though he was a G.A.F., he was sexy. He paid every bit of attention to Mr. Varner, that boy was definitely a science freak along with that Kylah Barret. She was also paying way too much attention to the teacher. Elijah Wood was sitting in front of her and had his iPod in his ears and Parker Mason was evidently writing music next to him. Luckily, this class wasn’t all G.A.F.’s Justin, Johnathan, and Reeneka were in there. Justin was asleep listening to his iPod and Johnathan was drooling trying not to fall asleep.


“Reeneka!” Bonnie whispered and Reeneka turned to her breaking away from her mirror and doing her makeup.


“Yeah?” She asked.


“You wanna go to Kingdom Club tonight after your dance team rehearsals? We can pick up dinner on the way.” Bonnie whispered.


“Yeah! Who else is coming?” Reeneka asked.


“Lexi if she can sneak away from the folks, Ana Sophia, and some of the other gang. I am gonna ask the boys if they wanna come.” Bonnie said and Reeneka smiled.


“Always the Association Queen.” Reeneka whispered and Bonnie smiled to herself.


’Yeah, and don’t you forget it.’ she thought to herself.


She smacked Johnathan next to her and he said he would go and then he hit Justin over the head who sat up so fast and screamed “I didn’t do it!” that the whole class stared to look at him. He said he would go and so the Association Queen felt the Senior’s Populars were gonna have their first wild party tonight at the Kingdom club and she never felt so good.


“I love my job.” She said to herself.

Ah, lady, I am sorry I missed two chapters! Much groveling is due.

Okay, to review chapter two...oh, I'm already bristlng over those populars and their pompous attitudes. :yes: Calling out insults and the like....huffs....well, at least there is this...

haha! Take that chemistry set all the way to the bank in the future and who will be laughing then? The part about crashing Justin's party made me giggle.

And, if they only forgot about the chart for a moment...Gerry is checking out Catcher, Lexi wants Paul, and then we have both Liz and Orlando secretly pining away for one another. This summer trip with the two of them sounds pretty amazing. I can picture plenty of romantic things happening with Bloom in a foreign country. le sigh!

Okay, on the chapter three...

I'm sorry, but this made me laugh and choke at the same time. It was just such a typical thing you'd hear a girl say, me included, and even though its slightly out of line it is still hilarious!

Oh, yes...I just barked with laughter. Catcher is a definite firecracker.

You know, there is nothing sexier than a guy who loves science. Or, am I just crazy? ;-)

Ah, I love all of these characters. I can't wait to see how things are going to start evolving and flipping topsy turvy when they see beyond the code and find out who they really are.

Chapter 4


Liz was drastically changing with Parker in the school bathrooms after school for Dance Team. She had to change and then run to Drama Club and then run down to the gym for Dance team rehearsal.


“Have fun at Drama and don’t let prat Orlando get on your nerves ok?” Parker said putting her hand on her friends shoulder.


“I won’t. Cya at practice Parker!” Liz yelled and she ran out of the bathroom and down the halls to Drama Club. Parker finished putting on her red sofie shorts and grabbed her bags and walked out but ran into someone as she walked out of the bathroom.


“Oh I’m sorry!” the guy said as he bent down next to her to help pick up her stuff and she looked over at him to see it was Johnathan Rhys-Meyers.


“No, it’s alright.” Parker said smiling at him and he smiled back.


“Have we met before?” he asked with raised eyebrows and she looked at him dressed in his football practice uniform and laughed.


“Yeah, I’m on dance team, but we’re not supposed to talk. I’m a G.A.F.” Parker said and he smirked.


“Oh, well, it doesn’t hurt to break those damn rules anyway and I don’t see any hall monitors around to punish us if we talk. I’m Johnathan Rhys-Meyers.” He said extending his hand as they got up.


“I’m Parker Mason.” Parker said.


“Nice to meet you Parker. Hey do you want to come to Kingdom Club with me and my friends tonight?” Johnathan asked with a big smiled and Parker blushed, he was really gorgeous and she couldn’t believe he was asking her out tonight!


“I would love to but I can’t. I got a band practice with my friend Dom, it’s his band. Plus, I would get in trouble with hanging out with you and your friends, I’m sure your friends wouldn’t like a G.A.F. hanging around.” Parker said.

Liz ran into the Drama classroom in her tight black dance pants and halter top and slid into a seat next to Catcher but noticed a certain jock across the room staring at her as she came in.


“Orlando won’t stop looking at you!” Catch whispered to Liz.


“Yeah, well, he can stare all he wants.” Liz said and just then the meeting started.


“Alright Welcome new members and Welcome back ole members, I am Ms. Tyler as most of you know and welcome to our first Drama club meeting. Now this year we are doing 4 productions; 2 fall and 2 spring. For our fall productions we have ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and the musical ‘1776’. Our Spring productions are ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and the musical ‘Chicago’.” Ms. Tyler said and all the old members made a fuss because this was the first year that they had done four productions and 2 large musicals and Shakespeare shows at that.


“Now I have already cast ‘Romeo and Juliet’ main parts with my older members who auditioned last week at Orientation and will be holding auditions this week for extra’s and minor roles. ‘Romeo and Juliet’ will be performed on October 25th – 28th. Then after that rehearsals start for ‘1776’ which will be performed in December 10th- 13th. Announcements will be posted about spring musicals when it gets closer to second semester.” Ms. Tyler said and Catch grabbed Liz’s hand nervous about the cast list to be posted for the first play.


“Oh God, I hope I get a good part and not the nurse!” Catch whispered and Liz stifled a laugh.


“You won’t get the nurse, you’re going to get a really good part don’t worry.” Liz whispered.


“That’s easy for you to say, you got Juliet locked in.” Catch whispered back.


“Reeneka’s probably going to get Juliet. She’s been dying to play that role for years.” Liz whispered back as Ms. Tyler told her usual speech about the club.


“Liz would you shut up!” Elijah said leaning over to them, “You got the part, you did way better than her.” Elijah whispered back but before Liz could make another comment Ms. Tyler posted the list on her bulletin board in the front and all the older members ran to the front to the list.


“YES! I’m Lady Capulet!” Catcher yelled coming out of the mob around the board and hugging Liz.


“What part am I?” Liz asked and Catch frowned.


“I forgot to look. Sorry Liz.” Catch said.


“Sweet! I’m Mercutio!” Elijah said coming out of the mob.


“Did you see what part I am?” Liz asked frantically since she couldn’t get through the crowd.


“Opps, forgot.” Elijah said sheepishly and Liz glared at him.


“WHAT?! I’M NOT JULIET!” Reeneka screeched from the front of the crowd, “I’M THE NURSE!!” She yelled and Liz, Catch, and Elijah looked at each other and then back at the group as Reeneka came storming out and then they all 3 laughed.


“Wait, that doesn’t mean….” Liz started to say and then Orlando came up to her.


“Hi, Liz. Congrats on your role, you and I are going to Romeo and Juliet.” He said smiling a little at her and she looked at him shocked as did her two friends.


“Excuse me?” She asked softly not believing her ears.


“You got the role of Juliet.” He said putting his hands on her shoulders and looking her deep in the eyes. She pushed out of his arms and pushed and shoved through the crowd to get to the front of the board and looked at the list.

“Oh Shit.” She muttered and then she laughed and then screamed, “YES! I GOT JULIET!” She yelled and she ran back to her friends and they attacked her in a hug laughing and then she turned to Orlando and hugged him but pulled away quickly, “See you at rehearsal.” She said and she grabbed her stuff and ran out of there down to Dance Practice.


“What did I do?” He asked looking at her as she ran off.


“Two words: Paris, France.” Catch said glaring at him.


“Hey congrats man, but just to let you know she hasn’t forgotten about what happened this summer and what happened in Paris. See you at rehearsal’s.” Elijah said following Catch out and they all left and Orlando ran a hand through his hair.


“Fuck, I’m an ass.” He muttered to himself and he left.

Reeneka glared at Liz as she came running into Dance Team practice. She wanted to kill the little geek, well Liz wasn’t that little only an inch shorter than her. She couldn’t believe she had gotten Juliet! Populars are supposed to get the lead parts in all productions if they are a part of Drama. That was rule # 15! Ms. Tyler knew this and she was supposed to cast the show like the code! Wait, was she starting to rebel against the code like some of the other teachers? She couldn’t! That was against everything this school was built on!


“Alright! Girls gather around!” Ms. Parkinson yelled and all the girls gathered around her, “Now we are going to have a big year this year and next week are try outs and I want all of you there for them unless you have a previous commitment that is school related girls, not hair, nails, or etc. related! Now everyone warm up and then do the ‘Candyman’ routine.” Ms. Parkinson said and the girls split up and Reeneka pushed Liz and she fell to the ground.


“Opps, sorry Juliet.” She said and she gave a fake smile and Liz rolled her eyes and scowled as she got up and Ms. Parkinson put in the new Mandy Moore’s ‘Candy’ to warm up to.


“Just ignore her.” Parker whispered to Liz as they started to warm up, “Congrats on Juliet by the way and sorry you got to kiss that prat Orlando again.” Parker said as they stretched.


“Thanks and it probably won’t be that bad, it’s all acting anyway.” Liz said and Parker laughed.


“Yeah, well the first time you two kissed if I remember that wasn’t acting, when you two were at the Globe in London over the summer and you ironically were watching’ Romeo and Juliet’ there.” Parker said and Liz felt tears sting her eyes and she shook her head.


“Can we not talk about that?” Liz asked.


“Sorry, I forgot you still are hurt after the World Travels trip.” Parker said giving her a sympathetic look.


“It’s alright.” Liz said and they then heard the music stop and got in place for the ‘Candyman’ routine.

Ana Sophia, Lexi, Gerard, Channing, and Gerard were all sitting at a table at the drive in, more like Lexi was sitting on Channing’s lap and making out with him and Gerard and Bonnie were talking about the club tonight. Ana was thinking about Orlando wondering what he was doing, she decided to call him since she was getting bored.


“Hello?” He said answering his phone and she could hear little kids screaming in the background.


“Hey baby! What are you doing?” She asked.


“Just picked my little sister and brother up why?” He asked.


“Oh just curious, I am really bored here at the drive in since Bonnie is planning tonight’s trip to the club and your sister is making out with her boyfriend.” Ana said and she heard Orlando sigh.


“Just like Lexi. Look can I call you back, I got to get these two home and taken care of.” Orlando said and Ana frowned.


“Fine, you are still coming tonight right?” She asked.


“I don’t know, I have to babysit my little brother and sister.” Orlando said.


“Get a sitter! Come on Orli, it’s going to be a blast and loads of dancing and drinking! Well, you won’t drink since we voted you designated driver but there will be plenty of dancing and a private room for all of us that Bonnie is getting. Please come!” Ana said almost begging and he sighed again.


“Fine I’ll get a sitter.” He said and she smiled.


“Great, can you pick me and the rest of the group up around 7, we all want to get some dinner on the way and then head over to the club. We can also celebrate your new role in the play.” Ana said smirking.


“How did you find out?” He asked surprised.


“Reeneka text me about it about 15 minutes ago. Well, you drop those little children off and get them settled and start finding a sitter for them. Cya tonight baby.” Ana said.


“Alright, cya Ana.” Orlando said and he hung up.


‘He is going to be mine after tonight, I will make him like me.’ Ana Sophia thought as she sipped her diet soda.

After Orlando had put Bridget down for her afternoon nap and had gotten Jack to start on his homework he started looking through his mother’s list of babysitters. He called each and everyone of them until the last one on the list, who turned out to be one he was hoping he wouldn’t have to call after today’s weird experience.


“Hello?” Liz asked answering her cell as she got in her car after dance team practice.


“Hi Liz, this is Orlando.” He said and he heard Liz drop her keys in shock.


“Orlando, what are you calling me for?” She asked fumbling trying to find her keys on her car floor.


“I was wondering if you could do me a favor tonight?” He asked.


“What exactly does this favor entail me doing?” She asked suspicious.


“Can you babysit my little brother and sister for the night, until 11 when my mom and my dad should be home.” Orlando asked and she sighed looking at the clock which read 6:00 PM.


“What time do you need me to be there?” She asked.


“6:45 too early?” He asked relieved she had said yes.


“No, that’s fine, I just need to run home and shower and change. Do I need to make Jack and Bridget dinner too?” Liz asked.

“Alright, I’ll be there.” Liz said driving off out of the school parking lot.

“It’s nothing, I like babysitting for Jack and Bridget. They are one of the more well behaved kids I babysit for. Alright, I’ve got to go see you in 45 minutes.” Liz said and she hung up.

Sorry, I was out of town for the past few days, I was just done catching up.

Yeah, I was hoping you guys would like that because this shows the start of the teachers rebellion on the code. Trust me more to the Europe story will come out in bits and pieces but then the whole story will be told in one whole chapter as a flashback from London to Rome when the trip ended. It will take up a whole chapter to explain everything that happened.

You and Jonathan actually are the start of the rebellion within the groups at school. (Orli and Liz started it outside of school) I'm glad you liked being in the band.

Chapter 5


Liz grabbed her keys as she was running out of the house but ran into Gerry on the way out.


“Where are you going?” He asked.


“I’ve got to babysit Bridget and Jack Bloom tonight.” Liz said going to her car as Gerry was about to go inside to shower for the party.


“Oh sweet! Orlando is coming! Awesome!” Gerry said.


“Where are all of you Popular’s going?” Liz asked curious.


“To Kingdom Club for our first big party of the year. Look Liz, when you get home tonight can you cover for me if I’m totally smashed?” Gerry asked and Liz rolled her eyes.


“Fine Gerry, but you owe me.” Liz said as she got in her car mad, she hated seeing her brother come home from wild parties drunk, it was sad and depressing because he never used to be that way.


As she pulled out of her drive way she thought of all the times her and Gerry before High School use to be attached at the hip. Their nickname from Elementary through middle school was Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dumb: Liz Dee, Gerry Dumb. They always hung out and played together and did everything together, they took care of each other when their parents use to fight late at night. They were always there for each other, but times had changed. He was a party boy, the head of their class on the chart practically. She missed her brother, her best friend.


She pulled up to the Bloom house with tears in her eyes thinking back on the old memories. She brushed them away and got out of the car and knocked on the door.


“LEXI HURRY YOUR ASS UP!” Orlando yelled as he ran down to the door and then he opened the door, “Hi, thanks Liz.” He said and she walked right past him.


“It was nothing.” Liz said and he ran a hand through his curly hair.


“Look, my folks should be back around 11, so my mom will pay you when she gets home. I left her a message on her phone to tell her you were babysitting.” Orlando said showing her into the kitchen.


Liz was trying to concentrate on what he was saying but she kept getting distracted by his looks. He was wearing a white button down shirt with dark jeans and grey boots, she could smell his cologne and it was intoxicating just like it was over the summer.


“Liz are you ok?” He asked.


“What? Oh yeah, ummm, no I was just wondering what if your parents don’t come home at 11 like the last time?” Liz asked and Orlando blushed remembering the last time she babysat some weeks ago when his parents never came home from their supposedly late meetings when really he found out later that his mom went to a friends house to talk about her finding his dad cheating on her. They still don’t talk much now to each other since, that’s why they are barely ever home.


“Just call my phone and I will leave and come home. I’m really sorry about that, the last time and you had to stay here until 3 in the morning when we finally came home. It won’t happen again.” Orlando said walking closer to her and they stared at each other for a long time until Lexi interrupted them.


“Are we going to go? The gang will be waiting. We are taking dad’s Explorer to pick them up….” Lexi said walking in and stopping when she saw Liz.


“What is she doing here?” She asked Orlando like Liz wasn’t in the room.


“I’m here to babysit your little brother and sister Lexi. By the way it’s nice to see you too.” Liz said and she pushed past Lexi and went into the living room where she found Bridget and Jack.


“LIZ!” Orlando heard Jack scream as she walked in there.


“You could be a little nicer to her.” Orlando hissed at his sister.


“Orlando, she’s a G.A.F. we aren’t supposed to be nice and associate with them, but you broke those rules by joining their clubs and associating with them all summer.” Lexi said glaring at him.


“Lexi grow the fuck up. Now lets go.” Orlando said and he walked past his sister and headed out to the car, “BYE EVERYONE!” Orlando called and they both left.


“Come play Kingdom Hearts with me Liz!” Jack said pulling Liz through the living room.


“Alright.” She said smiling at him but secretly inside she was wishing she could be at the club.

Bonnie led the whole Popular’s group into the club walking right past the bouncer and into the dark club which was throbbing with the dance music and bodies mashed together dancing on the dance floor. She led everyone past the bar and to a door near the side of the stage and went inside to show everyone to a red velvet room with 5 couches in the room and candles and a little food bar on one wall.


“This room is reserved for us for the whole night. So do whatever you want in here, but if someone else wants to use it, get out. Now Gerry why don’t you go and get some drinks.” Bonnie said and Gerry nodded and went back out to the bar to get drinks.


“Bonnie let’s dance.” Justin said and he took Bonnie’s hand and led her back out to dance.


“Orlando let’s go dance.” Ana said with smile on her face and he smiled back.


“Sure.” He said and they both went back out to the dance floor.


Johnathan and Reeneka sat down on one of the couches and Lexi glared at them.


“Hey once Gerry brings the drinks why don’t the 3 of you leave and let me and Channing have the room for a while?” Lexi said and Johnathan glared at her.


“Already claiming the room for yourself huh?” He said and Lexi rolled her eyes at him.


“You guys can have it later, I get it first since Bonnie left and she usually gets this stuff first but it’s mine turn tonight.” Lexi said and Johnahtan grabbed Reeneka’s hand and left with her just as Gerry came back with drinks.


“I guess we’re all dancing first.” Gerry said as he put the drinks down and left the room shutting the door.


“Finally.” Lexi said and she pushed Channing down on the couch and started to kiss him hard and fast and she straddled him and they began a heated make-out session.

“Alright! That was awesome guys!” Dom said clapping as the band finished practicing down in his basement.


“Sweet, it’s 9 o’clock and I’ve got to head home. See you boys tomorrow!” Parker said and she packed up her guitar and left.


“Alright, so what do you want to do Lij?” Dom asked as Elijah started to unplug his bass guitar.


“I was actually going out to Kingdom Club. I really feel like going to a club tonight to let off some steam off, since it being the first day and all. Do you want to come?” Elijah asked.


“Nah, I don’t feel like going to the club tonight. I think I’ll run over to Catch’s house and discuss the new songs with her.” Dom said and Elijah nodded his head.


“Alright, see ya later Dom.” Elijah said and he packed up his guitar and left.


‘Why the hell is he going to the Popular’s club?’ Dom thought as Elijah left.

Ana and Orlando were dancing really dirty on the crowded dance floor to the song ‘Gold digger’. She was moving her hips against his and he kept his arms wrapped around her waist and they were sweating from the heat of the dance floor and from dancing so close. Ana had already had 2 drinks and was starting to feel a little tipsy. She then suddenly got an idea.


“Hey, you want to go back to the private room?” She asked him over the music.


“Sure.” He said and she led him off the dance floor and knocked on the door and Lexi answered it.


“Have you been in there for the past 3 hours?” Ana asked noticing Lexi had just thrown on her shirt messily.


“Yeah, and your point?” Lexi said and Ana just rolled her eyes.


“Our turn!” Ana said and Lexi grabbed Channing and led him onto the dance floor and Orlando and Ana went into the room. She shut the door as he sat down on one of the couches. She smiled at him and swayed over to him.


“Finally we are alone.” She said and he smiled back.


“Yeah, it’s nice.” He said and she sat down on his lap straddling him and she looked at him.


“Very nice.” She said and she started to kiss him deeply and he started to kiss her back. He put one hand on the back of her head and another on her lower back and she ran her hands through his dark curly locks.


She pushed him down onto the couch and laid on top of him as they started to make out, but this whole moment jarred a memory in the back of Orlando’s mind.


He flipped Ana over so he was on top but he suddenly felt like he was back in a Parisian Hotel room on a large canopy bed with a window open nearby that looked out a Paris and the Eiffel Tower at night and he wasn’t on top of Ana anymore but on top of Liz and kissing her not Ana.


Orlando broke away from Ana and jumped up from the couch with the memory fresh in his mind.


“Orlando what’s wrong?” She asked surprised by this, it was going so well until he jumped off her.


“I- Ana can we just slow this down. I mean we just started going out today, can we just take it a little slower?” He asked giving her a sympathetic look. She looked at him surprised and confused, no guy had ever told her to take it slow, I mean yes she was still a virgin like the rest of the popular girls but she was hoping this would be her first with Orlando. She shook her head and smiled. She got up and walked over to him.


“Yeah, we can take it slow. I’m sorry.” She said and he smiled and leaned down and kissed her softly on the lips.


“Thanks.” He said and she smiled back, he was way too sweet.


“Look, why don’t you rest in here, I’m going to the bar to have another drink. I’ll be back later.” Ana said and he nodded his head.


“Alright, but don’t drink too many more ok?” He said caressing her cheek and she smiled.


“Alright, only 2 more and I’m done for the night.” She said and he rolled his eyes and she left him alone in the room.


She was shocked by this turn in events and how he had suddenly just jumped off her when they were just really getting into a very heated make out session. She walked up to the bar and ordered a Manhattan and noticed a really cut guy next to her at the bar. He was wearing a vintage Beatles t-shirt and faded jeans and black Converse chucks. He had dark brown hair that was spiked and when he turned to look at her he had the most beautiful blue eyes she had ever seen.


“Would you like to take a picture, it would last longer.” The guy said and for some reason he looked familiar but she couldn’t put her finger on it where she knew him from. She started to laugh at his comment and apologized.


“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to stare but I think I know you from somewhere.” Ana said.


“Yeah, we go to school together.” The guy said and she still looked at him confused.


“How come I’ve never seen someone as handsome as you before at school?” She asked flirting with him.


“Because our groups don’t hang out, I’m Elijah Wood a G.A.F.” He said and then her eyes grew wide, now she remembered.


“Oh, well we aren’t at school right now, so I’m guessing we can talk.” She said and he gave her a funny look.


“Right.” He said and he began to drink more of his beer.


“Look, you want to go dance?” Ana asked, since she was letting Orlando rest for a minute.


“I don’t know…” Elijah said looking around at the other Popular’s around and he didn’t want to get his ass kicked by Orlando or somebody. Ana just downed her Manhattan and grabbed his hand.


“Come on.” She said just as ‘Every time we touch’ came on and she began dancing dirty with Elijah who began dancing dirty back, enjoying this. He found her incredibly attractive with her dark brown hair and hazel eyes that almost glowed in the dim light of the club. He pulled her closer against him and began moving his hips against hers and she was surprised by this, he didn’t seem like the dirty dancing type.


About 2 hours later, she was starting to feel the alcohol affect her brain and everything was starting to get hazy. But in the middle of the slow song Elijah said something to her that made her love him.


“You know you are a lot different than most of the other Popular girls, your much more fun and way more beautiful.” He said and she smiled and leaned down and kissed him deeply on the lips and he returned the kiss and she wrapped her arms around his neck to hold herself up, she felt some electric thrill go through her whole body with his touch and kiss. Suddenly she felt someone tugging on the back of her shirt.


“Come on we’re leaving!” Lexi yelled and Ana nodded her head and turned back to Elijah.


“I’ve got to go.” She said and she kissed him one last time and left.


“Wow, that was amazing.” Elijah muttered to himself as he watched Ana and the other Popular’s leave the club and he went to leave smiling the whole drive home.

Liz was sitting on the couch after calling Orlando not too long ago and told him it was 11:30 and his parents still hadn’t come home. She sat there and started to watch the evening news. She was really tired, Bridget had wanted to run around the house half the night and Jack kept wanting her to play video games with her after she had put Bridget to bed. Liz started to feel her eyes droop and she fell asleep.


Liz was standing at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris and she was looking over at the sun setting over the Rhine river and smiled when she felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her waist.


“Isn’t it beautiful?” Orlando whispered in her ear.


“Yes, it’s amazing.” She said and he kissed her neck.


“Not as beautiful as you.” He whispered and she smiled and leaned into him, “Let’s go back to the hotel for some dessert.” He said and she turned around and smiled at him.


“I like the sound of that.” She said and she took his hand and they took the elevator back down and went back to the hotel. They went back to his room and ordered room service, Chee
