SUMMARY: Have you ever thought about how a guy would feel if he was on the receiving end of physical abuse? What if that guy happened to be a famous actor? How would he deal with things then? What would the world have to say about his situation?

The rough edge of the washcloth, combined with the cool water and antibacterial soap, made him wince as he applied it to his busted lip. He checked his reflection in the mirror before walking down the hall toward the kitchen. Once there, he located an ice bag in one of the drawers and filled in with ice from the freezer. Maybe this time he would be able to keep the swelling of his eye to a minimum. It was getting harder and harder to cover up.


"Oh, baby!" she exclaimed from the doorway. She rushed over, leaning over to place a kiss on the knot that was forming at his left temple. "I'm so sorry," she sobbed, tears spilling over onto her cheeks. “I don’t know why I keep doing this. Can you ever forgive me?” She hugged him into her chest. “I love you so much!!!”


“It’s alright,” he whispered. “I should have called to let you know the film schedule had been extended through the weekend. It was my fault.”

Wow, I really like the twist you have with this story. You never hear about guys having trouble with the abuse so this is going to be a unique and intriguing tale. I can already see how Elijah makes excuses for her and has that low self-esteem where he takes the blame on his own shoulders even though she is abusing him.

This is really interesting...please post more soon!

Had to take a short (?) hiatus due to some real life activities, but I'm back now. I will be back with a new chapter for this is a day or two. :D
