Title: Pirates of the Caribbean: at the end of the world

Okay, I think I0m one of the first who had the chance to watch he movie, so I won't comment it in detail because it would be unfair to spoil it to you, in case ou're gonna see it.

But as you do, I'd be interested in hearing your opinion. For now I'll just say I think I enjoyed it, although the plot was a bit comfusing in some parts, and that, despite I watch so many movies that I'm practically always able to guess the end, some choices of the plot surprised me.

That's all for the moment!
:tsk:

ETA: yes, I f****ed up the tittle, it's At the World's End, sorry... I absent-mindedly translated it literally from Italian, but I know the right one. Apologies!

*laughs* that's the first thing I was going to do too ... correct you on the title of the movie ... but yeah ... rough translations do make it different, so you are forgiven. *grins*

I saw the movie last night. I laughed. I cried. I gasped. I was happy and sad. There were parts where I wanted to strangle the writers for their decisions in the movie, but at the end of it all, it was amazing. My cousin thought it was the best one from all three ... and he's picky ... and even though I liked the other two, I really liked this one. It the end of Pirates so it's got that sad note attached to it, but the score is AMAZING and the special effects even better. It's long, and sometimes confusing, but it closes off any unanswered questions from the first two movies (hopefully for you because it did for me). Oh, and remember to stay for the end credits! THERE IS AN END TO THE END! *giggles*

I saw this movie last night at the Midnight showing and it was amazing! I laughed, I cried, I was surprised, and I was upset it had to be the end. I thought it had great effects, brilliant acting, and a wonderful story line (even though it got confusing at times, I still got it in the end).

I have only one thing to say though: I AM IN LOVE WITH WILLIAM TURNER!!
He was so hott, very dark and sexy as a pirate. He just was amazing and surprising me throughtout the whole movie along with Jack and ELizabeth, they all surprised me.

Also for any of you have seen the film you will know what I am talking about: the "boot" scene nearly killed me it was sexy and romantic and then the whole fight scene was hilarious and really romantic at the same time and very funny. I also was surprised, mad, sad, and yet a little happy at the same time with what happened to Will in the end.

But all in all I loved the film and like I already said, I am in love with Will Turner (aka Orlando) all over again and the movie was great, for any pirate fan, Orlando fan, Johnny fan, or Keira fan this is a movie you need to see, they all 3 did a brilliant job and it was a great film. I plan on seeing it over and over again.

OMG!! OMG!! OMG! OMFG!!!

It was amazing! I fell in love and the fell in love again..!! You know? at the middle of the movie I was surprised I was like what the hell??! I mean, when that happened to him (You know, will, the eicky davy jones and the thingy with the tea company)? I feared that we'd lost him in the evilness and then he came back! And the marriage and the ship I was sighing all the way there.. and drooling and a lot!

And the ending...!! I was like no man! No octopus thingy for him! PLEASE! the thing that I fear the most is that, octopus thingy for will.. that'd be awful..!!

And the boot scene.. how can you do that to a single lonely girl? COME ON! that was a killer and then I was thinking that maybe, just maybe, I'd move to London ahahahah. And maybe have a dog? :tsk:

And yes, I missed the after credit thingy.. so I have no other choicec but go to the movies again and watch it.. poor me..

Johnny was amazing, as always! he cracks me out. I was kind of dissapointed by the cameo made by the rolling stone guy.. I didn't like it and he looked like the pirate from Peter Pan..

But man..!!! The ending..!! I still have that on my mind! I'll never be recovered.. Btwn the octopus thingy and the boot scene..

Go and see it! I command you! hahahah

I have waited for this movie to come out for almost a year and it was well worth the wait. Oh my frekain God, I fell in love all over again with Orlando and even Johnny.

I am however a bit shocked at the ending. First Will marries Elizabeth and then look what happened.

And OMG the boot scene....good God I literally stood where I was still and drooled all over the man.

There's an extra scene at the end? Oh crap!

Oh well that means I can go see it again! Muwhaha!

I loved it!

I watched it a week ago. Almost on the first night, yoohoo! ^_^

Loved it. Really loved it! I mean even though it didn't have the magic of the Curse, it was much better than Dead Man's Chest.

For me, the apparent paradox was that to the third movie the character of Sparrow almost, er, wasted itself, whereas Will's was better and better! Though, ok, I may be biased at this point :noangel: Don't black and dark red suit him so much!? Btw, is it just me, or Orlando doesn't look that boyish anymore?

The plotline was gripping. And gotta agree with you, Mena, POTC is one of few movies that sometimes can't be predicted. That's just great!

Er, joining in with the admiration of the boot scene! :cloud#9:

Errr.... I know I sholdn't be too proud of this, but... I finally succeeded in watching this movie! Yay me! Just with a small dealy of 33 days...
Anyway. The movie was good, I agree with Varya, it did not have the magic of the curse, but was much better than Dead Man Chest. What an ending, eh? I must admit that I started fearing for poor Will at a certain point towards the end, but had hoped for the best anyhow, and instead...
And yes! Red and black do something to our Orlando, don't they?

And don't forget the green bandana, hun...

:tsk: the green bandana...

Just a side note: I almost fell off my chair when I saw Keith Richards dressed up a la pirate... impressive, really! He IS Jack's father, I couldn't picture him in a better way. I mean, we all know that he served as inspiration to Johnny Depp to create Jack Sparrow, but watching him on the screen, that was pure divertissment!

I KNOW! I went to watch the movie with my rommie, who is a total ignorant in foreign music, and she knew who he Rolling Stones are (not so granted given she ignored completely that Freddie Mercury is dead, God bless him) but when Keith Richards appeared, she didn't recognize him... later on I was discussing it with her boyfriend, and she asked:

"How does Richard look like without the pirate make up?"

And I thought hard for a se then answered solemnly:

"Pretty much like he does in the movie"

And her boyfriend nodded solemnly!

:lmao: :lmao:
