Title: Knocked up!
Description: Ignore all the pregnancy advise

WhiteAndie - May 9, 2007 08:03 AM (GMT)

Disclaimer:
I know that I'm not the best writer in the world, but I'll really try to finish this one since I'm pretty excited with it and I've been writing a lot so blame me to be excited with this one! ANyway, the same thing as always, sadly, I don't own the actors named on this story and I'm pretty sure that I won't meet them or want them to know that I used them on my story hahaha. The girls used on this story are based on the girls that answered my lovely cast call, I wrote their characters based on what they wrote on the cast call but most of the situations here described came only from my mind. This is PG15 to be sure, if something is over NC17 I'll put a note before the chapter =)

And here's the story.. enjoy and leave little posties because I like them =)

Prologue
Sleep don’t weep.

Sleep, don't weep, my sweet love
My face it's all wet 'cause my day was rough
So do what you must do to find yourself
Wear another shoe, paint my shelves
Those times that I was broke, and you stood strong
I hope I find a place where I feel I belong

It was really late at night and the darkness of the room seemed to be taken out of a thriller movie. He sat in a dark brown comfortable chair facing the windows that view towards Kensington’s park, dressed in dark jeans and a white t-shirt, his arms by his side and the palms against the chair. He saw the car passing by his apartment, the lights shining through the open window. Orlando sighed and a small moan passed his lips, passing his hand over his face he let go another audible sigh. He leaned foward the window and looked to the dark park and the dark green, almost black trees that filled the space. The spring was starting in London and the empty trees now had several small leaves, bringing hope of a warmer and nicer weather to the always cold and rainy city. The apartment was quite fitting with his emotions and his desire of think about what he just lived.

He sat back and reached for his red marlboro cigarettes that lay on the coffee table next to the chair.

“I suppose I should stop smoking.”

He said a loud, adding some seconds later

“Maybe after I find out what I’m going to do”.

Lighting up the temptation, he inhaled long, feeling his head lighter with the nicottine on his system.

Some time passed by and he was still there, sitting, watching the solitude surrounding him and the sleepy city through his open windows. He shook his head with doubt, and took another long puff of his ciggie that was waiting for him in his left hand. Shaking his head, he sighed as if the only thing that would break up his solitude was a distant memory. The distant memory that seemed to have shaken all his life as he knew it.

Running his fingers through his hair, he leaned forward and looked at his naked feet, something that was different from the darkness surrounding him. Something where he could focus in something that wasn’t his life changing thoughts.

“I’m pregnant.”

Sophia said with a quickly voice. Orlando felt how the world crumbed around him. She was infront of him, a Spanish beauty, without a doubt, her pretty hazel eyes clouded with a fog that was clearly an indication of tears to come.

“Are you sure?”

He said with a breaking voice. There was some things that he feared the most, and even if it sounded cliche, this was one of them. She nodded and turned around so her back now was facing Orlando. He felt his legs failing on him, he looked for support in the nearest chair, the dark brown chair facing to the window. Outside, he saw, it was the Kensigton gardens, and the sun and the nice weather invited everyone to go outside and enjoy life. But in that moment, Orlando didn’t see that, he only saw a cloudy day. And he felt his voice cracking.

“Are you sure?”

He asked even if he already knew the answer. She’d not tell him if she wasn’t sure about it.

“I took 4 home test and two blood tests, is it enough to be sure?”

She said sharpily. He listened to her words and the crack on her voice but anything fit in his head. She was an amazing girl, he had a lot of fun with her, friendly and adorable and a great lover, but the two of them didn’t find time in their lives for a relationship, he in the middle of Pirates of the Caribbean, she with her diploma in finance and her job in the marketing firm. And if he didn’t have the time for a relationship, he was pretty sure that he didn’t have the time for a family.

Suddenly a rage filled him in. Negation filled his mind and blurred his thoughts.

“I mean, are you sure it’s..”

He didn’t have to finish the sentence when she turned to see him, the tears now falling freely from her eyes.

“Oh, great! now you’re questioning my integrity? Are you saying that maybe, just maybe I have slept with a lot of guys and I picked out the best of all and give him the news?”

Sophia said angrily, her dark brown hair moving as her head moved along with her sharp words. It was a bad idea, she remembered, she thought about not coming and tell him the news. But she thought he deserved to know the truth, now, she doubted that he would have deserved it.

“I’m just saying, we didn’t date long time.”

He tried to correct his mistake, even if a part of him told him that maybe he was right. How would he know that it was his.

“Oh so I decided to just ruin your life huh? Maybe you think that I found the golden ticket to the monetary freedom and richness. Just take your head out the clouds Bloom! I don’t know if you notice it, but I have a life and a pretty damn good life without you and this doesn’t fit with my short term plans but I deal with it. I knew it was a bad idea, but thank God I can deal with this without you. So just keep with the things you have right now, oh so precious to risk everything up. I don’t need you, and certainly I won’t need you.”

She took her brown jacket and her purse and walked towards the door, her hands trembling with the emotions. The pain inside of her filling and weighting on her heart giving a big, tough pressure on her chest. She had to calm down before exploding in front of him.

“So you just don’t care?”

He said finally, not knowing what he had done or not knowing what was going to happen.

“Oh I care, I really care, but I don’t give a damn fuck about you. And you if don’t care about this, it doesn’t matter to me. I’ll go away and leave you with your precious life and time. Enjoy.”

And with a loud noise she opened and closed the door from his apartment, leaving him speechless, the dark haired boy with dark jeans and white tshirt staring at the door of his apartment.

Running for a second time his fingers through his curly hair, he leaned forward and sighed. Then his cellphone rang. Maybe it was her. He took the cellphone and saw Johnny’s ID number. He sighed and turned it off. He couldn’t deal with anything else by now.

Orlando rolled his eyes and made a gesture with his hands trying to wave away his words. He drew the last puff of his marlboro before letting it die.

“Maybe I do care.”

Orlando started to massage his forehead; seemed to be having a headache, so many thoughts, words and what if’s in his mind. He leaned forward to the window and watched the silent city in front of his eyes. Expecting to find an answer in those lights in the distance.

He wanted to think about it, but his mind suddenly felt frayed and deep and confused. He felt suddenly tired and after he closed the windows in front of him, he walked away from the living to his bedroom, maybe trying to find an answer in his sleep.

Naughty Andie, posting already!!

Okay, who am I kidding? I wasn't expecting it but a new story is exactly what I need amid the finals drama. Now, don't play with my heart and expectations, okay linda? If you don't finish this one, I'm gonna fly to NZ and kick your well shaped little booty!

You know, I like the way you introduce Orlando here... typically selfish male attitude to freak out, and yet it makes perfect sense.

LOL!!! Amen!! But I'm blaming him in Troy. He may have been a wuss, but he's a hot wuss. Plus it's not really his fault, Paris was a wimp in real life lol.

I don't blame you, Orlando is freakin sexy as hell.

YAY!!! the prologue :) sooo happy you posted!!

ok so first of all, I really love your banner it's so cute!

Wow, Orlando certainly didn't handle the situation well... it's kinda normal he's freaking out but he should have realised she's probably feeling so much worse!! Anyhow it certainly looks like it's gonna be a captivating story :)

Can't wait for the next chappie!!

Hey, sissy! Sorry it has taken me a while to reply. I've been in Houston for the past few days and stealing internet time has been rough. But, can I say how excited I was when I saw this posted! The banner is adorable and I just know this story will be amazing. I am happy to hear you are excited and writing like a busy bee...because after reading the first chapter I already need more!!!

To begin, I LOVE the way you set up the background of this chapter...the forlorn figure Orlando makes as he sits, staring outside his apartment. It matched his mood and you used some amazing descriptions. Great job!!!

And, could Orlando have acted any more insensitive??? I swear, when he questioned if it was his, I cringed so bad! I mean, of course he is shocked and freaking out, but that was totally uncalled for. If I was Sophia, I'd of probably slapped him. :D I'm glad she was strong, though.

QUOTE

That's right!!!! If he can't be supportive then you don't need him, baby sis! I loved this line.

Yep, pig-headed Orlando...me thinks he will be regretting this whole scene in the future. But, you know what, Sophia will be gone because she is coming to her sister and I will take care of her!

And, heck, if Orlando shows up maybe I can slap him.

Post more!

Chapter 1
Nothing left to lose

So I packed my car and I headed east
Where I felt your fire and a sweet release
There's a fire in these hills that's coming down
And I don't know much but I found you here
And I can not wait another year
Don't know where you're coming from but you're coming soon

“Are you sure that you want to leave?”

Roxie said as she watched her friend packing her clothes. She didn’t know what to say, she sat down in Sophia’s bed trying to bring the ability of talking, maybe that way the red haired aussie could take the idea out of Sophia’s head.

“There’s nothing else for me here, I can’t do my job, my dad isn’t going to support me anymore since I’m the sinful child that is going to bring a baby out of a marriage life; and I just can’t deal with the thought of being in the same city that the jackass.”

Sophia said simply as she threw some of her clothes to the bed.

“He is barely here anyway..”

Roxie said with a sigh, Sophia turned to see her with sad eyes. She spent the last two days crying her heart out. Things weren’t working as she wanted to. After Orlando giving her his back, she called her parents, some wealthy couple in Madrid and after giving the news, she received a cold shoulder and a lack of interest. *You just ruined your life Sophia and I won’t be there to see how it gets ruined*. So now she had to leave her apartment in kensington because daddy wouldn’t pay for it anymore, and stop studying because there was no reason why to keep studying when she had more important things to think about. But now she was decided. She wanted to have the baby, she didn’t have the heart to just throw it away just because she wasn’t ready. It was her responsability and she was the kind of girl that took her responsabilities quite seriously.

“And you have me!”

The red head cried. Sophia and Roxie met a couple years ago. They met in university when Sophia decided to take some art classes to make her major more art-marketing focused and Roxie took the art classes to perfectionate her already good acting. During the papers they shared together, they recognized in one another, what Sophia lacked in her personality, Roxie had it, and viceversa. They used to joke that they would date if they were lesbians, but they loved men too much to deal with a woman.

“And we’re complicated enough by ourselves!”

Roxie joked. Sophia laughed each time they talked about this, most of the time with Johnny, Roxie’s boy toy.

“If you don’t take care of her, I’ll come one night and steal her from you.”

Sophie would joke and Johnny would rolled his eyes and laughed.

“I don’t think that you’d survive together for more than a couple of hours.”

He would add laughing.

Either way, Sophia considered Roxie her best friend and companion for long years now. And she kept her close to her heart and it hurt the idea of leaving her behind, but she had to do it. She couldn’t deal with being in the same city than him and she have nothing else in London.

“I know I have you. But you are busy with Johnny boy toy to deal with a messy pregnant girlfriend. And Johnny is his friend, I don’t want to be near him. He let me go and I’ll let myself go from him. And I’m pretty sure that you’ll be too busy to deal with an hormonal friend with morning sickness and a balloing stomach.”

She joked. Sophia had this bad habit of joking when she was meant to be serious. But she felt that it was the truth. Roxie had a lot to live and a lot to do and Sophia had to move on to a different kind of life, in a slower pace. She had to move on.

“But where are you going to go? Back to Spain?”

Roxie asked finally. She knew that Sophia didn’t want to talk about it, sicne she barely mentioned her parents. The aussie knew that her parents were quite difficult, always wanting and expecting more of their daughters, and Sophia had accepted it, always giving them more and more: more studies, more professionalism, accepting their words and taking them as it were hers. It was different with Sophia’s sister, Blythe. From what Roxie knew, she got married young with a kiwi lad, and moved to kiwi land where she lived now. She broke up all the rules and just distance from them and their dreams. So they focused on the only child they had left. Sophia. And since they were a really conservative catholics, Roxanne was pretty sure they wouldn’t accept Sophie’s news quite warmly.

“No, Spain is out of question for me. I’m going to surprise Blythe. She is the only one that I have left.”

Sophia sighed. For a second Roxie felt left out. She wanted to be there for Sophia, after all, when Roxie moved out from Australia, a lonely aussie in a stranger, british land, the one that she first met was Sophia, another foreigner in a english speaker land. So she just took the place of a sister and friend at the same time. But Roxanne knew that this time, Sophia had to look after her older sister. And she had to learn how to live with that.

Oh how she hated Orlando in this second. Not only left her friend alone, but pushed her out of her city too. It was too much for her to deal with. And in her mind, she put orlando in her bad guys list.

“So you’re going to that tiny Glenorchy town?”

She asked hiding laugher behind her voice. It was a tiny town, and Sophia was a city girl, what the hell she was going to do there?

“Yeah, I know, it sucks but just for now, I’ll come back, I have London in my blood you know? And you’ll have to go and visit me! You hear me?”

The brunette said with a smile, and hugged her friend with tears behind her eyes.

“Of course I will be there! And while I’m here I’m going to kick that elf ass for the good!”

Suddenly Sophia’s eyes shone. She shook her head.

“No, you won’t. He doesn’t deserve our attention you hear me tiny dancer? You won’t lose any minute on him, you just spend all the seconds in your career and in your boy toy. Not in Orlando.”

But Roxie looked at her confused. How was supposed to be like that? After all, Johnny and Orlando were like best friends and she just couldn’t ignore him all the time. She wanted to kick his ass, that was easier.

“But Mona Lisa! you know I see him almost all the time! He is fucking glued to Johnny, what am I suppose to tell him? Just ignore the fact that he broke up my best friend’s heart? I can’t do that.”

Sophia stopped for a second, her heart ache when she remembered the fact that actually he broke her heart, he denied their child and he, almost literally, called her a slut, liar and gold digger. Something that she never, ever passed her mind.

“No, if he dares to ask you about me, just tell him that I didn’t have the baby. I don’t want him near my baby, he left her go and he lost it.”

“You’re asking me to tell the father that you abort the child? And then break his damn heart?”

The red haired’s green eyes shown with the idea. It was mean and maybe not the brightest idea, but if that made Sophie happy, then she’ll do it.

“Is it too much? Maybe just if he asks you so, but I’m pretty sure he won’t.”

Sophie said sadly and smiled a little bit. The aussie beauty nodded and whispered that she’d do it while she put her arms around her friend and hugged her again, then she turned towards the bed and picked up a sexy blouse that laid lazily on the bed.

“Are you sure that you’ll need this in the tiny town with a growing belly?”

She said smartly, and she won a friendly smack on her head from Sophia.

Come on and we'll sing, like we were free
Push the pedal down watch the world around fly by us
Come on and we'll try, one last time
I'm off the floor one more time to find you
And here we go there's nothing left to choose
And here we go there's nothing left to lose

boehahaha! First to reply this time!

Absolutely lovely...you can tell that Sophia is sad about how things turned out, but she still has this determination that is amazing. A change of scenery might be just what she needs to straighten things out and make plans for the future. Plus, away from Orlando at this very moment might be a good thing.

QUOTE
They used to joke that they would date if they were lesbians, but they loved men too much to deal with a woman.

That made me laugh so much because sometimes it really is true. I love Roxie's character. She seems sweet and wild at the same time. Plus, all mentions of Johnny boy toy made me giggle and nod my head. He SO is.

Oh, and the plot thickens. If Orlando thinks the baby is gone...hmm. This may prove for tricksy situations in the future. And, I love drama! But, I can understand why Sophia would want this. He really did act in a horrible manner.

Aww! That's definitely what friends are for...cheering us when we're down the most. That was a really cute ending to a chapter. It was a great mix of drama and humor, which is hard to accomplish. Good job, sis!

Tiny dancer, Mona Lisa... you know that every single time I hear Elton's song or Matchbox 20's I think about you and Jess?

It amazes me how you can blend drama with funny bits this superb way, it always have... I have tears in my eyes and a second ater I giggle over some funny line... I wish I could do that.

So, Sophia's parents turned their back on her... and I quite get it, although of course I don't approve. I lve in a Catholic country, pretty bond to tradition, and such things happen, here.

But at least she has a sister out there for her, plus Roxanne... and here, I related to Roxie, because I cannot imagine how I'd feel if my best friend would leave, right on a moment when she is so fragile. Gosh, I'd feel so useless, left out and concerned!

Maybe she cannot go and kck the elf's ass with her high-heeled tiny foot, but what about his car? A flat tire never killed anyone, but gives yu some satisfaction! :tsk:

Awesome update linda... and to answer your PM: keep on writing, keep on pushing til you drop, because I learnt from personal experience that when you hesitate and slow down, muses tend to duck and fleet, those vixens!

Yay!! Another chapter!! :)

So... Sophia decided to leave, I really wonder what's in store for her in this town... should be interesting!!

Poor girl though, firs Orlando's shitty reaction and now her parents... At least she has Roxie who's there for her. And Roxie should definitely kick Orlando's ass for what he did to Sophia!! He deserves it!! :box:

Not telling the father she's having the baby... That'll definitely bring some drama...

Great chapter!! :)

Ahh crap I didn't realize you had updated! I'm here, I'm here!

I loved this, I agree with bunny, not telling Orlando she's leaving will definitely cause some drama. But hey drama is what keeps the story rolling.

I also felt bad for Roxie, she's Sophia's real friend and Sophia just decided to pack up her things and move across the world. I'd be a bit sad and upset too if my best friend did that too.

I can't wait to see more :)

You know I love your replies =)

Chapter 2
Leaving on a jet plane

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go.
I'm standing here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say Goodbye
But the dawn is breaking it's early morn
The taxi's waiting he's blowin' his horn
Already I'm so lonesome I could die

Sopia sat on Roxie’s couch, her things were packed and stored and her two bags laid lazily on the floor in the living room. She hold a mug of hot tea in her hands. She liked times like these, in the morning, in the quietness of the house, she could actually hear her thoughts as they weren’t silenced by the noise from outside. These times gave her some peace of mind before she began an usually busy and chaotic day. That day, specially, was more chaotic than busy. She was leaving London, leaving everything behind and she wasn’t regretting it.

It was a beautiful day outside, she could recall it, the sky had a wonderful color and the morning sunlight was flowing into the room through the open window.

“Are you ready Soph?”

Johnny’s voice woke Sophia from her thoughts and she smiled as she saw Roxie and Johnny waiting for her. The brunette nodded and picked up her bag and her coat and stood up from her place where she was sitting, waiting and thinking before.

“I’m going to take your lugagge to the car, ok?”

Roxanne’s boyfriend said as he took the bags and left the girls alone. They were silent for a while until Roxie hugged Sophia for the last time, hugs like that had been pretty typical, and every time they hugged, Sophia wanted to cry all over again, as a reminder of the luck and how her life had been changed in the past few days.

“I just wish you wouldn’t have to go.”

The aussie said sadly and hugged her stronger than before. Sophia felt the tears behind her voice but she made them dissapear, if she started crying she would never stop and she had to move on.

“You’ll just come to see me, and I promise, it won’t be forever, I’ll move to a closer place when I get back to my feet. I can’t be a ranch girl for a long time, you know i have the city lights all over my head! All the time!”

Sophia said with a smile and took the last bag that was over the couch. Roxie knew that it was time to go.

All the way to the airport was silent. Johnny was surprised by Orlando’s behaviour and couldn’t actually believed that he turned his back on Roxie’s friend. True, they didn’t date for a long time, but even so, it was clearly that they had a connection, they were good together, even if they didn’t work by this time, Johnny thought that maybe after they get more mature they’d find the time to be together again.

But Orlando was such a child! He cried aloud, in his mind that’s it. There were certain things that a man could do, he could sleep with a lot of women (why not? If they agree with that, why don’t do it?), he could love his indepence and search for his own life before getting engaged with someone (something that all men, and women, had to do in a certain stage of their lives), but even with all that, a gentleman, has to accept his responsabilities.

And a child! He knew that it wasn’t an easy thing, god how he knew it! He had two children, and he broke up with the mom long ago, and they were his life, even if at first Johnny wasn’t ready for them, it was a look in their eyes to see that they belong together! But Orlando left everything behind for his freedom. Slowly, a part of Johnny disconnected from Orlando. He thought so much more from him that these things.

“I have to be honest with you Soph”

Roxie turned to see him with scared eyes. What he was going to tell her? Please don’t tell her that she is making a mistake, for godsake! I know that the two of you are friends but don’t make me hate you! I love you too much to hate you!

“You’re always honest Johnny boy”

Sophia joked and smiled. As always, she made funny statements when she was afraid of being serious. Johnny smiled and nodded. He loved that girl as a dear friend, and it broke his heart that she had to go.

“I wish you wouldn’t have to go. You’ll be truly missed here, Roxie here will cry her lungs out for you, I predict, so I guess my only chance for surviving is to make several visits to your new place. But, I think I understand why you’re doing this, and I’m sorry that this thing happened, and I apologize for that silly boy, friend of mine I’m ashamed. I have to tell you Mona Lisa, I’m pretty sure he’ll regret his decision, and when that happens, what are you going to do?”

Sophia turned her face towards the window, sighing, the last part of the city was in front of her and she started to see the airport’s buildings. They were near their last destination.

“I don’t know. Honestly, I don’t know. The only thing that I’m pretty sure by now, its that I don’t want to see him. Not anymore, and I don’t want to think about him. And if he asks for me, just don’t tell him where I am. I’ll come back when I’m ready. But not now. Please Johnny, you have to promise me.”

She begged as she looked to her friend from the mirror. Johnny frowned, he was an honest man, he didn’t want to lie.

“But what if he asks me? You know that I’m not good lying.”

And that was true, even if he was an actor, a pretty damn good actor, he couldn’t lie, his eyes let the truth to come out.

“Please Johnny, I beg you to not tell him where I am.”

Sophia was on the edge of crying, again. She slapped herself inside, she had to be stronger than this. Roxie turned to see her boyfriend, he just had to go and do it, they already talked about it, Roxie already asked him to not say a thing about anything. Sophia was their friend and Orlando was the bad guy. He just agreed to stay out of the business. It wasn’t their business after all.

Johnny parked the car and turned to see Sophia who already have a few tears falling from her hazel eyes.

“Don’t worry child, after all, I don’t have any idea of where you’re going to end up. I just know it’s in kiwi land, but that’s all. I won’t lie when I say that I don’t have any idea where you are.”

Sophia smiled and nodded. Johnny sighed and smiled with her. Roxie turned to see him puzzled, he knew that Sophia was heading towards Glenorchy, and for the first time, she was speechless, for the first time in the 2 years that they had been together, he lied, he said a white lie to calm her friend down. Roxie felt a warm feeling inside of her. She smiled and opened the door of the car.

“Let’s do this damn thing right now, if we keep with emotions inside of the car you’ll lose your flight, and as good as it sounds, you’d hate me for it. So let’s go.”

Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe I hate to go*

First reply this time yay!!

Anyways Johnny's right, Orlando's such a big baby in this. he needs to get his head out of his ass and at least help her with money or something or just acknowledge the fact that he is going to be a father. Men I swear, many are pigs. But Johnny's sweet in this, but it's up to him whether he tells Orlando the the truth or not.

I love love love that song, I literally almost squealed when I saw it (If I wasn't at work, I would have)

I loved this chapter, hell I love this story. I can't wait to see more :)

I should know better than reading a story that is packed with emotion like this one while I'm on finals and writing my thesis (read, spazzing out about basically everything) but nooo, you posted and I couldn't resist!

Close friendship between girls are common in stories of this board, and friendship between men too... but seeing a man being friends with a girl, and not just because his girlfriend likes her, but because they share some complicity as human beings, is something slighly rarer. And I LOVE it!

Johnny is a McHero!

I particularly enjoy his candid speeches to Sophia, but also the thoughts he has concerning Orlando: true, a man (or a girl) is free to sleep around as much as he wants, but when it comes to face responsibility, well, that's another kettle of fish (lol, typical British expression that I'm clueless of why I'm using!).

I enjoyed to read that he considered Orlando better than how he is proving to be, and that despite they are friends, he disapproves his actions enough to detach himself from him a bit. It's sad, but friends are there to make us notice our mistakes, too.

I'm SO happy you posted, and damn eager to see little Sophia arrive to NZ!

Ps. if you're posting when Am and I post, well, I'm holding you to this promise... but consider it's two of us versus one, and we've got, like, more than 40 chapters written. So you'd better put on your kickboxing outfit, querida, cuz you'll need some strength to keep the pace, ahahah!!!

Ambrosia - May 15, 2007 02:38 AM (GMT)
Yay! Your muse is being such a beautiful lady and I am super excited she is acting nice and faithful. This means I get more story and today I definitely needed more story. This is such a happy present at the end of the day.

Aw, I love Johnny so much in this! He is concerned, kind, a sweet boyfriend and a supportive, caring friend. What more could a girl ask for...oh yeah, he is dead sexy, too!

It will be hard for him to keep a secret from Orlando but I think Johnny could manage it. Sophia is depending on him and Roxie would probably kick his butt if he spilled it. Although, who knows what the future may hold...

QUOTE

That will be the big question of drama for the story, I bet. When Orlando realizes how stupid he has been...what will Sophia do? Will she be able to forgive? I can't wait to see what happens!

So, now our brave Sophia is leaving on her jet plane. Don't keep us waiting too long to see what the next twist is that you have hiding up your sleeve!

Yeah, I felt inspired by Johnny in this fic. I guess I'm puting him as the perfect, or kind of perfect boyfriend. Lucky Roxie I might add

I love the relationships between boys and girls, a non sexual it is. Its always fun to talk about that with other boys, I feel that sometimes they are more into telling you the truth because they don't actually know how to hide the truth behind sweet lies.

Chapter 3
Someone to watch over me

There's a somebody I'm longin' to see
I hope that he, turns out to be
Someone who'll watch over me

I'm a little lamb who's lost in the wood
I know I could, always be good
To one who'll watch over me

The light brown girl took out the first set of pastries for the morning. It was seven am in the morning and she had to set them ready before opening her cafe and receive the first regulars. The Coffee Hut, as it was called, was a popular, and mostly because it was the only cafe in Glenorchy and a must stop by turists and habitants of the town. Blythe was a master of baking and her coffee was always made with first quality grains and ingredients. It made her happy to know that she was doing something good and that people love the things she did. She was kind of perfectionist that most of her time she spent it trying to make better muffins and cookies and cafe. As boring as it sounds, she didn’t have a lot more to do.

Blythe was lost in the muffins decorations when she heard a knock in the glass’ door. The tall girl frowned, who could be? It was way to early to have Mr. Peterson, one of the senior citizens, for his coffee. Leaving the unfinished muffins in the kitchen she walked over the front door. Blythe saw a girl’s back, with two bags by her side, an a dark brown, shoulder lenght hair. Blythe’s heart started beating faster. When she opened the door, the brunnette turned around and smiled.

“Big sissy!!!”

She said and hugged the very amused girl in front of her. Sophia was her younger sister, and Blythe hadn’t seen her since James two years ago. Yeah, she had missed her and a lot, but when Blythe came to Glenorchy she kind of forgot the life she used to have in Spain, she didn’t like that life, something truly different with Sophia. Blythe knew that Soph loved the glamour and the life of a big city, with fancy dinners and fashionable clubs.

“Sophia? What are you doing here?”

She said aloud, her sister, taking her two lugagges came into the cafe without even asking if she could do it. She was that way most of the time, Sophia was the younger one, the spoiled one, and well, what could Blythe say against that? She used to spoild Sophia and protect her most of the time, something that didn’t really help Sophia to mature.

“I missed you to sissy! Gosh, so this is your cafe huh? It is nice, tiny but nice..! Do I smell like chocolate chip cookies? Me wanna cookies!”

Blythe was still unable to speak. But suddenly she recovered and followed her brunette sister towards the kitchen, Blythe controled a laugh when she saw Sophia’s face lighting up with all the pastries and cakes behind the store. The younger sister walked over the just made cookies and took one, eating it so slowly and enjoying it so much that it was hard to believe that she ever had a chocolate chip cookie before.

“Sophia, what are you doing here?”

Blythe was always looking after the seriousness of the situations, and Sophia always liked to avoid it, but now, she knew that she had to say it, it wasn’t believable to think that she just thought about passing by to see her sister.

Sophia sighed and took another cookie. Blythe rolled her eyes, she knew that look on Sophie’s eyes, she had done something and she ran to find big sister’s protection. It didn’t really matter to her, you know? She was very happy to have her sister with her, but Sophia was kind of annoying when after so many years she still needed Blythe to save her ass.

“I just came to see you..!”

sophia pouted, she really looked like a little child like that. Blythe laughed and took a cup and filled it with hot water to make some tea for Sophia.

“Came to see me my ass! What you’ve done now young lady? You just have to do something really big this time huh? You’d still be in classes by now, but you’re not in school, did you fail all our classes?”

Sophia shook her head and took another bite of her cookie.

“So, did you get fired from your job?”

The brunette, again, shook her head. She took the cup of tea that her big sister offered and sighed. It was going to be really tough to tell Blythe she was pregnant. And not only pregnant, but she was denied by the father, who, by the way, was a really handsome actor who would be disapproved by Bly by just the fact that the actors aren’t trustful people. Sophia let go a groun, she hated when the other people were right and she was wrong.

“So, let me see. You can’t go home because otherwise you’d go there instead of here, and you’re little daddy’s girl so the only thing that could take you down his pedestal is that... Oh my god..!! Oh my fucking god.!!”

Sophia looked down her feet. She already felt ashamed. She hated when she finds out that Blythe knows her too well. She knew that it was kind of difficult to hide the fact that she was pregnant. It’s not like a growing belly is an easy thing to hide from her sister’s eyes. Even though, the tunics and the dresses she loved to wear were easily for hidden assets like that.

Blythe couldn’t stop laughing, she found incredibly funny that the little baby, their parents’ angel fell from their heaven and got pregnant. She was kind of proud of her little sister, it was getting boring to just do the right thing always.

“Oh my god, there are just two things that mama and papa can’t stand: belly rings and you already did that one, so check!, non career women, that’s me check! And pregnant girls out of marriage and that’s you! We’re back on the game darling!”

Sophia couldn’t believe it, Blythe seemed to be happy about her pregnancy. It was unbelievable. She knew that Blythe hated their parents so much. It was understandable, mama and papa Doucet denied to go to their oldest daughter’s wedding because they didn’t agree on the groom. I guess that Blythe never let them forgive what they done to her and now she was proud that they were getting it paid back, all with Sophia.

“You’re just unbelievable! You’re using me to get revenge on mama and papa!”

Sophia cried aloud and moved her head in a dramatic way. Blythe shook her head and kept laughing.

“Oh no baby sister, you made it all alone. And I’m proud of you, you know? It was getting boring. So tell me, who is the father? Someone that parents dearest wouldn’t approve?”

Sophia bit her lip and looked away angry. If it would be her choice there would be no father, it would all happened like a saint conception, no man involved. But even if they were catholic by family, the inmaculate conception was a pretty lame excuse for a pregnancy. No matter how angelic the man could have been.

“There’s no father.”

Sophia said plainly. She hated to lie, but she couldn’t deal with the thought that Orlando was the father. If she could just keep that aside, she’d do this pregnancy alright.

“Come on sisy, I know that you know who is the father, I’m pretty sure that I know you enough to know that you won’t take a lame one night stand, you’re way too self conscious to do that.”

Sophia turned to see her with angry eyes. Oh how she hated that Bly knew her so well! It was practically impossible to lie to her!

“I don’t want to talk about him. He is a prick and an asshole and I don’t need him. I just need a place to be while I get back to my feet. Can I stay with you? I promise it won’t be for a long time.”

Sophia said in a whisper. It was too much for her to beg her sister for assistance in this way. She was begging for a place to stay, she had no where to go. It was pathetic, even for Sophia.

“Of course baby sis! You know you’re welcome. I just have a few rules for you, nothing too difficult to follow..”

Blythe said with a motherly voice. Sophia smiled and felt warm inside. It was good to be back with her sister. She missed her so much in the last years!

“First, I won’t maintain a lazy pregnant ass in my house, and I need help in the coffee house so you have to work with me until you’re too bloated to work again. Deal? I know you’re good with numbers and everything and I might need help with the accounting too. I’m thinking about opening something else. Let’s see if all the money papa dearest invested on you was worth it.”

Sophia screamed in delighted and nodded happily. She ran to hug her sister and jumped around her. Bly started laughing as well and shaking her head. Soph would never change, wouldn’t she? But suddenly her voice got back into the serious voice she had before.

“Second rule, you won’t talk about James. Not a word, not a question, not a thing.”

Sophia stopped jumping around Bly and looked at her strangely. That was weird, when she first met James, Blythe couldn’t stop talking about him, now that he was gone he just became a forbidden talk. Sophia was about to open her mouth when Blythe put her finger in her lips and stopped her.

“Not a word and I won’t ask you more about the father.”

It was a good deal, Sophia thought and nodded. After all, she needed a place to stay and she was her sister. She had to understand.

Suddenly the sisters got interrupted by the sound of knocking on the glass door. Blythe saw the clock in the wall and she cursed.

“You can start by decorating these damn muffins. I have to have them ready for the childcare place by 9 am. And I have to open the shop now, so move and work baby, we’re not in vacations here!”

Sophia sighed, well no one said it was going to be easy, but it could have been worst. So she took the creamy pink icing and started drawing happy faces on the white faced muffins.

Won't you tell him please to put on some speed

Yay for new chapter! Oh, I've been waiting for Blythe to show up and I must tell, she is just bossy and funny and the big sister type that I love!

So, quite a rule these two have, uh? You don't ask about the man who broke my heart and I don't ask about yours.

I must admit that if my sissy lived at the opposite side of the world, and she abruptly waltzed in my coffee shop asking for cookies, I'd nearly have a stroke. But, Blythe's moch cooler than me.

And a smart bird, too, figuring out Sophia's deal so rapidly!

Yay!! She's in Glenorchy!! I love her sister by the way, it's great that she's there for her. And at least she'll have some work to do and that will maybe take her mind off of Orlando a little.

I really wonder the history with James though... seems like there's more to it than Sophia thinks -_-

I loved the chapter and I definitely am hooked on the story :)
Can't wait for the next chapter!!

Okay onto the chapter.........

I love Blythe, it's not even funny. I love how she is so supoortive for Sophia right now. But then again I had a feeling she would be, it's unlikely that Blythe would resent her for it. But then again you never know. I just love her to pieces!

Like I said it's a sister thing, especially if you're the eldest like me. When my sister is hiding something, I can sense it pretty much immediately. And it's so much fun teasing her about it later when it turns out to be something dumb lol.

OMG!! :lmao: I think of my sister like that because she's younger and gets spoiled more. But I can't stop laughing at this part because I'd sooo do that too.

Okay sweets I have to be honest, that made me stop laughing from the previous quote. Whatever James did, Blythe must still be taking it hard or thinking about him. So yeah I understand that she doesn't anyone to know, but come on they're close sisters. They should trust each other not to say anything, but then again what do I know? lol....

Okay sorry to end this, but I am currently running late for work lol. I can't wait to see more :) Great job as always!

Oh hun.. I'll make you proud in this story..! You'll be baking all the time..! (I just had a major inspiration in our izzie :noangel: )

Blythe was always looking after the seriousness of the situations, and Sophia always liked to avoid it, but now, she knew that she had to say it, it wasn’t believable to think that she just thought about passing by to see her sister.

That's what big sis's are for! They have to be the serious ones...they have no choice in the matter.

Iknow.. I'm the oldest one.. I know that!!

I went aww at this part because my sister and I call each other Sissy.  It's a sister thing.

My sister and I call the same way.. Actually that's where I picked that from.. She calls me sis, and since I like to be original I call her sissy hahaha

Sophia looked down her feet. She already felt ashamed. She hated when she finds out that Blythe knows her too well.

Like I said it's a sister thing, especially if you're the eldest like me. When my sister is hiding something, I can sense it pretty much immediately. And it's so much fun teasing her about it later when it turns out to be something dumb lol.

I'm the oldest one too!! And Really, I can sense everything from my sister..! I have a sixth sense for her!

Blythe couldn’t stop laughing, she found incredibly funny that the little baby, their parents’ angel fell from their heaven and got pregnant

OMG!!  I think of my sister like that because she's younger and gets spoiled more. But I can't stop laughing at this part because I'd sooo do that too.

In my case is quite the opposite :noangel:

I must admit that if my sissy lived at the opposite side of the world, and she abruptly waltzed in my coffee shop asking for cookies, I'd nearly have a stroke. But, Blythe's moch cooler than me.

Chapter 4
The curse of being a girl

You pretend that you’re alright;
The worst noise is when you are keeping quiet.
I see you’re not the kind of girl,
Who will dramatise, traumatise.

Scarlett took of her oldest boy and carried the baby on her arms and walked as quickly as the kid could towards the small white and blue house next to the main road. *Childcare center* was printed in a pretty ad in front of the door along with a few kids alike drawings of little people and toys all around it. It wasn’t like they had a lot of choices in Grenorchy, it was the only Childcare center in town and the other available was only in Queenstown, 45 minutes away from the town. Scarlett sighed. At least it was fun that the tiny house took care of all her friend’s kids and it was a perfect way to get the newest gossip in town.

Scarlett was a pretty young woman, early in her 30’s, she was a light brunnette beauty with such amazing green eyes that everyone seemed to notice them at first sight. She was married to the only doctor in town, Ewan Mcgregor, her highschool sweetheart. They had two little boys, Grayson who was now almost 3 and little Chris was 9 months. She never really got ready for motherhood as it took her for surprised that Kenny’s sister, Janie, got into town and put this little childcare center. Now it was all fashionable to come and leave the kids with her while the women go to Blythe’s cafe for a cup of tea and biscuits.

Oh how badly Scarlett wanted to get into the childcare center! She had new juicy news for her friends. She knew that Dei would rolled her eyes at her but she didn’t care. Blythe’s london sister was in town! And pregnant! It was too much! She heard Mrs. Robinson talking about it on the grocery store where she stopped for Chris’ milk . It seemed that Blythe had called Patrick Dempsey, the OB/Gyn from Queenstown (and Ewan’s cousin by the way) to come and look after her sister, Sophia she said. Silently she cursed her husband for not telling her about it.

She finally arrived to the little house and waved to Kenny, with her little girl Nyla on her feet; Deidre was already there with her little boy, looking naughty as always, that boy will be trouble when he gets older, just like his dad Scarlett thought. It was good enough that Cillian was good looking but he was really a toublemaker in highschool, she recalled. But it was fun, anyway. And some other women were already there, but Scarlett didn’t really pay attention to them, they mostly were new in town and newlies weren’t that accepted into the town.

Kenny left Nyla with her aunt and walked over to Scarlett smiling. Kennedy Lewis-Mortensen was a pretty wellington girl that came back to live there with her movie star’s husband Viggo Mortensen. Viggo was on the Lord Of the rings’ movies and he felt in love with the little town, he being a fan from the ranchs and the horses himself, he made a lot of friends in the town because of his modestly and love for the nature. He wasn’t like the other kids in the movie, who even if they were good people, didn’t shared the love for the ranch’s life as much as Viggo did. And they were always looking after new adventures, something that didn’t really bring the peace that the town always needed.

“Hello Scar! Oh my Chris! You get bigger each day, don’t you? Have you heard? I met Mrs. Robinson on my way up here! Blythe’s sister is here! I’ve always wanted to meet her! She seemed such a nice girl from the pictures!”

Kennedy squeezed in delight. She was a bubbly girl, Scarlett thought, but adorable and a faithful friend. She loved her from the very beggining when they walked together with pregnant bellies all around the town. Kennedy had one of the best horses’ ranchs in the zone and she was proud of it. They had really beautiful and strong horses there, some of them ready for competition, but most of the time they were just making for tours and horse riding’s classes.

“I heard she is pregnant. They already called Patrick to come over the town and see her. I guess they are going to ask him to be her doctor.”

They both stopped to sigh for Dr. Patrick Dempsey. A really hot doctor they might admit, in a whisper, away from the noisy ears of their husbands. He came all the way from New York, and they didn’t have any idea why he came to Queenstown following his cousin to this part of the globe. But my, weren’t they grateful for that? Even if It was kind of difficult to be drooling over their ob/gyn though.

Deidre saw the two women talk in the distance. She sighed. She wasn’t really ready to be those kind of women that live only for the kids and gossiping over coffee and bisquits. She was an artist lost in the peaceful town. She found the inspiration here, along with her husband Cillian, a nature’s photographer who lived here before but moved to Dublin to study university and where he met Deidre. They both were pretty known in the world of arts and they had the luck to just choose where to live and still have a job that brought food to their table. Deidre, even if she was really friendly with the other wives in Glenorchy, she was kind of closer to the lonely widow from the Coffee Hut. She was once a wife too, but never into the children and gossiping part of it, she was more like Deidre in a way. At least until he left and then she became a ghost of what she used to be. It hurt Deidre to see that, but she knew that Blythe needed time more than anything.

“So fancy a coffee and biscuits? Maybe we get lucky and get to know this pretty young sister that everyone is talking about!”

Scarlett said happily and nodded. Making signs to Deidre who already left her kid to the blonde, tall teacher she walked over the women that were waiting for her. Deidre’s green eyes shone happily as she walked over her friend’s coffee house, with her dark red hair and pale skin she was one of the most beautiful girl in town and one of the most intellectual and not townish woman too. She was proud of her education and she wanted Finn, her kid, to get both of the worlds: the peaceful childhood of a small town surrounded by beautiful mountains, but as well, the cosmopolita life of a big city, with the different people and the universities that had everything to offer.

The young women arrived to the cafe, already filled with the usuals customers. The pretty brunette was behind the counter and waved and smiled to her friends. Kennedy smiled and ran towards Blythe, too bubbly to hide it. Blythe thought she was adorable, and she used to remember herself with Kennedy. Once she was a bubbly girl just like her and with a thirst for life. But now Blythe didn’t have time for that.

“Bly! Hello! We missed you yesterday! I cooked some lasagna! You should have come!”

Every Thursday they girls met in someone’s place and have a girls night, without kids, just them, chatting (most of the time about kids and how annoying were their husbands), eating and just passing by. In a quite tiny town, those meetings were the excitment for the week.

“I know Kenny, and I’m so sorry, but yesterday was such a busy day for me, my sister got here and I had the child’s center order and then three tours passed by here so it was kinda chaotic, something unusal I guess, so I ended up dead by the end of the day.”

Kenny nodded understanding everything adding the question that was burning inside her.

“So where is your pretty sister? I’ve seen so many pictures of her in your house that I’m ashamed to say that I really want to meet her.”

Classic, Blythe thought, there was just a day since Sophia arrived and she was already making news. But then she laughed inside, when the James thing happened she was all news, and it was really uncomfortable, she just hoped that Sophia was ready for that.

“She is back there, finishing what I hope are the cookies, I’m going to call her if you want me to.”

Kennedy nodded happily and said that it would be fantastic if Sophia could join them from now then, just to introduce her into the town. And then adding with a wink, she said that Cillian’s brother maybe was going to come in town soon too, and he was single and they were about the same age so it’d be awesome if the two of them got together.

”Just to give themselves company, you know how lonely this could get”

*oh no, really?* Blythe laughed so hard inside, they were now pairing her with a new guy.

“Sure!, Soph, there are some people that I’d like you to meet.”

She said with a funny ring in her voice. Sophia came into the front of the store with her dark brown hair in a ponytail, wearing jeans, ballet shoes and a lovely dark tunic. That was way too fashionable for Glenorchy, and made the young women stare with open eyes, with the exception of Deidre who saw her with hopes, at the end, she seemed to be a city girl and Deidre missed the city so much!

“Girls, this is my younger sister Sophia, Sophia, this is Kennedy, Scarlett and Deidre, they’re my friends.”

Sophia smiled, waved and said hi as she was supposed to do. Not showing much attention to the women. She didn’t want to be with married women and children surrounding her. Even if it sounded ironic because she was pregnant.

“Nice to meet you. Blythe had talked about you so much! But, wait a minute, are you Deidre O’Keefe? The Irish artist?”

Dei nodded and smiled, well, this girl had seen the world, no one but Blythe and Viggo knew about her job, Kennedy showed some interest about it, but she was more into horses than paintings, so Deidre got excited by the fact that she recognized her. She was kind of vain at the end of the day.

“Oh my god, it’s such a pleasure! Or...”

She stopped in her tracks, she didn’t want them to know about Orlando..

“Someone I knew loved so much your paintings! He was the one that introduced you to me!”

Blythe stared at her sister. Who was him that she didn’t want to talk about? Maybe he was the father of the baby, she thought, and a conspiracy thought crossed her mind. Smiling she excused herself to get some coffees for her friends and leaving Sophia to answer all the questions they wanted from her.

--
Don’t fold your hands, don’t hold your tongue.
The other girls will try to prove you wrong.
The words will taunt you like a stone.
You can’t stand aside, you can’t resign

Sophia thought that even if they weren’t in the same stage of mind, after all they all were mothers and wives and that was incredibily boring for her, they were nice and attentive with her, and she loved it.

“Viggo agreed with me that you and Blythe should come to meet us in the BBQ we’re doing tomorrow. We’d love to have you there!”

Kennedy said. Sophia stared at her, Viggo? That was an unusual name, she only had heard the name with Orlando. Oh fuckin Orlando! He seemed to be following her steps everywhere she went to!

Blythe arrived with the coffees and a tea for Sophia. She pouted. Tea? She needed her caffeine fix! And a sweet tea wasn’t going to give it to her! She looked over Blythe with questioning eyes. Blythe knew that Sophia loved coffee and she was dying to have a caramel capuchinno since the day before.

“Oh no darling, you shouldn’t be having caffeine if you’re pregnant.”

Blythe said with a sarcastic voice. Sophia stared at her angrily, she was pretty sure that Blythe was enjoying that suddenly the things that she enjoyed were out of her ligue.

“Oh no Soph, you know? You should follow us, we know about it. You should not eat caffeine, or a lot of fat. We can make you a list of what you’re suppose to eat, so you’ll get all healthy for you and your baby!”

Scarlett said with a motherly voice. Sophia turned to see her scared. She was in the middle of the mothers’ association of Glenorchy! She sighed. She was lost, at the end of the 9 months she’d be wearing mom’s jeans and the most exciting thing in her week would be the tea meetings and the play dates in the park. It sucked to be a mother.

The women kept talking about memories of the pregnancy and everything, the only one that didn’t talk about it was Deidre who watched them with sarcasm in her eyes and smoking a cigarette. Sophia was dying to smoke. She had to stop smoking, obviously, if the caffeine was bad enough, the smoke was just plain unforgivable. And she agreed with that, but hell! It was difficult!

Sophia excused herself to go the ladies room, which by the way, led the women to talk about the uncomformities of having to go the bathroom every 5 minutes while pregnant. Deidre excused herself too and followed Sophia to the bathroom.

“You know? Just don’t let them eat you into their life style.”

She said simply, Sophia turned to see her and she was winking, with a happy and joking light in her eyes.

“Some of us came here to look after the peace of the small town, like me, like your sister, and like Viggo and Kennedy. But the others, well, they had been here forever so they’ll take the hardest to just get used to this.”

Sophia nodded and then she was ashamed to ask it, but she had to know. She had to know if Kennedy had something to do with him too.

”I’m ashamed to ask but is Viggo..?”

Deidre turned and nodded smiling.

“Viggo Mortensen, he came to live here with Kennedy. They have a huge ranch that you’re going to go tomorrow and a beautiful girl. He just wanted to escape the reality of a city, I guess. Just like me and Cillian I think that’s why we have so much in common, Kennedy, your sister and me.”

She added with a light of melancholy in her green eyes. Sophia excused herself and went to pee. She was already hating the fact that for every inch of water that she took, she had to go 5 times to the bathroom.

It’s just the curse of being a girl tonight,
You can hardly make it change.
Look around, it’s more than half of the world
Tonight you must go through that same wreath.*

Onto the chapter....

Ok, I forgot to reoly to the last 3 chapters and I am sorry. Please forgive me?

Anyways, great chapters and I loved her finally getting to get to Glenorchy! I love how blythe could practically read her sisters mind and all the wives of the town sound like a riot and hilarious. I can't wait to read more of their gossiping adventures, but my favorite part of the whole thing is this sneaking into the story.

Anyways, great upates and please update soon.

I'm not suprised that you casted McDreamy as the doctor

Great chapter again Andie...keep up the good work :yay:

Mena - May 21, 2007 08:47 AM (GMT)
Ahaha, look at us, all spazzing out and each one loving her character to bits. And how could it be otherwise? I mean, you basically tuned the few info I gave you intp the coolest character ever!!

Let me be selfish and quote a bit and then I'll go back on the story in general:

QUOTE
Deidre was already there with her little boy, looking naughty as always, that boy will be trouble when he gets older, just like his dad Scarlett thought. It was good enough that Cillian was good looking but he was really a toublemaker in highschool, she recalled. But it was fun, anyway.
Ahhh, don't ask me why, but I grinned broadly over this. See; I don' like hyper kids, but it's so great to have a wee troublemakerv for a change. I can totally picture little Finn being the kiwi version of Denny the Menace, and Cillian... *swoons* he's one of my favourite actors and he is so charmin when he plays the bad guy in Red Eye. Plus, I'm totally smitted by he fact the fictional me could win over a troublemaker and keep him on a leash. Yes!

QUOTE
Deidre’s green eyes shone happily as she walked over her friend’s coffee house, with her dark red hair and pale skin she was one of the most beautiful girl in town and one of the most intellectual and not townish woman too. She was proud of her education and she wanted Finn, her kid, to get both of the worlds: the peaceful childhood of a small town surrounded by beautiful mountains, but as well, the cosmopolita life of a big city, with the different people and the universities that had everything to offer.
I went 'awww' when you wrote she is beautiful, and then again when I read she's smart. Sigh, I'm envious of fictional myself!

Now, I nodded in a solemn fashion when I read about Finn's education. See, I read the chapter before leaing this morning but I couldn't reply, and while I was on the train I was thinking about this kid here and how he could be, and, well... it's strange comng from me bt I can identify with Deidre on this one.

And, Sophia knows her work!!!!!!!!

But now, really, bak to the chapter.

*grins* you cast McDreamy as a doctor and I can't call you smartypants? Come on, you got the Grey's bug, admit it baby! But, truly a good batch of hot men for such a small town! I agree with Katie's excitement, look at us, married to droolworthy men, and we're all friends too! (I also atched Moulin Rouge 39 times, and this' gotta say something, I suppose).

But a shiver of caution ran down my spine when I thought about teh combination of Viggo+Orlandp+Sophia. Of course you'd have to insert one of this kind, I mean, unless Johnny spills the guts back in London... we'd need a friend of he jerk, err, the actor to bust our poor Mona Lisa at some point. But still, I went 'oh, damn'. Aha!

AND:

QUOTE
she was more like Deidre in a way. At least until he left and then she became a ghost of what she used to be. It hurt Deidre to see that, but she knew that Blythe needed time more than anything.
a WIDOW? Our Blythe is a widow? Man, I don't think Am has ever been a widown on a story... as long as it's true... I mean, if it is, how come Sophia doesn't know? Anyway, it just hurt me to know... I want Blythe to be ahppy againnnn!!

one last thing:
QUOTE
*Cough* this means that it's your turn now... the forum was pretty boring on the weekend.. I missed storiess..!!
soon, my dear girl, soon!!

And ou ARE a smartypants for kicking finances' a**, there are not many people who can be good in both maths and literary subjects!
