I heart this movie! I've seen it twice, in spite of traveling, finals and finance! Haha...

Basically, it's sensationalized/fictionalize account of Jane Austens interactions with the Irishman Thomas Lefroy (they did actually meet, but most of the plotline itself is wishful thinking). Hathaway and McAvoy have fantastic chemistry, and if this movie doesn't make you tear up numerous times, then I do believe you are a cold, heartless, horrible person (just kidding- well... ;))

Sadly, I don't think it's out in the States just yet. Hurrah again for being in the UK *does the happy dance* Anyhow, see if when you can, I highly recommend it. C'est tres adorable, etc.

ps. The book Becoming Jane Austen isn't bad either, but I'll warn you, it's an actual biography, and there's really only one chapter or so invovling Lefroy (sadly). Hehe...

I CANNOT wait till this comes out in the US! I have watched the trailer at least nine million times. The first time I saw it I squealed so much because:

A) I love Jane Austen and everything that has to do with Jane Austen

B) Finding the trailer coincided with me having a new crush on James McAvoy (since I saw Last King of Scotland) and realizing he would be in a Jane Austen-ish type movie just made my love increase four thousand times more.

I am so glad to hear that you liked it so much. I am beyond excited to see this movie and I think I will be watching it many times, too.

Soooo.... has anyone seen it yet? *laughs*
