I'm sorry but I just can't stand the fact that there are no stories here at all yet! (yeah I know that this board just 'started', but hey, call me impatient ;))

So hereby I'm gonna bore you with some of the very few drabblish kinds things I've written and posted 100 times before already :P



B E A U T Y

Drops of rain against the window, branches sweeping the ground below. The sky is alive, awake, won’t surrender to the sleep - just like me.

You lie beside me – breathing regular, lips curled into a smile, oblivious to the liveliness on the other side of the glass.

Is it me you’re dreaming of?

You are beauty and I cannot tear my eyes away. Watching, looking, mesmerised - discovering things in you I have never seen before.

I crawl closer, seeking the safety only your presence can bring. Breathing your warmth, breathing your scent – you smell of you, of coming home, and you are mine.

Are you real, and not a dream?

Hands reaching, longing to touch, longing to feel the beauty of you. Your skin as silk beneath my fingers, and I cannot help but marvel at the angel that is you.

Eyes flutter open, settle on mine with an intensity I didn’t expect. Soft whispers of devotion leave your lips – but I love you more.

L E A V I N G

The wind is softly blowing, the sea is calmly surging and you’re here to keep me warm. Strong arms around my waist, your chin on my shoulder, fingers entwined – I wish you didn’t have to leave.

A beautiful night, almost as beautiful as you, almost too perfect to say goodbye. But this is the end, and the agonising truth behind that realisation is a harsh contrast with the serenity of tonight.

The world will never be as glorious as it was, the sun will lose its brilliance and the magic of the night will never return.

Because when you leave, my love, all will be cloaked in shadow.

Lost (melting)

I’m smitten, delirious, enthralled – I’m everything I’ve always despised in others, everything I’ve been trying to avoid all my life. All because of his eyes.

When I first saw him, all coherent thought just melted away, melted in the same way I melted in his eyes. Because that’s really all you can do when he looks at you with those smouldering orbs of brown – melting.

I never knew it was possible to be that captivated as I was – and still am. Never knew what it felt like to give up all resistance to just fall, fall into mystery, into love, into infinity.

I can feel the burning of his flaring eyes on my skin this very moment, and I know that when I meet his gaze, I’m lost. Lost again, lost forever, lost because melting alone just isn’t enough.

Eventually I look up at him, meet the fire in his eyes and smile. I’m lost, but nothing has ever felt this right before.

You are poetry

You are a delicate waterfall of words that flows from scrumptious lips into the vast obscurity of my night sky, inconceivable to the shallow mind, yet profound to those whose eyes dare to look beyond the facade of the exterior, and it dazes me how many different ways there are to read you still.


You are light

You are the wielder of the torch of eternal luminosity, illuminating the dark corners that reside within the maze of my soul that only you can find your way through. Shadows fade wherever your radiance emerges and mist unravels instantly by the golden glow that enfolds you as you come and brighten my world.


You are passion

You are the kindler of the internal flame that smoulders deep within my heart, and all that once lay buried and forgotten underneath the thick layer of indifference, you stirred, renewed, breathing life into my slumbering spirit that had almost failed to remember the meaning of fervour.


You are grace

You are the ethereal footsteps of an angel on the softest clouds imaginable, surrounded by an aura of poised elegance that never weakens. All about you, from the twinkling of your eyes to the manner in which you speak, is transcendent and pure and sometimes I believe the Elf has always remained a part of you.


You are mine

Oh, how I adore to whisper those words into the hollow of your ear, to reaffirm the things you are already aware of, just to see that smile, or the glistening of those chocolate orbs that relentlessly pull me into their depths to never let me resurface again. It is where I want to be, sunken into the profundities of your love that live inside your soul, inside your heart.

There where perfection lies.
