So I know it has been forever since I have been on here, and I have pretty much abandoned my writing all together, but I am trying to reform in the new year.
My creative streak decided to try one more run, so I am back behind the steering wheel of the vehicle known as writing. Hopefully I won't total my car this time...

This new story is about a marching band (yes, i'm a band nerd) in the US that is a nationally recognized program. Don't forget that Colorguard (flag) and Majorettes (baton) are also part of the band.
All persons will be in high school, but all of the cast does not need to be in the band. Friends and extras outside of the band actually help the story.

Yes, I play flute or in colorguard.

Style: Jeans with tee shirts with writing on them or nice sweaters or tunic shirts, sometimes skirts black or jean skirts. Lots of nice heels, boots, and Converse in many different colors

Make-up: Basic make-up with light colored eyes so the green/blue in eyes comes out with little blush and always mascara, the make-up line I wear is Rimmel London collection.

What you look for in friends: Kind respectible friends who support you and yet will ahve fun with you and don't lie to you, much. Friends who like most of the same things as me.

What you look for in Boyfriends: Kind, sweet, funny guys. A guy who is a romantic and doesn't care is other people know. A guy who will call you beautiful not hot, a guy who complements you on your hair or eyes sometimes clothes but not you shirt that shows clevage. A guy who will take you out on your first date to a nice resteraunt and then to the park to lay on a blanket under the stars and whisper sweet nothings in your ear. Eyes: Dark blue
Hair: Reddish (but with brown and blond as well). Past her shoulders, but with layers around her face and long bangs that can be pushed/clipped aside if she likes (actually, it's almost exactly like Anna Hathaway's hair in The Devil Wears Prada)
Build: Thin, but feminine (ie. she has hips *gaspity*)
Height: 5'6"
Nationality: Scottish, Swiss, Irish, German... American (fair skin, and not to mention these blasted freckles! haha)

Detailed personality: Absolutely loves literature, music, films- pretty much all of the arts- discussing them, observing them (at museums, etc), and so forth. She's rather intellectual, a writer, but also has a silly side (which mostly comes out when she's amongst friends). Still, she despizes immaturity, espeically in her own behaviour. Rather critical of herself, but only in hopes of improving her character. Generally rather quite and laid back (since she loves to people watch), but occasionally has outbursts of passionate frustration or interest in people's actions, society, culture, etc etc.

Are you in the band, and if yes, what instrument you want to play: I'd rather be in colourguard really. Perhaps she could even be a college student leading the guard (an instructer, rather). That way she could be 21, and have just returned from studying at Oxford (meh hehe...). But only if you want ;)

Style: An odd mix between California and Brittain. She loves dark coloured peat coats and scarves, as well as jeans, Converse, and t-shirts. But she'll also wear blouses/girly-shirts, knee-length shirts ("low is the dress that you made, long to hide your knees" *hums*... :)), and knee-high boots or strappy sandles. She adores pretty things, but hates clothes shopping, so usually only owns a few, choice clothing items.

Make-up: Sticks to greys and browns for eye shadow, in order to accentuate her eyes, as well as mascara. She doesn't wear blush (because she doesn't need it), but does wear a bit of powder (because her nose is shiny; stupid nose). Lip liner and chapstick are usual, as well as lip gloss when she can remember it.

What you look for in Boyfriends: All the things she looks for in friends, as well as kindness/compassion and the nerve to stick with the relationship even when things get difficult (because they always do). Also, she tends to go for rather scrawny-looking guys, who are actually quite a bit stronger than they look, taller than her. Uber points if they play guitar and love kids *nods* (Hah, by the way, it's not like she doesn't look for compassion in her friends. Didn't mean to make it sound that way, haha)

Detailed personality: smart. And I mean SMART. Witty, sarcastic. Do you ever watched Smallville? Lex Luthor? That's me baby... besides the bald head. Same taste for expensive stuff, same education, sarcasm, verbal ability... and same care for my friends. Oky, amybe we could say I got some more than Lex Luthor! Very protective towards my friends then. :)

Are you in the band, and if yes, what instrument you want to play: I'm not in a band, it has something about showing off I am not very comfortable with. :) But I dig music, and I'm sure I could be of some help on jam sessions, as a sound mixer or audio tech... not THE whizkid, but I can get a mixer working.

Style: Well, it depends. I can range from blue jeans to a cocktail outfit with the blink of an eye. But you'll never find me in anything too large and laid back, like a sweater: yes, I like elegant and feminine clothes, without showing too much, of course! But a low-cut shirt or a good mini skirt are always fine. I wear a lot of dark colors, black and liliac and grey, together with white... but someday I could turn up in a pink tank top like it was no big deal!

Make-up: Use a lot, expecially on my eyes... I like it to be always perfect: foundation, eyeshadow, mascara. To say at least. ;)

What you look for in friends: fidelity, reliability, intellingence... basically I love my friends to be geeks with some good wit. Since I'm renewed for my razorblade tongue, I like my friends to keep up with my smart remarks. And I appreciate them to be a little on the wild side, because I'm not and I need a belt hop... although I'd complain about it all the time! And most of all, a friend should always be there for you, and they should share your passions or at least don't make you feel ashamed of them.

What you look for in Boyfriends: see above, basically. I'm afraid I'm the serious relationship kind of girl. Not the kind who cannot wait to start a family, but, despite I like flirting, and all kinds of verbal judo, right because I'm always long-winded I tend to share a lot of myself with a man after little time I know him, and of cours this to me means emotional involvement! Oh, and the good looks are not esential, but would be fine! But most of all he needs to be honest and smart, and possibly have a passion.

Fears: Failure. I'm lazy like Hell, so failure is always aound the corner for me, because I never resolve to do things on time. So I suppose I fear guilt, too. On more mundane basis, I don't like horses and dogs.

Flaws: Lazyness above all.. although I'm physically fit, I hate exercise! I smoke and drink and eat junk food, sleep in, and I have the annoying tendency of remember ANY line of any movie I see, book I read and song I listen to, and throw tem in conversations. I can turn into a true geek sometimes! Oh, and I watch horror movies, splatter movies and TV shows about doctors (like House, rey's, etc..) while I'm eating. Yep, I can look deep through a surgery operation while I eat tomato spaghetti without blinking. My friends always wanna hurl at the end. :)

Likes: Besides watching splatter stuff while I eat? Well, music I suppose (got an iPod... pink mini, for the record), movies, and literature. And my jobs, too!! When I graduated I couldn't find a full time job that afforded me to live in whatever city this story is settled in, so I took tow part time jobs that have nothing to do with each other: at morning I teach English literature in high school, on afternoons I'm a training nurse at the local hospital. Yes, I'm multi-tasking. Oh and on weekends I give a hand at the guys of the recording studios... as long as I can get seven hours of sleep every night. :) Oh, and I drive a black Corvette NOBODY can touch. :)

Dislikes: Well, sports, and people who have narrow dreams and a narrow mind. I don't like feeling pressured and criticized, besides that, I'm pretty tolerant. If you wanna drive me crazy, wake me up too eary, deny me my morning coffee and my cigarettes, an you'll unleash the ueen of bitchy answers, who can quote Shakespeare and make it sound like an insult. :)

Random: Uhm... born in Lafayette, Louisiana, moved all the way up to Chicago to graduate at the Northwestern University (so now I can handle both cold and hot weather, no big deal), I'm an only child, but my dad is on his second marriage. I have half a zillion connections in the music industry, but I never say. Like, it could turn out I've been to seven Aerosmith concerts and I'm friends with Alicia Keys, but I'd rather help my friends secretly that admit it. :)

Detailed physical description: Glaringly bright red hair (dyed) that goes to my shoulders. 5'6", tan complexion, curvy body. Light brown eyes. No tattoos and two earrings in each ear.

Detailed personality: Bubbly, loves to talk and babble to anyone. Sort of wears herself out from trying to be in too many clubs/extra-curricular activites, plus competitively trying to be at the head of the class. Sometimes feels as though she hangs out with everyone, she still doesn't have that one special friend she can rely on. A bad home life makes her want to stay away and be involved in things at school as much as possible. This is why she never wants to bring anyone home with her and always keeps people at arm's length from her.

Are you in the band, and if yes, what instrument you want to play: I want to be a majorette and twirl batons.

Style: I love pink, any type of high-heels, and glitter. I love being girly and wearing frilly dresses or skirts. I always have jewelry on, lots of bracelets but no rings.

Make-up: Mostly eye makeup...I love purple eyeliner and sparkly violet eyeshadow. Mascara is a must. Rarely ever wear lipstick.

Name: Roseanna Reilly

Age: I'm 22, but 16-17 for the fic

Detailed physical description: 5 feet tall (sadly no inches), dancer's build, long red hair that kinda waves, kinda curls, grey-green eyes that are sometimes a little blue. Really pale skin but no freckles. Long legs, but as I said before, really tiny build.

Detailed personality: A little crazy, a little neurotic, a little eccentric. I can be really shy when I first meet people but once I open up to them they generally find that I'm a nut. I tend to not think before I speak, and I can be a little vague as to what exactly is happening around me at times. If anyone's gonna say anything stupid and then be really embarassed by it, it's gonna be me. I'm really driven though and can occasionally be a bit of a diva, and if I want something then goddammit, I'll get it!

Are you in the band, and if yes, what instrument you want to play: I was in the school band in high school and I played the flute, but I also sing and dance, so if you want me in one of the other squads then it's up to you!

Style: I'm a total fashionista, so I wear everything! Seriously, I love clothes, and will wear anything that is seen in a magazine.

Make-up: Pretty basic - foundation, black mascara and lipgloss for daily wear, I'll add red lipstick and usually charcoal eyeshadow if I'm going out. I prefer to make a statement with my clothes.
