As I'm now back on this site and I've been itching to start writing again I think it's finally time to find a cast for an idea that has been with me for a little while now.
Now, I'm not looking for a huge cast like I did in previous stories, as it proved difficult. But I'm looking for a group of perhaps 6 women to take part in this.

This is a vampire story, I'm not giving away any more than that as everything will all become apparant at a later date

Personality Description: Shy and insecure. But passionate about who she is and what she does. Doesn't have much of a social life, only goes out at night (if you make me a vampire) with her group of friends including her guy. If a human, she is bookwormish and is always planning ahead. If a human, she is a teacher, but has been a fan of vampires since her older brother forced her to watch Dracula when she was a little girl. She rarely has a social life and usually is being dragged out by her boyfriend which is good for a distraction. She is passionate and doesn't take criticism well at all (same if I am a vampire). She is not a violent person, but can be if needed. She knows how to fight and is not afraid to teach a lesson in ass kicking, but not in front of children. She wants children so bad.

Physical Description: Short much like a hobbit at 5 ft 2 with curly brown or red hair that she hates so she straightens it a lot. She has big blue eyes that sparkle when she smiles/laughs. She is also curvy, but not big, she's about average weight (150ish pounds). She thinks she's a tad bit fat at times, but knows that she is fine the way she is.

Background:

If I am chosen to be the human/doctor/scientist: I was born Lynn Nicole Karny to Michael and Shannon Karny and had an older brother named Adam. Adam was like usual older brother, protective, but immature. Her parents were both drug addicts whom often were sought out for money they owed from gambling debts etc etc. One day they get killed in front of myself and Adam with the killers telling us that our parents were in hell along with vampires (yeah dumb killers), but that is how I was introduced to vampires. At age 5. We had no living relatives at the time and put into foster care. Until the Sheridan's.

Adam and I went to live with our neighbors whom Adam had a friend around his age. Tom and Katie Sheridan welcomed into their family with open arms and adopted them as soon as they could renaming Adam, James Thomas Sheridan, but Jamie for short (Adam chose the name). I chose Avery Lynn-Marie Sheridan after Katie's favorite name for me, Lynn after my biological grandma who died, Marie which is Katie's middle name and Sheridan. Tom and Katie (ahahaha can't help, but think Cruise and Holmes, but they are not.) already had two other children, Liam (who is the little boy Jamie spent time with and told his parents what happened) and Jonathan, whom both loved the fact that they had an younger sister to look after and play with.

So I graduated from Columbia University with a degree in whatever my occupation is with a minor in English Literature because of my love of vampires. Dracula is my favorite, but is curious if they were any female vampires.

Sorry so long, but this explains how Avery acts.

If I am a vampire I was born Avery Maria Sheridan in 1750 to parents whom died at the hand of warriors during the French and Indian War. When they died, I was sent to live with my mom's brother Paul Revere in Boston with his wife and six children. When I turned 23 years old, I met and fell in love with a fellow Bostonian named Thomas (yes I like that name) Butler. He was a Son of Liberty (we're in 1773 when the British began taxing the colonists) and fought heavily to get rid of the British by any means. When we were engaged to be married, he told me that he was a vampire and I soon decided to be with him and become one myself. We lived in isolation away from everything and during the Battle of Lexington, the British open fired and shot him. The soldier whom shot him realized he was not dying and held up his cross and that is what killed him. When I found out, I soon became depressed and never came out of hiding. No one knew where I was, not even my uncle. I just recently came out of hiding and traveled around the world and just made Scotland my home.

Personality Description: Incredibly quiet and perseptive around people she doesn't know. Very hard to read- on purpose- because there's always a million things giong on in her head that she doesn't exactly feel like letting everyone know about. However, when in a safe situation she can ramble like no other (about ideas, frustrations, etc). She also has a terrible time keeping secrets (though gernerally only her own). Quick wit, but horribly sensative (to what others say to her, as well as how things that are said may affect others). Empathetic, but not always sympathetic. Fiercely loyal to those she loves, but wary of anyone who has yet to earn her full trust. And so on...

Physical Description: dark blue eyes (a sort of greyish-blue; greenish when she's angry). Red hair, but with brown and blonde in it as well- long and wavy/curly. Average height (about 5'6"), thin, but with a feminine build (ie. hips, but not in an unfortunate way, if you get what I'm saying *laughs*). Fair shin (and these blasted freckles!). Background: Depends on if she's a vampire or not I suppose. I've been reading Mrs Dalloway lately, so let's say- if she's a vampire- she was born just post Victorian era (like Virginia Wolf). Born in America, but grew up in Britain (except for a few short years spent in Germany). Actually, that last bit can work for whichever part (where she was born, grew up, etc). Her family seemed nothing exceptional, but had a history of mental illness (kept quiet of course) that feeds her sensativity (and temper, hah).

Interests: She absolutely loves literature. All art forms really (music, film, theatre, painting, literature, architecture... not so much sculpture though, hmm...). Facinated by people, and loves to people watch (a habit which is helpful in her... writing, poetry, painting- whichever- you choose :)).

Guy: Christian Bale

Secrets and/or Weaknesses: Well, there's the metal illness thing with her family, and her temper, which I've already mentioned. And the fact that she's hard to get close to (nevermind that she desperately and deeply loves all that she lets in and, of course, she wants to let in those who spark her interest. Personality Description: As a human or vampire I am sweet and kind and caring but if you piss me off enough I can get deadly literally and will hurt someone badly. I am caring about those close to me and who I love and if anyone hurts them be prepared for revenge. I lvoe to sing and dance and I am goood at acting so I can sneak around and act like someone else for spying very well. I also am a lover, I love being in love. I also am handy with a sword or gun in desperate times.

Physical Description: I am 5 feet 5 inches, tan yet pale skin, skinny yet curvy in the hips but have a nice 6 pack from combat. I have long just past the shoulder length wavy/curly dark brown hair and green/blue eyes (they change color with the seasons spring and fall green, summer/winter blue). I also have a tattoo on my ankle of an Irish knot around a celtic cross.

Background: Vampire: I was a young girl living in Ireland when I fell in love with a mysterious man named Harry who turned out to be a vampire, he bit me and turned me into one. He died soon after turning me into a vampire, but it was a hunter that killed him, but spared me because I was just a child then. I never truly loved Harry and he never loved me just wanted me for fresh blood and I blame him for my curse of being a vampire but after about 200 years I've gotten use to it and have been an orphan for years. My parents died soon after I turned into a vampire because the clan Harry was with killed them in revenge for him dying and they shuned me from their clan. I hope to meet a vampire or man I can fall in love with and marry and have children with and maybe be loved for once. I hope to find friends with the vampires, Ireland doesn't have very many.

Human: I am facinated with Vampires and have been years and I studied them in college and now am a Vampire advocate and I try to help them and save them and becoming friends with them without them turning me into one, but if I do, I would be happy with it. Here I am! First of all, I love researching for fics, really, it's not a burden at all, so if you need help I m here, ready and glad. Plus I love vampire stories, i read many, so I can easily brainstorm on plots. :yes:

Age: 26 years old, if human, or about 500 years old if I'm a vampire. This means I'm qute powerful, but I won't dare to cross the path of the 'ancient' ones.

Role: A vampire would be great, or a Scientist. I also enjoy Medicine, but I'm a bookworm, so anything related to meds, or history would be amazing.


Personality Description: I'm not a leader, but I'm just the perfect sidekick, seriously: I am very helpful, expecially when I'm inetersted in something, I dive head-down in it. I am not too confident in myself, even though I learnt to hide it. Thi means I play it rough, and I often break out in bitter remarks and I'm very sarcastic. I'm not the first to jump into action, and I might look aloof and selfish for this. But my friends mean the world to me, and I'm always there to provide comfort and words of wisdom, but I'm not a warm, touchy person. So, don't look for hugs from me! I am fascinated by mystery and questions, I could go on for hours researching, learning and talking and discussing stuff. I'm very creative, and mind my appearence quite a lot, you'll never find me out of my perfect shape, although i hate to exercise.

Background: Okay, if I'm human, I come from Chicago, I attended the Northwestern university for a minor (foreign languages or history and law, you chose) and then majored at the MGU of Moscow. I speak English, Russian and French fluently. I lost my parents when I was too young to remember, and I was raised my my uncle and aunt, Alex and Pam. I am very attached to my cousin, Cameron, he's sweet sixteen now. I travel a lot, and this made me a cigarette and chocolate covered coffee beans addicted... you can always see me rummaging in my pocket for those babies. if I'm a vampire, I was born in a small village in Ireland in the middle of the 1600, and travelled to London not to starve to death. There I worked in a pub in South London, I was poorly educated at that time. I didn't have many friends, but there was one man that I met, he was a rogue writer named Christopher Marlowe... that's right, the writer! We were lovers, and I worked in the tavern where he was killed. i was there, I saw. After his death, i had nobody left to take care of me (I was too old to get married, around 25, and in the Elizabethan Englad it's way too late), so i seekd death, and found the vampires. William Shakespeare named his Hamlet's Ophelia after me, we spoke occasionally since he was friends with Marlowe.

Background: If Vampire: Miranda was a simple girl with two loving parents until an elegant man named Michael Ericson came into her life. They had a torrid affair until she found out that he was a vampire…but by that point it was too late and she was bitten by him. She soon became disillusioned with the human world and hid for about a couple of years until it was time for her to find her place in the world. She soon found out that the man who bit her was dead at the hands of some attackers when he bit one of that town’s young girls. She is now traveling around the world trying to find a new home.

If Human: Miranda was born in England but was soon moved to a small town in Illinois at the age of two. She soon realized that there were Vampires all over the United States and that some of them were actually good! She then went on a crusade to give the good vampires rights of their own since they have social stigmas against them. But she soon hit a snag when some evil vampires killed her family and friends. So with the help of her boyfriend named Buster Giannam (who is a good vampire by the way)…she avenged her parents and friends.

Weaknesses: Amazingly she really doesn’t have any normal “vampire” weakness (meaning she is immune to the sunlight, garlic (She hates it when they wave the smelly stuff at her though!), crosses and holy water)…but she does hate morons who get in her way and unclean blood (Yea, she still has to drink blood but amazingly she only has to drink blood 3 to 5 times per year!)

If Human:
Secrets: She actually wants to turn into a vampire…because she thinks that being human is overrated sometimes…but she would never tell her boyfriend because he doesn’t want to see her turned into one because he’s afraid something bad will happen to her. Other than that, she likes any classic teenybopper music (meaning from mid 80’s till late 90’s bubblegum music) and craves an occasional yogurt with the classic hotdog dressings (Catsup, mustard and relish. I kid you not my mom used to like this before I was born!)
Weaknesses: Hmm, she hates it when people are overprotected of her….because she feels smothered and useless! She is actually a bit sensitive to garlic, but not enough for people to assume that she is a vampire. She doesn’t like chocolate that much…it makes her throw up. Finally she hates it when people think she isn’t worth anything!

Personality Description: Vampire: a solitary vampire who does not like to interact with others. She is fascinated by humans and only kills the evil doer. She is intelligent, has many degrees and likes to observe the world. The few friends mean everything to her and she will hunt anyone down who tries to hurt them. She belongs to the more ancient ones and avoids all the youngsters, thinking them to be to loud and obvious. She has never made a vampire but the loneliness is making her slowly reconsider this. She is courageous and confident but not someone who will take the lead in a group. She has her own plans and she will only change them for a good reason. Mostly she is an observer who just watches and only comes into action if she things it is really needed. She loves movies, literature and art. She dislikes people who come looking for her to be made a vampire, superficial people and most other vampires.

Human; she is working for a publisher and has studied literature. All her life she has been fascinated by vampires and she knows quite a bit about them. She has a group of good friends around her who often drag her out of her house to have some fun and who want her to find a boyfriend. She is rather shy and not someone who takes the lead, deep inside she find life a bit dull and wishes that something more interesting would happen, she is intrigued by myths and other fantastical stories, she can be rather sarcastic but she is always there for her friends, she is a good listener and usually has some advice to spare for those who need it. She likes to daydream and in her free time she liked to write and dance.

Physical Description: 5'5 long, short black hair, pale skin with some freckles, green eyes, weight; normal (sorry I cannot figure out the metric system). I only wear black, red and purple colours. My clothing style is gothic (you know baggy jeans, long dresses, velvet fabrics, thight tops and capes). I love gloves and I always wear a silver pentagram. I have one tattoo; on my upper left arm, resembling a flame.

As beta I am there to help you out and I cannot do that by playing nice all the time. If something is badly written I will tell you that. Background vampire; I was born in Venice 1348 years ago. I was turned when I was just 20 years old. My twin brother and I were travelling through the mountains in a coach when we were ambused at night by a group of vampires. He was destined to be the next lord of a large estate. This estate had been abandoned for over a hundred years but now it had come back into the possesion of the family by inheritance. The vampires who lived there were not happy with this and set out to kill him, never expecting me. They kept me locked up for 6 months and when they knew everyone presumed me to be dead they turned me. For 300 years I lived quite happily with them. But the times were changing and one by one the vampires I had become to regard as family were killed. I travelled through europe, found love, lost it again, met other vampires who were an overall agresive and rather sorry bunch. For a long time I had no permanent living space. I travelled and tought myself by reading every book in the libraries I came across. By the time I was a thousand years old I travelled to New Orleans in the new world and took up residence there. The year was 1700 and the world was about to change.

I fell in love with a mortal man and for a time we were lovers until he found out what I was. I left New Orleans and have lived in New York now for almost 200 hundred years. I have some human and vampire friends who I see occasionally. I spend most of my days with writing books and publishing them under several fake names. I love going to the opera, the theatre and the cinema and of course to hunt for those who do evil. Blood is still important though I can go days without having to drink it. I can fly, move small objects with my mind and read other peoples minds.

Background human; Living together with her 3 year younger brother in an rather big and old house. Their parents died when she was 18 and he 15. She inherited the house they lived in and she has been taking care of her brother ever since that day. She has a group of friends around her who love her and take her out from time to time. She had a boyfriend years ago and she isn't really looking for a guy in her life. She is quite happy with the life she is leading; busy with her work, her writing, her dance classes, her brother and friends. Sometimes she feels this urge for something exciting to happen in her life but she never has tried to make that happen.

I'm very happy with the cast otherwise I would have left this open for like a week, the reason I was so quick with this as I'm very keen on getting started up with this as soon as possible. As some of you may have seen today I started up a thread in the lads section for this. I've got the Prologue already written up but it may be a few days before I post it.
