When I used to write, I had the habit to introduce chapters with songs that had inspired me to write a specific part of the chapter itself. Sometimes I liked to use Italian songs in order to have them highlighted also to a non Italian audience.
The band I'm introducing now, as my lazy bum hasn't produced a scrap of decent writing in ages and the only way to promote them would be to use this section, is one of my favourite ones at the moment, and here in Italy are pretty renowned, although being very young in the music environment.
Negramaro come from the Italian Southern region called Puglia and they played what I'd describe as alternative/indy music.
Their breakthrough hit is "Mentre tutto scorre" song they presented at the Sanremo Music Festival last year.
I saw them playing live and believe me! It's pure energy.
If I were you I'd give them a chance.
