Has anyone seen it?
I have, and I must say I was quite disappointed as it turned tou to be nothing it was so hyped to be. People went completely mad for its release, and its not even that good.
The start is tedious, and Lex Luther's new madness to try and defeat Superman is laughable, and not in the least unexpected, ie.its very predictable.
Superman has a son from Lois Lane, whcih I think, to be honest, is your typical Walt Disney sequel to any movie they make.

Special effects are superb, and I think the plot lets this concept down big time.

And, don't get me started on Brandon Routh!
(Compare these: user posted image this is Routh without make up. And this is Superman: user posted image(And this is he with his ten layers of foundation cream)
Gosh, the man has been airbrushed all the way through! Superman falls in water at some point in the movie, and he spend what seems to be an entire lifetime under water!
Anyway, he comes up still clad in ten layers of foundation cream, or whatever they use, and a perfect hairstyle after it dries.
Lois Lane jumps in the water after Superman in a prom dress style gown and swims in it. Yes, swims in it, with intentions to save Superman!
I mean doesn't a true heroine rip her dress and then swim?

Maybe I'm being to hard and critical, and very unappreciative, but I'm sticking Reeves' acting and plot movies, bless his soul.
(Look, somebody had already compared them graphically: user posted image

I have not seen the film and don't intend to because I ama fan of the originals and I don't think this one looks all that great, plus I think Kate Bosworth is too young for Lois Lane if she is going to have a 5 year old child with the man and in the orginals she was supposed to be like what 30 and Kat looks 22 or 23? I mean she is a pretty good actress but not for this role. So, yeah, I ahve no desire to see it.

Such good advice to those who are yet to see it. I could have used this before.
I totally agree about the Lois Lane-ness, yeah.

I saw it and twice but not because I chose it ...

I didn't like it, even though I thought it'd be worst..

Please someone explain me how they managed to have a kid, and still, if you add some glasses you don't recognize him? I think that the kid is what brought down the movie. I liked better the ol' superman, the flirting, the mystery and no children between...

(And I liked better Louis' fiance than Superman... I wish she'd have a kid with the fiance than with superman...)

And my gosh, the cliche of the woman in the bad guy's group.. Come on..!!! Why there's always a dumb woman with the bad guys and an intelligent with tht good ones?? Couldn't be for once the opposite... that'd be interesting...

And that's my rant...

It's entertaining but don't expect oscar nominations for this..

(And I was serious... could someone explain me in which moment of the story of Superman they spent the night together? And why, oh why, she is so blind to not recognize her lover with glasses..!!!!!!!!)
