Ok, I am probably setting myself up here for either being cheered :yay: for or hit with a brick ro tomatoes :tom: for saying this and doing this.

I saw Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and loved it! It went way past my expectations. It was funny, had more action, a great story line, and just a great movie. I will get into more detail once others have started putting in their 2 cents.

So, I want to know what you all thought of the sequel. Tell me and the rest of us on this board what you thought.

I just got back from seeing this movie myself and I got only 2 words for it.......

HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved it, even my 75 year old Grams loved it. She loves Johnny so much now, but me :love: is for Orlando once again. I loved it, so much action and it was more funny than the first one.

Oh bugger...lol...

As for the ending, well I won't give anything away, but I will say this...your mouth will drop...

And we'll have to wait another bloody year to see what happens!!! Hope it goes by fast.

Katie, I agree with your review! Orlando was making me :drool: and :faint: esp. during one specific scene with his dad taht had me crying and drooling over a not so Disney moment. I am so gald you liked it.

I loved the movie! i thought it was wicked! and I'm really glad that you guys liked it becuase all my friends who I went to see it with hated it! *cries* anyway yeah. so I'm heaps excited and can't wait to see it again!

And also, while I'm here, becuase this looked like the best place to put it, if anyone is interested, and from Australia, I've started a petition to try and get an official premiere for pirates 3 when it comes out. so i'd love for any of oyu to sign it if you're interested! and spread the word!

DYING to see it!!

Couldn't help but seeing this...you are perfectly allowed to give your oppinion but please keep it nice!

:lol: I loved Johnny... And not only for his looks (in that field, I'll always like Orlando in this movie) just because he is an awesome actor! He really filled me up the expectations... For Orlando, well, Orlando is Orlando and he was awesome all tanned and with the messy hair. With Kiera, I like her character and I don't believe she was an easy girl, I didn't get the last thing she did but it took several minutes to realize what she did... And it was ok, after all... And she fights soo awesome..!

For the plot, I didn't like it that much, I needed to ask several times to my cousin next to me who already saw the movie about somethings that I didn't understand (and the fact that they spoke english funny and I didn't speak english funny... didn't help a lot)

But the effects... my, they were awesome, I really liked them so much! Even if I don't like sea animals and seeing them just made me kind of sick, it was the reality in which they were made that was really awesome.
