Description: Joint: LacedNBlue, Felonaz, & Celandine

LacedNBlue - May 26, 2006 04:21 AM (GMT)
Title: Time Share

Author: Cristina (LacedNBlue) and Fi (Felonaz)

Rating: PG13 and R with :18-combo: NC-17 attachment.

**For explicit sexual nature, but all in good taste.**

Genre: Romance

Disclaimer: This is all my idea so please don't take it! The characters aren't all mine but they are from my co-author so please don't take those either. Thank you.

Other Words: We will be posting the banner at the top of every chapter to show who's POV it is. Also, since we are working on it in slight RPG format, the chapter will most likely be color-coded to suit the person that wrote it. If it turns to NC-17 rating we will post a warning in front of the chapter, but I promise it is all in good taste, detailed, but in good taste. *gasps* I mean.... :noangel:

More Words: We have come to terms that Lici is gracefully backing out before we continue. But no fear, Fi and I are still here! We have also, as many of you may have noticed, closed the cast call. We are very sorry, but we have found that it will be easier for Fi and myself if we did that. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience.

**I had asked two people to make me banners. One never gave, and the other did. Babe, I love the way yours came out, and I know I said that I lost my touch, but this *points up* is what came to be at the wee hours of the morning. I give thee, the proof that my creativeness flows strong between that of 1 to 6 AM. Thank you for putting your time into them, and I hope it doesn't bother you that I use my own.**

Dear Diary,

Today is August 4, 2006.

I know I haven’t written much this summer, but it’s been quit a trip. I came back from my second year off at college, to my family telling me they got this cabin up at some lake. I think my sister mentioned Park City, Utah, but I could’ve very well been mistaken. Anywho, this meant ditching my hot summer plans for some colder summer plans. Who the hell goes up north for the summer? I wanted to tan, go to the beach, and soak it up at the theme parks, but no, of course not. I had to go with my family. I had to go on a trip that we hadn’t taken in six years, now. Hooray for me. Can’t you note the sarcasm? Good, I was hoping you could. I remember writing a similar entry the day I got home from college, and now I’m writing again, at the end of it all, when I’m back in the summer heat. The heat that I claimed, at the beginning of this summer, that I would miss so dearly. It’s August now, and it’s hot as hell, but I’m wishing I was still in Utah. I wish I was still crammed inside that amazing 7 bedroom cabin with nothing to do, but soak in the Jacuzzi, or sit in front of the fire with a good book, or just sit in front of the fire with my laptop, writing away since there was no internet or even cable. Wait, better yet, I wish I was still in Utah with Drake, doing all the things we did. Funny how things turn out huh?

XO,

Brooke Taylor

I'm soooo excited for this!!!

I like how it starts out at the end of it all, where she totally wants to go back with Jake (is it Jake or Drake? ). Nice foreshadowing, Cris.

Now, bring on the new one (chapter)!

Its nice to see you back in "town", Crissy.

Samma

Celandine - May 26, 2006 04:30 AM (GMT)
Oh, the irony of it all. :shine:

I'm excited for this too. :sneaky:

*hands the torch to Fi* You're the other main author, lol, have a blast. Henry Andrew shall waltz in later.

LacedNBlue - May 26, 2006 04:30 AM (GMT)
Crap! I swear I had fixed it in word...*grumbles*...well it's fixed now. teehee

Awwww thanks babe! I'm glad to be back *nods fast* and with some new stuff too. ;)

Yes...who'll be next...*arches brow*...Lici? Fi? Lici? Hmmmm *laughs evilly*

Sammi - May 26, 2006 04:34 AM (GMT)
Hehe. We're all allowed slip-ups, right? Geez, where would I be if we weren't? DEAD, thats where.

Sweet. The "An Irish Party in Third Class" from the Titanic soundtrack is playing! I love this song/scene! I remember Rose's toe stunt being awesome and quite the challenge!

Okay, I don't care who writes, as long as somebody does!

*starts to make some popcorn and grabs DP for her and Lici... and anyone else who decides to beg  *

LacedNBlue - May 26, 2006 04:35 AM (GMT)
It seems that Fi just went to bed when I posted...*glares at her*

Oh oh oh! May I have a DP? *bats eyelashes*

Felonaz - May 28, 2006 05:01 AM (GMT)
Sorry this took so long, I've been really busy (just ask Cris)! ^_^

Chapter One

You know what I've discovered? Alarms suck. A lot. Mucho de suckage = alarms. I have currently reached this decision on a Saturday morning, when, like all normal college kids, I should be sleeping. I mean, it's only nine o'clock! But no, this college kid is now going to vacation in Utah, and he has to drag his lazy ass out of bed. I've finally come home from a hellish year away at university, and now I've been informed, that, in my absence, they've decided that it would be such a great idea to rent a cottage in Utah, of all places (what the fuck? Utah?), and spend the summer there. Did my parents think to ask what I was planning on doing this summer? No, of course not. Actually, if they had, I wouldn't really be able to give them a proper reason why we shouldn't (it's not like I've thought far enough ahead to actually make plans, but what if I had?), but still. It's the same principle.

Groaning, I fling back the covers, giving my alarm a death-glare. Stupid little contraption. I pad over to my bathroom and splash some water on my face. Examining my reflection in the mirror, I grin ruefully, running my hands over my suddenly hairless head. You see, last night, I wnt to a party, and lost a bet. We don't have to go into details about said bet, but the fact of the matter is that I lost, and I had to shave my head. There are huge dark circles under my eyes, and my mouth tastes like vomit. Getting blind drunk isn't always the most fun idea to have, let me tell you something. I turn on the water, and shed what little clothing I fell asleep in. Stepping into the shower, I duck my head under the spray and close my eyes. After about ten minutes, I realize that I had actually fallen asleep standing in my shower, and begin to lather up. I might as well be clean for this ridiculous trip. Who know's when the next time I'll be able to have a shower will be?

I sigh and turn off the water, wrapping a towel around my waist. Slowly getting dressed, I rub my throbbing head, wishing there was some kind of quick-fix for hangovers. Every time I do it, I swear that I won’t the next time. The next time, I’ll volunteer to be the designated driver, or I’ll only have one beer. But it never works. I always get hammered. I pass my hand over my eyes one more time, wishing I was still in bed, asleep.

"Drake!" my mother screeches up the stairs. Why? Why did she do this to me?

I plod down the stairs, trying to make it extremely obvious that I really don't want to be doing this, to be greeted with the sight of my mom and my dad, arm in arm, beaming as their little prodegy appears. I wish they wouldn't do this to me. I mean, sure, okay, so they're first generation immigrants from Martinique, but it's not like I didn't spend my entire childhood surrounded by preppy white kids. My mom nearly had a heart attack when I was accepted into Yale. Of course, I didn't go there (we couldn't afford it), but I somehow managed to get a full ride scholarship to go to George Washington University in DC. It's my third summer home from uni, and they're still as weepy and grin-y as they were when I went off for the first time. What is wrong with them? It's not like they never went to college or anything. My parents are crazy.

"All packed, love?" my mom asks, her accent very slight now, after so many years learning English in night school.

"Oui, mamman." I reply, trying to remind her that yes, I actually spoke French.

"Then let's go!" my dad said jovially, his startling white teeth breaking through his dark beard. Now, my dad is black, and my mom is white, but they both had French as their first language. They met in night school, when they came from Martinique in their teens. Becoming friends, they somehow managed to get in to the same college, and then ended up marrying, having me, their only nest egg. Which is all fine and dandy, until you realize that they expect me to carry on the traditions of Africa, France, and Martinique around my Anglo-European friends. Let's just say that elementary school was pretty painful.

We all crammed into my parents tiny car (they think that by driving this ugly little rust-bucket, we're saving the environment) and begin our journey. I sighed and pulled out my Ipod and the book I bought at the train station. This was looking to be a loooooooong ride.

LacedNBlue - May 28, 2006 05:24 AM (GMT)
EEEEE! *tackles you* Yes, you've been preeety busy...gosh...he sounds hot...

LacedNBlue - May 28, 2006 05:54 AM (GMT)
KK, as soon as we get our lovely banners, we'll be posting them along with the chappies...hopefully we'll have them soon. And I also just noticed I said he sounds hot, but I've realized that...DUH...I know what he looks like and he IS hot...teehee...just thought I'd share. Anywho...without anymroe setbacks....I give thee

Chapter Two: user posted image

I groan as I feel my bed shake and open my eyes, rubbing at them when they begin to burn.

“You said ten sharp.”

I roll my eyes and shove Andrew off the bed, “Yeah, well Kally kept me up until three, wanting my opinion on what clothes to take.”

I turn to face him and move over, so I’m against the wall and lift my covers up, smiling softly when he slips underneath them and wrap his arm around my waist. Smiling, I let the sheets fall and cuddle into him. I feel myself begin to doze in the comfort of his warm body, but am pulled out of my thoughts when I hear someone screech at the doorway of my bedroom. I look up and sigh, seeing Audrey staring at us with wide eyes. I lean over Andrew and grab a shoe, throwing it in the direction of the door.

“Ah, better.” I state when the force of the shoe closes the door. I place my head against his chest and sigh, knowing that in two seconds I’ll hear my na –

“BROOKE TAYLOR COLE,” The voice of my mother. God. With a sigh, I move over him and slip out of the warmth of my bed and clamor down the stairs and into the kitchen.

“Yes mom?” I yawn sleepily.

“Sweetheart, what have I told you about letting Andrew –“

“Mom, we’re friends, and we share an apartment in college. If anything were to happen between us, I’m sorry, but we wouldn’t be desperate enough to do it in a house full of crazy kids between the age ranges of four to eighteen.”

She sighs in her “what happened to my baby” sigh and turns to finish making breakfast. I return upstairs and into my bedroom and close the door, pressing my back against it. I turn to face Andrew and smile softly, “You are the reason I’m not going to turn into one of them this summer. Thanks for coming with me babe.”

I smile, leaning over and kissing his lips quickly like we always did, and walk into my bathroom, quickly turning on the shower head and stepping inside for my allotted five minutes.

“Brooke! Andrew!”

I groan again as I step out of the bathroom in a towel, and arch my brow at Andrew.

“They’re not going to let us live this summer, I swear.” I say and begin drying my body, not seeming to notice that I’m still in the same room as my best friend.

Once I’m fully dressed in a jean skirt and tank top, we make our way downstairs to see breakfast. I grin in his direction and point to “his” chair. We eat quickly and quietly, because otherwise it would be a nut house. See, I, Brooke Taylor Cole, am the oldest of five. So, with five children, Andrew as an added child (which makes six), and two parents, all under one roof equals for a nut house, and that’s not counting our two kittens, three puppies, two labs, four parakeets, ten fish, and one rabbit. Yes. It’s like a damn farm. That reminds me! We do live on a farm, for living in Orlando, Florida. People are surprised when they hear that there’s actually some type of countryside in Orlando, but there is, and we live in it. Goody.

“Let’s go!” Daymien, my seven year old brother, squeals excitedly, tugging on my arm.

I nod and quickly take hold of Andrew’s. Daymien, being the protective squirt that he is, gives Andrew a death glare which just causes him to laugh. I grin and lean down, kissing Daymien on the nose and watch as he releases my hand and runs out the front door, screaming something about cooties. I turn to face Andrew and smirk, giving him a playful wink, and wrap my arm around his waist.

“Utah,” he breathes as we sit in the back, way back seat of my parents’ new toy, the 2006 Lincoln Navigator.

I place my head on his shoulders and sigh with him, “Utah.”

 I do love bilingual men.

And I love the relationship between Brooke and Andrew (though it could serve as somewhat threatening if either had significant others *cough*). I like that they're comfortable to cuddle in bed and give familial kisses. Soooo sweet!

You guys are posting like jackrabbits!

...

I LIKE IT!!! So, when is dear Lici posting? Well, I don't give a damn so long as someone posts. :)

Okay, so how do you want to color-code things? Cris'll be light blue, I'll be green and Licia can be ... purple? red? dark blue? Should we post all three banners in the beginning of each post? Does Licia know about the forum?

LacedNBlue - May 29, 2006 09:22 PM (GMT)
You ask so many questions, my child. :tehee:

1. how do you want to color-code things? Cris'll be light blue, I'll be green and Licia can be ... purple? red? dark blue?

This works.

Cristina: dodgerblue

Fiona: green

Alicia: [yet to be determined]

2. Should we post all three banners in the beginning of each post?

Yes, as soon as we get them. [I'm not hurrying you up babe...*smiles*]

3. Does Licia know about the forum?

No, not yet, but as soon as I get to talk to her I will tell her. Then she can catch up. *smirks*

I'm back I'm back I'm back and I had an AWESOME time in LA, woot woot. I ended up seeing X3 in the Grauman's Chinese theater (yep, the one by the Walk of Fame and that has the famous people's handprints and signatures and stuff), the movie was alright but the theater was freaking awesome...very fancy schmancy. I also visited the La Brea Tar Pits. Cool, but ugly, gooey, and stinky. ^_^

Great job on the chapters, gals, I am much excited. Hopefully I'll have my chapter up tomorrow (you guys update like the wind, I am ze tortoise in this race, lol). And forum wha? Know about it whozawhatsit? *confused* I guess I'll find out from you guys, haha.

Oh, and sorry to dissapoint, but all of my (Andrew's) chapters shall be ix-nay on the ut-smay. Ergo, my chapters will be PG13 at most. So if you're under 17, you'll be safe reading things from Andrew's POV (you will be very confused though! *snickers*).

*hugs for everyone*

Okay, so we're trying out a new format here, please bear with us.
So, Cris (Brooke) is going to be this color and I (Drake) will be this color. Just so people aren't too confused, and to make things easier on us, because constantly writing "XYZ's POV" is annoying. ^_^
Unfortunately, Licia has suddenly realized that biting off more than you can chew is not conducive to sleeping and generally being sane, so we will (with great sadness) be saying goodbye to Andrew.

So, without further ado ...
CHAPTER THREE: user posted image

"Hey Brooke, we're here."

I open my eyes and smile softly. I sit up from my place against Andrew and look around. I sigh, remembering this place from when I was little and follow Andrew out of the SUV.

"How long has it been since we were here?" I laugh lightly and grab his hand. Together we walk into the place and quickly find the room we used when we were younger. I jump on the bed and smirk at him as he jumps on it next to me. I sigh and bite my lip, my tongue licking over the two rings on my bottom lip on either end. Sitting up, I walk back downstairs and jump when Daymien runs by me.

"We're going shopping for supplies! Come on kids!" I hear my mom yell.

"Andrew and I are staying!" I call out and listen as the SUV pulls away. Smirking, I turn to face him. I walk back into the room and begin undressing. "Let's go swimming," I say, staying in my underwear and running down the stairs and into the jacuzzi.

"Mon chére, nous sommes arriveés." my mother said, turning around in her seat to poke my shoulder, making sure that I hadn't fallen asleep or anything.

I raise an eyebrow, pulling out one of my headphones. "I can see that." I say a little ungratefully. I must admit, it is a nice house. Rather huge, actually. Marking my place in my book, I sigh and open the door. I step outside, stretching a little before going to open the trunk. I grab two of the three duffle bags, hoisting them over my shoulders, and make my way up the drive to the door.

"Drake," my father calls after me. "We're going to the store to pick up some things we left at home, d'accord?"

I nod and turn back to the house, pushing open the door as I hear the car engine start up again, and I wave over my shoulder as I shut the door behind me with my foot.

Plodding up the stairs, I enter a room at random and set the luggage down.

Surveying my surroundings, I sigh and pick up my book again. Might as well keep myself occupied for now, I have no idea if there is any other sign of human life within a ten mile radius of this place. I fling myself down on the bed and continue reading.

"I'm gonna go to the lake, it's too hot in here." Andrew says and gets out.

I chuckle and give him a wink.

"Only because I'm in here."

He laughs and nods, kissing me quickly before walking down to the lake. I sigh and get out, walking into the cabin quickly and getting some chips that I had put on the kitchen counter when I got in. As I'm walking back out, I stub my toe on a toy that Audrey left on the floor, "FUCK!"

I grunt, holding my breath, and walk back out. Sighing, I slip back into the hot tub and close my eyes.

I had just set down my book and walked out onto the landing on my way to get a drink of water when I heard a rather vehement bout of cursing.

What the hell? I think. There isn't supposed to be anyone else here, is there?

Abandoning my quest for water, I walk down the stairs, a frown appearing on my face. I walk out onto the deck, not finding anything other than a few lost toys lying all over the floor (what the hell is that about?). Turning a corner, I come face to face with this ... girl ... sitting in the hot tub (I wasn't told there was a hot tub!), looking as if she had every right to be there.

"Who the hell are you?" I ask, crossing my arms. "And what the hell are you doing here?" I add, raising an eyebrow incredulously.

Sorry if it's a little confusing, but you'll get used to it. We did.

Celandine - May 30, 2006 08:43 PM (GMT)
Yeah, we decided three authors would be confusing, sorry gals. But I'm still here to read and input my witty comments, hehe.

Oh man, I love this, they are totally unsuspecting. And they have a hot tub! Huzzah. :) I loved Drake's line, I probably would have had the same response, haha.

CHAPTER FOUR: user posted image

I jump and look up. Arching my brow and look around.

"My parents rented this place for the summer?" I answer, looking him up and down.

"What are you doing here?" I ask, batting my eyelashes.

I laugh. "You've got to be kidding. Your parents rented this for the summer?" I shake my head. "No way. My parents rented this for the summer."

I frown. "And you didn't answer my first question. Who the hell are you?"

I smirk and pull myself out some, leaning over the edge of the tub and setting the chips down, giving him a perfect view of my butt. I turn back around and move over to the other side of the hot tub, closer to him and lean against it, my arms on the edge of it.

"Well, there must be some mistake because you see, um, you sexy person you, this cabin you see here," I nod, "My family has used for years. I mean, a little more and we might as well buy the damn place."

I arch my brow and smirk wider.

"I can be whoever you want me to be baby." I say and wink.

I raise my eyebrows. Is this really happening? I ask myself. I bite my lip, frowning, trying to come up with the proper response. How the hell do you respond to something like that?

"Um ... maybe some other time." I reply, shoving my hands into my pockets.

This is beyond awkward.

I laugh and lean forward, extending my hand, "I'm Brooke. And you are..."

"Brooke!" I hear Andrew yell from the lake.

"Yeah?" I call back, my attention still on the guy in front of me.

"Come over here!"

"Be right there!" I smile at him and nod in Andrew's direction, "Lake."

I laugh. "Close, but no cigar." I reach forward, grasping her hand in my own. "It's Drake. Good guess though." I grin.

I arch my brow when he takes my hand, noting the firmness.

"Drake huh? It suits you." I get out of the hot tub and let go of his hand. "Wanna come?"

I ask not waiting for him and walking down towards the lake. I stop and turn around.

"My parents aren't going to like this you know...your family staying here."
