Prologue:

“Mommy! Mommy! I need to go potty!” I cry over to her from the backseat.

“We’re almost there sweetheart, just hold it a little longer.”

“I can’t,” I whine.

“Try harder,” She says.

“Okay,” I answer, and cross my legs as my dad comes to a stop at a light.

“We have to go pick up the girls from school, so you’ll have to go there okay?” My mother says turning around to face me.

I nod, “Where’s Lizziebeth?”

“She’s at grandma’s house, because she was sick today.”

I see the light turn green and the car begins to move again. I look out of the window and scream in terror.

“DADDY!” I scream.

He turns to look at me for a split second and turns the wheel as hard as he can. The car spins so that the front of it is facing the oncoming car. With a loud crash of metal the other car hits us, causing mom and dad to be pushed backwards and onto me. I feel something tight on my neck and look at my parents before blacking out.

“DADDY!” I scream bolting upright. I look around the dark room and notice I’m drenched in sweat.

Chapter One:

“Jordan? Jordan what’s wrong?” I hear my grandmother ask.

I turn to face her and then let my body fall back on my bed. I don’t answer but let her sit down next to me.

“I don’t remember them grandma. All I remember is the accident. I’m so horrible…I’m such a horrible person.” I cry.

“Oh sweetheart, no you’re not! You were only four years old.” She says, hugging me tightly.

I sniffle, and stare at the picture, “Will the pain ever go away?”

My grandmother pulls away and looks at me, “I’m sorry sweetheart, but I don’t think it will. With time it will heal, but it will always be there.”

“Grandma! Jordan! We’re home!” Samantha’s voice echoes through the house. I wipe at my tears and follow my grandmother down the hall towards the banister.

“We’re upstairs girls! Why don’t you start on dinner, we’ll be down in a few moments.”

“Is something wrong?” Georgia asks.

“No, Jordan still doesn’t feel well.”

The girls nod and turn to head into the kitchen. “She’s probably crying over mom and dad’s picture again.” Antigone sighs.

“Are you saying it’s a bad thing?” Sammi asks.

“No! God no; I’m just saying that it –“ Her words are drowned as they go into the next room.

I just turn and walk back into my bedroom. “They think I’m a loser.”

“No they don’t; they just worry why you cry so much about it.”

“Sometimes I feel like they blame me for it.” I tell her.

“Why?”

“If I hadn’t yelled at dad then maybe he would’ve not turned the car and I would be dead instead of the both of them. Maybe if I hadn’t yelled one of them would still be alive.”

“One of them instead of you, you think your sisters want that?”

I nod.

“Don’t you ever say that; don’t even think it! Your father did that so that you could live. He saved your life.”

I nod, “Sometimes I feel like it was my fault because I was in the car with them and I’m the only one alive.”

“Maybe God wanted it that way sweetheart.”

“But why,” I ask quietly, looking up at you, the hurt evident in my eyes.

“I do not know, but what I do know is that your parents wouldn’t want to see you thinking this way. They love you and would do anything for you, so don’t you ever think for one second that they died because of you. Understood?”

I nod, “Okay.”

*gasp* Noooo, don't think that, Jordan! Then you guys wouldn't be the Seven Sullivan Sisters! And it's the parents' job to protect their kids anyway. Did the dad turn the wheel hard because he was going to turn around for Jordan, though?

Yay, great beginning, I agree with Amber, the grandmother seems to be a really nice woman with wise advice so far. And four out of the seven sisters have shown up, wheee. :woot:

Twelve Years Later

“Hello?” I hear Jordan ask sleepily.

“Wake up call. Time to get up,” I answer her.

“I don’t have to go in today Sammi.” She grumbles.

“Oh! Well, get up anyway! You can go work out or do something else.”

“Work out? Nah….but maybe I’ll go dancing.” She answers instantly awake.

“Clubbing, this early in the day?” I question.

“No, not clubbing but dancing. Like at the studio. Maybe I will go into the studio today and see if they’re working on their dances. I love learning it with them.”

“I’m sure,” I giggle.

“What is that supposed to mean?”

“You know what it means. Anti told me what you said about that actor, Henry or whatever his name is. You fancy him.”

“Whatever, or did my darling sister forget that I have a boyfriend, and his name is not Henry.”

“Keep telling yourself that.”

She laughs, “Leave me alone and call the rest of the girls why don’t you.”

“Alright, have a great day and I’ll see you later. Love you,”

“Love you too.”

“Bye,” I answer and hang up. I finish getting my coffee and click on the number five on my phone. “Good morning Liv. It’s time for you to get to work so hop to it.”

Groan.

“Come on, you know you want to see those kids today.” I laugh.

“Okay, I’m up.” She protests.

I wait until I hear her bed groan. “Alright then, I’ll talk to you later. Love you.”

“Love you too,”

“Bye,” I tell her and hang up. I do this four more times before heading out my front door and into the morning air.

“This is going to be a wonderful day,” I say to myself, “I can feel it.”


So...since chapter two is twelve years later, and Jordan is twenty now...it means that she was eight when the dream in chapter one happened. :blink: I hope my calculations are correct. Hope you ladies enjoyed that one! More on the way soon!

hehe, me! lol. It seriously took me a while to realize that Liv was my character's nickname, haha. O"liv"ia, I get it now. :blush:

You don't even know how much that is like me *laughs* I am in no way shape or form a morning person. :lol: Go me and complaining about getting up...but I get to see little kids, aww...so do I go to libraries and read kids stories when I'm not writing them? That would be cute.

Chapter Three:

I sigh as I park the car. So much for such a good day, I think to myself, and walk towards Club Infinity. I smile at Raul, the bodyguard, chuckling softly at the looks I get when he lets me skip. I breathe in and smile, “Ah, the smell of sweat and booze.”

Raul chuckles and kisses my cheek, “Have fun Sammi.”

I walk in and head towards the bar. I sit on a stool and look around, a soft smile on my face. I wait for someone to wait on me, but groan when five minutes pass and no one shows up. I stand up and turn around, but hear a voice behind me, “Can I help ye love?”

I turn back around and arch my brow at the man behind me, “Where have you been?”

He takes a step back, wiping at the glass in his hand, and gives me a look of surprise, “Excuse me love?”

“I’ve been standing here for five minutes, and no service. I’m going to –“ I begin, but am cut off when I see Elizabeth walk behind the bar. I watch as she wraps her arm around the man’s shoulder and grins at me. I cross my arms and glare at him, “Don’t tell me this is your new bar manager.”

The man glances at Liz and my mouth drops open when she nods, “He is. Gerry, this is Samantha. I have to get back to work, so don’t kill each other.”

She grins and leans over the counter, kissing my cheek lightly, and then she turns to Gerry and gives him a hug, whispering in something into his ear. I take my seat back on the stool and give him a look, as if sizing him up, but really just checking him out. Liz walks away and Gerry turns back to face me, “What can I get for ye love?”
