Summary: Maddie is in love with her best friend Dom, but is dating Elijah at the same time. Eventually she will have to choose and one little mistake can change everything.

Disclaimer: I don't know or own Dom, Elijah, Billy, Sean, Orlando and anyone else that is famous in this story. Even if I did own them, why would I tell anyone ;) I only own Maddie and everyone else.

A/N: The pairings are as followed, Dom/Elijah/OFC (NO SLASH, they just love the same person Maddie), Billy/OFC, Viggo/OFC and Orlando/Kate. This is the first ever LOTR actor novel I wrote. It is finished and I am currently typing the sequel to this. So hope you all enjoy!

Prologue
“And cut! Excellent job John and Dom! 15 minute break!” the director of Monsignor Renard called out to the cast of the movie they were filming in France.

Madeline Collins, but everyone called her Maddie sat at a lunch table and smiled as she saw her best friend Dominic Monaghan grab an apple and sat next to her. He gave her a hug and a kiss on the forehead in a brotherly way.

“Great job on there Dom.” Maddie said smiling.

Dominic took a bite of his apple and gave her a silly grin.

"Thanks. It’s hard being a jerk like Etienne is.” he replied.

“No kidding, your character is a little punk.” Maddie retorted with a laugh.

Dom rolled his eyes in response.

“Yeah I know…hey are you still coming over tonight?” Dom asked taking another bite of his apple.

Maddie shook her head no.

“Nope.” she replied not looking at him.

He frowned giving her the glare that Etienne usually had on screen.

“And why is that?" he asked.

Maddie raised an eyebrow and gave him the same look back, somewhat mocking him.

“Because I have better things to do then watch movies with you.” she replied.

Dom winced.

“Ouch…go straight for the heart why don’t you?”

“Alright then. How long is the break?” she asked.

“Oh shut up! Really why do you not want to come over? Are you hot for my body or something and scared that you’ll jump me when we’re alone?” Dom asked with an evil grin on his face.

Maddie rolled her eyes in response.

“Oh yeah that’s it.” she replied.

“See I told you. Everyone wants my body.” Dom commented casually.

She punched his arm lightly while laughing.

“God Dom shut your mouth before I shove that apple in your mouth.” she threatened.

Dom took a bite of his apple while rolling his eyes and shaking his head.

“I dare you to.” he said.


A few minutes later, Dom was called back to set and Maddie was still eating her food.

“Ha ha.” she teased him.

He stuck his tongue out at her and scowled before going back to being Etienne.

“HEY DOM!” Maddie yelled and Dom turned around surprised.

“What is it?” he asked impatiently getting back into his character.

“You forgot something.” Maddie yelled as she picked up Dom’s apple from the table and ran up to him and shoved it into his mouth causing everyone on set to laugh.

Dom choked for a bit in shock and chewed on some pieces before taking it out of his mouth.

“See you later Maddie.” he said with a smile.

She smiled back and saluted him in sarcasm.

“At eight.” she piped in as she went back to mingling with other extras and watching Dom.

Later that evening, Maddie rang the doorbell of Dom’s house at exactly eight o clock. He swung open the door and gave her a huge hug and smile.

Maddie hugged him back surprised by his boldness.

“What was that for?” she asked.

Dom only smiled as he pulled her inside and closed the door behind them.

“Dallas called.” Dom said referring to his agent.

Maddie nodded as she grabbed a drink from the cooler that Dom had next to his couch. They both sat down with Dom practically jumping up and down with excitement.

“And?” Maddie asked.

Dom just got up and grabbed her hands in his and squeezed it gently.

“Dom you’re scaring me what is going on?” Maddie asked a bit nervous.

He just grinned even more.

“I got the part in the Lord of the Rings movie!” Dom squealed with excitement.

Maddie gasped in shock and excitement. She knew how much Dom wanted to get a part in that; he was a huge fan of the books.

“Oh my God Dom!!!!” she exclaimed as she grabbed him in her embrace and hugged him tightly just like he had done earlier.Dom immediately hugged her back as they both got up and jumped around the living room.

Maddie looked up at him smiling huge.

“I’m so happy and proud of you Dom. Who do you play?” she asked.

“Merry.” he replied smiling down at her.

“Ahahaha, you’re playing a hobbit.” she teased him with a laugh.

Dom shrugged and hugged her close to him.

“Do you really mean that you’re proud of me Maddie?” he asked softly.

She gave him a duh look.

“Of course I am Dom. You’re a wonderful actor and you’re going to be even more famous and be in fifty other movies. And you’re going to be happy and make many more friends all around the world. In fact I bet that you’re going to be so famous that you’re going to forget about me.” Maddie replied.

Dom shook his head no.

“No. Never will I forget you Maddie, no matter how famous I got, this I promise you.” he promised her.

“Really?” she asked.

He nodded.

“Of course, now I leave for New Zealand in about four more months, we’re never going to be apart until then. You’ll have to remove me from your embrace literally." he teased.

Maddie sighed dramatically imitating his character.

“Oh fine. Just take a shower every single day so you don’t stink.” she replied.

Dom looked insulted by her comment.

“Hey I don’t stink! I smell like roses!” he protested stomping his foot for effects.

“Yeah and I’m going to marry you one day.” Maddie retorted.

Dom just laughed and hugged her close to him.

“Whatever you say my darling Maddie.”

Four months later Maddie and Dom were sitting at Heathrow Airport in London not waiting to Dom’s flight to be announced. He was practically asleep on her shoulder while Maddie was fighting back tears. She couldn’t go with Dom to New Zealand and both were equally upset and disappointed.

Dom’s flight was announced over the intercom and Maddie ran her hands up and down Dom’s arm.

“Come on Dom, you gotta go sweetie.” she said softly to him.

He groaned and nodded as they both stood up while grabbing his duffel bag and walking over to the gate.

They looked at one another, not wanting to say goodbye.

He looked at her sadly while pulling her into his arms and rocking her back and forth in his arms while trying not to cry himself.

“We’ll keep in touch okay? Remember our deal okay?” Dom asked her gently and she nodded not even caring that tears were running down her face and onto Dom’s shirt.

“Hey no tears alright?” he said wiping her tears away gently as he gave her a peck on the lips softly and hugged her once again before letting go and picking up his bag.

“Bye love, I’ll call you when I land alright?” he asked.

She nodded and kissed his cheek gently.

“Okay bye Dom.” she replied as Dom sighed and went over to the gate and handed the attendant his ticket.

He glanced back and waved at Maddie before turning back around and going through the gate.

She sighed while fighting back tears as she watched the plane go down the runway and saw it flying into the sky…with Dom inside it.

She turned around and made her way back to her apartment in Manchester, England. She then got herself comfortable on the couch while picking up a book that she was reading before she offered to take Dom to the airport. She got comfortable while waiting for him to call her. But she knew it would be a while before he did.

He never did call her.

*jaw drops*

Chapter 1

The year 2002, Manchester, England

26 year old Maddie Collins got out of her car and literally running into Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital where she worked as a Pediatric Nurse. She ran through the lobby dodging people and comments as she flew up the stairs and onto the 3rd floor where she worked with children with all sorts of disabilities and diseases. In a way it made her sad, but also she loved kids so it didn’t matter.

She ran into the women’s locker room past two of her co-workers and sat down huffing and puffing just a bit. She had changed since she had last spoken to Dom. She had dyed her hair brown and had lost weight. Her thoughts continued as she put on her scrubs getting ready to work.

Stephanie Mitchell and Christina Potter both looked at her as if she were crazy or late or something.

“Are you okay Maddie?” Christina asked raising an eyebrow.

Maddie looked at her and nodded her head wildly.

“Oh yeah I’m fine, thanks.” she replied.

Stephanie and Christina looked at each other with raised eyebrows.

“Are you sure?” Stephanie asked.

Maddie sighed and nodded as she put on her nametag and tied her tennis shoes tight.

“Yes I’m fine; can’t I be happy for once in my life?” Maddie asked.

“No, you have to be miserable all your life.” Stephanie replied sarcastically.

Maddie flashed her the middle finger and shut her locker.

“So did you and Ryan make up?” Christina asked.

“Nope we broke up, I found the wanker in bed with his ex fiancée.” Maddie replied nonchantly.

Both girls gasped in shock.

“Oh god Maddie I’m sorry hun.” Stephanie said.

Maddie just glanced at her and shrugged.

“No need to be sorry, I’m perfectly fine. I was going to break up with him sooner or later.” Maddie explained.

“Why? You’re not thinking about that guy from France are you?” Stephanie asked.

Maddie only looked down at the floor and nodded slowly.

“Maddie! You need to get over him! He never called you back! You two haven’t talked in six fucking years!” Stephanie exclaimed.

“You don’t think I know that Stephanie! Well I do! I don’t know…I just miss Dom. He was good company…he was my best friend. The only guy who if I dated would never cheat on me. I don’t know Stephie.” she sighed.

Stephanie hugged her in a sisterly hug.

“It’s going to be fine Maddie. Okay me and you tonight go out to a pub and have a good time okay?” Stephanie asked.

Maddie looked at her and nodded with a smile on her face.

“Okay sounds great.” she replied.

“Good” Stephanie said as they both left the locker room and went to begin her shift.

Later that afternoon in a house in Manchester…

26 year old Dominic Monaghan yawned as he watched Sean Astin’s daughter Alexandra, but everyone called her Ali run around Dom’s Manchester house trying to get her Uncle Dom to play with her.

“Not today love, Uncle Dom’s a bit tired. But are you hungry sweetie?” Dom asked her.

Ali nodded her head.

“Well what do you want love?” Dom asked her sweetly bending down to her height. Bless her heart for being short just like Sean.

Ali thought about that for a minute and then smiled.

“Can I have some grilled cheese and soup Uncle Dom?” she asked.

He gave her a soft smile and nodded.

“You sure can hun. Just go sit down and watch some TV while I stay in here and cook okay?” he asked.

She nodded and went into the living room and he heard her turn on his television. He smiled as he grabbed a frying pan, some bread and cheese as he began to cook.


A few minutes later, it was silent in the house and Dom was getting a bit nervous. Then he turned off the oven and put the grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup on the counter so it could cool off.

Then he heard a loud scream coming from Ali in the living room. He dropped the empty bag of sugar and it landed on the floor as he ran into the living room and found Ali screaming loudly and she was holding her foot.

Dom cursed to himself as he squatted next to her.

“What happened love?” he asked her.

Ali kept on screaming until Dom grabbed her and held her close to him in his arms, not sure on what to do.

“I…I…fell down the stairs Uncle Dom.” she managed to spit out before Dom cursed to himself again.

“Did you hurt your foot love?” Dom asked.

Ali only nodded as tears were making their way down her small little face.

“Can you move it a bit love?” he asked.

She tried to, but screamed out more in pain. Dom picked her up gently and then grabbed his keys and shut the door behind him and locked it. He then ran as fast as he could without hurting Alex as he laid her in the backseat of his car. He then jumped into the driver’s side and rushed off to the nearest hospital.


A few minutes later, he got Ali into the hospital safely and now he was waiting in the waiting room just getting off the phone with Ali’s parents Sean and Christine. Plus Billy, Orlando and Elijah were all in London so they would come up and see how she was.

He sighed and laid his head back on the side.


Maddie was leaning up against the side of the nurse’s station when she was handed a new chart and she looked at the name on there. Astin, Alexandra Louise.

Maddie thought that the last name sounded familiar. She then just shook her head figuring it was nothing and she headed for the room. She knocked gently on the door and peaked her head in.

“Alexandra Astin?” she asked.

Alex turned her head and nodded.

“Can I come in sweetie?” Maddie asked softly.

The little girl nodded and smiled softly.

Maddie smiled right back and closed the door behind her.

“How are you feeling sweetie?” she asked.

Alex sighed and moved her small hand up and down as if saying okay.

“It hurts still.” she whined.

“Oh I know sweetie, well it looks like you broke your ankle which means you’ll have to be very careful okay?” Maddie explained to her.

Ali loved being talked to like an adult and she nodded bravely.

“Okay I will nurse.” she replied.

Maddie laughed and gave the little girl a little hug.

“You can call me Maddie sweetie. Can I call you Ali?” Maddie reassured her.

Ali smiled and nodded, "That's what my Daddy and uncles call me so you can to." as they began talking some more.


A few minutes later, Dom was joined by the Astins and his friends that came to see him for the support. Those in his mind were true friends.

“Mr. and Mrs. Astin?” a nurse asked.

Everyone looked up and saw a nurse standing there. A very young nurse.

“Everything is going to be okay with Ali. She broke her left ankle which means when she leaves which will be a couple days then she’ll have to walk on crutches for six weeks. She will be in pain for the next few days and the pain gets really bad then feel free to give her some medication which can be Children’s Tylenol and ONLY Children’s Tylenol. Anything else might do some damage to other body parts because she’s just not ready for it. But she’s up for visitors, she’s in Room 456.” she explained pointing down the hallway corridor.

Sean and Christine Astin looked relieved as they both shook the nurse’s hand.

“Thank you Nurse…” Sean said realizing he never knew her name.

She then blushed and held out her hand.

“I’m Nurse Collins, but you can call me Maddie like everyone else does.” Maddie said with a smile.

They all smiled in gratitude and went down the hallway to Ali’s room.

Dom gave her a small sheepishly smile.

“Thank you again Nurse Maddie, I thought Sean would kill me” Dom said with a bit of a laugh.

Maddie just shrugged and chuckled as she eyed Dom and then she realized who it was.

“And you must be the man who brought Ali in? You did a great job of keeping her calm and everything. She barely cried and she was one brave little girl.” Maddie complimented.

Dom nodded and blushed a bit. Why was he blushing? He hardly blushed, except around a beautiful girl. But she did look familiar.

“That’s our Ali and yeah I am. But you can call me Dom.” he said as they shook hands lightly.

Maddie tilted her head to the side and then sighed.

“Dominic Monaghan?” she asked.

Dom nodded and sighed being prepared for her to scream and freak out like any other girl would.

Maddie glared as she yanked her hand out of his.

“I was in Monsignor Renard with you, that should be a big hint. Then again you didn't call me for six fucking years with no explantion why!” Maddie retorted.

Dom looked at her and then his eyes went wide.

“Maddie?"

Okay, so I thought of this earlier, but Monsignor Renard is the funniest name for me, since my last name is Reynard. ^_^ Kinda sweet.

But, seriously?! He cannot have SERIOUSLY forgotten her!!! I mean, I know she's changed and all but SERIOUSLY??!!?

Pssh. Amatuer.

Go Maddie! Yeah! Maybe now she can move on? Probably not, huh? *shrug* It was a good try. =)

Chapter 2

‘Run after her you idiot’ Dom’s brain screamed in his head while he was standing still in shock. Sean pushed him down the hallway that she walked down after he didn't move. Dom ran after her grabbing her arm making her turn around sharply.

“What do you want?” she asked impatiently.

He ran his free hand through his hair, sighed, and let her arm loose.

“I don’t know what to say to be real honest with you Maddie. I can’t believe I’d ever see you again. You don’t know how sorry I am that I never did call you or keep in touch throughout these years.” Dom said.

“I bet you are, well Dom I hope you are sorry because I'll let you know, you really hurt me. You have no idea how much I needed you and you were not there. Some friend you are!” she replied crossing her arms across her chest not giving him any sympathy, but he didn’t expect it either.

“I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart, I really am Maddie. I just got so busy. I know it may take awhile, but I want us to be friends again.” he said.

Her eyes went wide as she motioned for him to follow her into one of the waiting rooms. He did so obediently and she closed the door behind them.

“What makes you think that I am wanting to be your friend after four years of not hearing from you Dom?!?” Maddie exclaimed.

“I can tell that you miss me and I will miss you even more than that. I was a fool not to call you. I was young and immature. Even now you can't hide anything from me.” he said with his well-known cheeky grin.

She shook her head no in response.

“That’s no excuse Dominic Monaghan and you know it as well I do. And maybe I did miss you.” she replied not looking at him.

“Would you give me another chance once you trusted me again?” he asked.

She looked straight at him and he backed away not sure of if she was going to explode more or be calm.

“Yes I would only because I still care about you and to be honest I have no idea why I still do. You basically kicked me to the curb.” she commented and he nodded.

“You know how much I am sorry Maddie”. he said as she looked into his blue-gray eyes and she then realized that they were full of sincerity and honesty.

“Just give me time Dom please.” she said.

He nodded in understanding as he kissed her cheek quickly and opened the waiting room doors to leave her alone and she stood there hoping Dom believed everything she did. Truth was, she was in love with him and still was.

‘Shit.’ she thought to herself as she left the room and went back to check on Ali.

The next morning Maddie found herself in a grocery store buying food items she needed to get herself throughout the week. Her apartment was always tidy, but almost out of food. She sighed to herself as she pulled out a gallon of milk and looked at the expiration date. Two weeks away, it read and she put in there and she then turned to go into the chip aisle when she stopped in shock.

Her ex boyfriend Ryan Carson was standing there trying to figure out what kind of beer he wanted. She quickly turned around trying to shield her face as best as she could. But someone tugged on her jacket and she knew that she was caught.

“Maddie?” a male voice asked.

She slowly turned around and looked at the man who had just broken her heart just a few days ago.

“What do you want Ryan?” she asked.

He only rose an eyebrow.

“Oh a bit feisty today aren’t we Maddie love.” he said trying to grab her arms, but she pulled them out of his embrace.

“I am NOT your Maddie love anymore Ryan! You ended it by sleeping with Diana! Obviously you couldn’t wait a couple more years until we were suppose to be married. You know how much I want to wait until after I’m married! Especially since what happened years ago But oh well that’s your own damn fault. It’s only your loss.” Maddie replied as she turned to walk away, but he stopped in front of her cart pushing it hard into her stomach.

She winced in pain as he came around quickly and grabbed her wrists and squeezed them hard.

“Oh no it’s not my loss Maddie because you are nothing, but a whiny ass bitch who drools over that Dom guy you met in France and can’t stop thinking about him. Now I really know why he didn’t call you back. You are nothing, but a bitch that doesn’t deserve a minute of anyone’s time!” Ryan growled in anger squeezing her more making her cry out in pain more.

“Ryan you’re hurting me! Let me go!” Maddie said fighting back tears from the words.

“Like I care. I never did love you and I never will. I lied the whole time!” he exclaimed.

“HEY! Let her go you worthless piece of shit!” another male voice yelled down the aisle and Maddie cursed out loud not caring if Ryan heard or not. She knew that voice from anywhere.

Dom came up to the both of them and got into Ryan’s face and shoved him against the shelves.

“Let go of her or I’ll hurt you worse than you’ve already hurt her!” Dom growled loudly.

“Gladly. Who are you anyways?” Ryan said pushing Maddie into Dom’s arms. Dom held her close to him as she started to shake in nervousness and fear.

“Who I am none of your business, now who the hell are you?” Dom asked.

“I’m her ex-boyfriend Ryan.” Ryan replied.

“The bastard who cheated on her with your ex-fiancée?” Dom asked even more angry overhearing their conversation.

Maddie nodded in his arms and Dom’s hands were curled up in fists and he was balling them up so hard that they were starting to hurt him. But he didn’t care.

“Now you piece of shit listen to me because I’m only going to say this once and one time only. You are a lousy fucking piece of shit that doesn’t deserve a minute of anyone’s time or energy. I feel sorry for you. You lost a wonderful woman who I care for very much. She’s my girlfriend now and I love her with all of my heart and soul. And if I hear of you ever coming within 100 feet of her, I swear to God I will beat your dumb ass to the ground and I mean HARD! Now go away!” Dom yelled not caring who saw.

Ryan only smirked in response.

“She’s your girlfriend now? She’s fat and ugly and a crybaby. I wouldn’t waste my time mate.” Ryan said.

Dom growled and moved to punch him, ready to do it, but Maddie tugged on his shirt and he looked down at her. Her eyes were welling up with tears and she was shaking.

“No Dom don’t, he’s not worth getting your hands dirty." she retorted.

Dom only nodded and kissed her on the lips for the proof Ryan needed. She first resisted and then finally giving it, but they pulled away slowly.

“Get out of my sight before I do something in front of the lady which I know I’ll regret." Dom glared at him.

Ryan sighed and just shook his head walking away from the so called “couple”.

Dom held Maddie in his arms as she continued to cry softly and shake with fright. He ran his hands up and down her back rubbing it gently just like he use to do during Monsignor Renard.

He whispered soft comforting words in her ear and a few minutes later she jumped out of his arms wiping her tears away.

“What are you doing here Dom?” she asked.

Dom looked surprised that she practically ran out of his arms and then he shrugged.

“I was grocery shopping for me when I heard you being confronted by your asshole of an ex-boyfriend. I wasn’t going to interfere, but I couldn’t let him hurt you like he did. Did he hurt you when you two were dating?” Dom replied.

“He never hurt me physically, but emotionally yes he did. He called me dumb because I can’t cook that well and shit like that. But I’m fine Dom…by the way thank you." she replied.

“There’s no need to thank me, friends do that for one another. And I’m sorry you had to put up with that Maddie. But are you going to be okay?” he asked.

She nodded her head with confidence as she smiled softly at him.

“If you want to, you could come over to my apartment later. I would like to talk to you about what happened yesterday. That’s only if you want to.” Maddie said.

Dom smiled and nodded at the invitation without even thinking.

“Of course I will Maddie. What time?” he asked.

She thought about that for a second.

“How about six tonight? It will give us time to eat and then talk later” she replied and he nodded in agreement.

“Okay how about you let me cook? Since your cooking is okay, but mine is better.” Dom teased her a bit and Maddie laughed.

“Okay fine I know I’m a bad cooker, but oh bloody well. Here let me write down the directions to my apartment.” Maddie said as she took out a piece of paper and a pen and wrote down the directions and then handed it Dom who was smiling at her.

“Okay see you then Maddie.” he said winking at her and then leaving the aisle and went back to shopping.

“What did I get myself into?” she asked out loud to herself as she continued to shop almost done with it anyways.

Later that night…

“What do you mean you invited him to your place?!?!? Maddie are you out of your bloody mind?!?” Stephanie shrieked into the phone.

Maddie sighed as she was in her room on her cordless phone trying to figure out what to wear. She knew it was casual, but she wanted to look nice for Dom.

“I knew I shouldn’t have told you Stephanie! Now calm down and quit getting mad or I’m going to hang up on your arse.” Maddie retorted as she grabbed a pair of jeans and a white spaghetti strapped tank top. She then grabbed her matching blue jean jacket that went with the set and then laid them down on her bed neatly.

“Okay okay I’m sorry sheesh. I have to go, but please call me and tell me what happened alright?” Stephanie asked.

“Sure thing Stephie, I got to go bye.” she said as they both hung up the phone at the same time. She then threw the phone on her bed and glanced over at the alarm clock. It read 5:32 P.M.

“Shit!” Maddie yelled as she quickly undressed and went to go take a real quick shower.

Maddie was running around her kitchen making sure everything was ready and prepared for Dom when he arrived. It was now 5:58 and she was getting more nervous. But she had no idea why she was getting so nervous for. It was only Dom….right?

She started pacing around the kitchen not realizing that time had passed and someone was buzzing her. She then ran across the living room and over to the intercom. She then pressed the button.

“Hello?” she asked in a funny voice.

Dom’s voice rang out over the room making her smile.

“Uhh do I have the right apartment? Is that you Maddie?” he asked a bit nervous.

“No, who the hell is Maddie, You sound hot, come here you sexy stud.” she replied in the same voice trying not to laugh.

“Well I am sexy and a stud, thanks, but seriously who is this?” Dom asked.

Maddie snorted with laughter trying her best to keep her identity a secret.

“I’m sure you one sexy man, you should know who this is. Come up and meet me if you dare you big boy.” she said as she buzzed him in and turned off the intercom laughing.

A couple minutes later, a soft knock was hard at the door and she looked at herself one last time in the mirror before turning around and sighing before unlocking the door and opening it revealing herself.

Dom stood on the other side with his head tilted with an amused look on his face.

“Oh ha ha, you’re so funny Maddie.” he replied.

She nodded and replied, "I know." as she opened the door wider for him. He came in and looked around as if inspecting the place as Maddie closed the door behind her.

He handed the small bouquet of lilies that were in his hand to her.

“You remembered.” she said with a small gasp as she sniffed them and then smiled back.

“Of course I remember Maddie now where I can put this at?” Dom replied with a small smile as he took off his blue jacket. Maddie smiled and took his jacket and hung it out on the coat rack.

Dom smiled and gave her a quick hug as he went into the kitchen to begin cooking.

After dinner, Maddie stuck the dishes in the dishwasher while Dom cleaned up the table. When everything was done and the kitchen was clean, they both took glasses of wine and went into the living room where they sat on the couch.

“Thank you again for having to deal with Ryan this morning. I know it wasn’t the best way to meet each other there, but thank you again. I’m sorry he’s a jerk.” Maddie apologized.

Dom swallowed the wine that was in his mouth and sighed.

“It’s not your fault so don’t apologize for him. He’s a wanker, you should have never have dated him Maddie.” he replied.

“Well he was nice when I first met him, but then again most guys are and then you find out who they really are like sooner or later.” Maddie replied.

Dom sighed and looked away as he drank some more of his wine. He then looked at her and took the glass of her hands and placed it on the coffee table along with his.

“Maddie I have to ask you something okay? I understand if you say no, but I have to ask you.” he said.

She looked at him with a raised eyebrow and nodded slowly.

“Will you go to New Zealand with me?” he asked.

She gasped in shock.

“What?” she asked him not sure what she heard was right.

“I have to do some re shoots for the Two Towers and I have to leave for New Zealand in two days and I was wondering if you would go with me?” he asked.

She bit her lip as she looked at Dom as she tried to figure out an answer.

“Dom…I…”

Of course she will go! ^_^ I've always wanted to go to New Zealand...and, come on, it's with Dom! :hug:

Maddie's ex is a total monster! I couldn't believe some of the horrible things he told her. *shudders* I could really identify with a whole portion of that scenario, and it made me shudder. I'm glad Dom took up for her.

Oh, I wonder what fun they shall have in N.Z.

Maddie, go?

I mean, seriously. She just got a completely obvious example of how much her life in England sucks ass. What does she have to lose? Its only re-shoots so she could (possibly?) keep most of her things like apartment and such.

Hmm. This could be an interesting situation. In love with a guy who just invited you to a foreign country, a relatively remote one nonetheless, where he's shooting a soon-to-be internationally acclaimed trilogy? Hmm.

Chapter 3

“Dom…I…I can’t go I’m sorry.” Maddie replied with a loud sigh.

Dom stared at her shocked.

“Are you serious?” he asked.

She only looked at him and then nodded slowly.

“Are you positive?” Dom asked sincerely and she nodded once again.

Dom only nodded and sighed as the night continued. He didn’t press the issue and he also knew not to. Maddie was very stubborn when she wanted to be.

It’s been a week since Dom left Manchester for New Zealand and if you asked Maddie how she was, you would get a fine. But everyone who did know her would know that she was miserable with Dom. Everyone knew that, only she didn’t.

She was at her parent’s Manchester house a few miles from her own apartment. Tonight was the family’s monthly get together and Maddie was the least bit thrilled. As much as she loved her family, some of them gave her shit about any info or personal things they could get their hands on. Maddie was mashing the potatoes with the electric beater with her sister Elizabeth at her side and her mother on her other side chopping up vegetables.

Elizabeth McKenzie looked at her sister and gave her a goofy grin.

“Are you okay Maddie?” she asked curiously.

Maddie looked at her older sister and forced a smile as she nodded.

“Yeah I’m fine Lizzie. Just a bit tired.” she replied.

“Working too hard sis?” Elizabeth asked concerned.

Maddie shook her head no in response.

“No it’s not that. Hey Mum could you go get Dad real fast?” Maddie asked her mother wanting some privacy.

Mrs. Collins looked at both of her daughters and smiled while wiping her hands on the towel.

“I know when I’m not wanted. I’ll be in the living room forcing your father to watch some football.” Mrs. Collins replied winking at them playfully before leaving the kitchen.

Both sisters just shook their heads as they started to set the table.

“What’s up Maddie?” Elizabeth asked curiously.

“You remember Dom, that guy I met in France during Monsignor Renard?” Maddie asked and Elizabeth nodded her head.

“Yes what about him? Is he back?” Elizabeth asked.

Maddie only shrugged in response.

“Well kinda yeah, but kinda no.” she replied.

“What do you mean by that?” Elizabeth asked confused. Maddie blushed as she went back to get the plates.

“I ran into Dom a week ago and now he’s back in my life. We’re friends and stuff, but at the same time I can’t help, but have the feelings I had for him back in France.” Maddie replied.

Elizabeth only nodded as she sighed.

“So what you’re telling me is that in your own unique way, you’re in love with this Dom guy?” she asked.

Maddie only shrugged and looked away.

“Follow your heart Maddie, that’s all I have to say. You can’t run away from your feelings like I did with Jamie for all those years. Just try the friendship thing again with Dom and have fun. For Christ’s sake, you’re young. Don't worry so much about meeting Mr. Right. Have fun with your life.” Elizabeth advised giving her sister a hug before going into the living room to find her husband.

Maddie sighed and slumped into one of the many dining room chairs. If only she could be happy just like Lizzie and her husband Jamie. She had to make a decision about Dom and the only thing she knew was that she had to do something. She was going to New Zealand.

Two days later in New Zealand

Maddie stood around the Auckland International Airport not sure of where to go or what to do. She had hotel reservations and a rental car, but that was it.

“Shit.” she muttered as she glanced around and began her search for the Lord of the Rings set, hoping she would have some luck.

Two hours later, she found herself in front of a warehouse in the middle of Wellington not far from her hotel. She started to go in when she was stopped by a huge security guard.

“Where do YOU think you’re going little lady?” he growled.

Maddie cursed to herself then put on her best forced smile.

“Hi, I was wondering if there was a way that I could see Dominic Monaghan please?” she asked politely.

He grabbed a clipboard from his side and glanced at it for a few minutes.

“Name?” he asked still gruffly.

“Maddie Collins.” she replied confident.

He glanced it again and then looked at her with a smirk on his face.

“I don’t think so little lady. Nice try, come back when you know you’re actually on the list so you don’t waste anyone else’s time.” he retorted as he grabbed a hold of her arm and started to escort her away.

“Hey Nathan what’s going on?” a male voice asked in surprise.

Maddie looked up and her eyes went wide as she recognized one of Dom’s co-stars in front of her. Elijah Wood was standing in front of her and all she could do was stare in shock.

“Oh nothing Mr. Wood, just found a fan trying to get a way inside the set.” the security guard said full of pride and Maddie only rolled her eyes.

“Men and their prides.” she muttered not noticing that Elijah had heard her and was laughing.

“What’s your name again miss?” he asked curiously.

“No miss is necessary sir, my name is Maddie Collins and I was here to surprise Dominic Monaghan.” she replied holding up her hand.

Elijah raised an eyebrow as he nodded for the security guard to let her go and he did. She rubbed her arm and gave him a look.

“You know Dom?” Elijah asked.

She nodded in response.

“I was his best friend when we were filming Monsignor Renard. We ran into each other back in Manchester last week and he asked me to come here and here I am.” she replied.

Elijah smiled his bashful smile that made his eyes sparkle in the sunlight.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you Maddie, Dom doesn’t ever shut up about you. I’m Elijah Wood by the way.” he said holding his hand out for her to shake.

She gave him a genuine smile as she placed her hand in his as they shook it together in rhythm.

“Well come on in, Nathan put her name on the list under mine and Dom’s guest, thank you. Now Miss Maddie, welcome to the wild world that we call the Lord of the Rings set.” Elijah said as he kept her hand in his as he opened the doors and led her inside to the set.

He led her to a trailer and opened the door.

“Hello anyone in here?” Elijah called into the trailer.

“I’m alive, at least I think so.” a male voice responded and Maddie recognized that as Dom’s.

“Hey Dommie, you have a visitor. Are you decent?” Elijah asked.

A loud dramatic groan was heard.

“For the last time Lij! DON’T CALL ME DOMMIE! And as for me being decent, for you Elijah baby anytime.” Dom yelled back in response.

Elijah just shook his head and flipped him the middle finger and then turned back to Maddie.

“Don’t mind him; he was dropped on his head too many times when he was little. Go on in Maddie. We’ll talk soon.” Elijah said with a smile and a wink as he left to talk to Orlando Bloom.

A familiar song was heard as Maddie carefully and quietly snuck into the trailer where Dom was in. One of her favorite songs was playing on the stereo and Maddie was not surprised when she heard the words of the song “Yellow Submarine." while trying not to laugh at Dom trying to dance and move around the crowded trailer.

Dom ended the song by spinning around and throwing his hands in the air. Madde couldn't help, but laugh out loud. She clapped her hands and entered the trailer to see Dom turn around and his eyes went wide at the sight.

“Bravo Dom! Encore! Encore! Nice choice of song there Dom, I had no idea that you lsang like that. You should go on that show in America...oh what is it called? Its the show that you sing and get judged...American Idol! Yeah you should go on that!" Maddie said laughing.

"What are you doing here?” Dom asked still in shock.

She only glanced at him before going over to him and cupped his cheek in her hand.

“I need to tell you something, promise not to laugh alright?” she asked.

He nodded his head wearily and also concerned. He wasn’t sure what to expect or what was going to come out of her mouth.

“Dom I’m in love with you.” she confessed.

OMG. That is soooo not cool.

Chapter 4

Dom’s eyes went wide as saucers.

“You what?!?!” he asked shocked.

“I’m in love with you Dominic Monaghan, I can’t live without you.” Maddie replied hugging him close to her.

Dom just stood there numb and dumbfounded. He wasn’t sure of what to say or do at that moment.

“I…I…oh wow, I’m shocked Maddie. I had no idea you felt that way.” he commented looking down at her and then sighed.

Maddie’s serious face turned into a smile.

“I was only kidding Dom.” she replied giving him a little punch in the shoulder.

“What?!?!” He exclaimed again making Maddie laugh softly.

“Sorry Dom, but the look on your face was priceless.” she said with a laugh.

He only shook his head and pushed her away from him slightly.

“You’re just plain evil. Just like I left you back in Manchester.” Dom replied pouting.

“Well of course I am wanker. So can I meet the other members of the cast? I’ve already met Elijah and can we say YUMMY?!?” Maddie said with a small smile.

Dom gave her a surprised look.

“You like Elwood?” he asked.

She gave him a confused look.

“Who the hell is Elwood?” she asked back.

Dom then smiled and wrapped his arm around her shoulder as he led her outside of the hobbits’ and Ian McKellen’s trailer.

“Elwood is one of Elijah’s many nicknames. Sorry Maddie, but sure you can meet the others. First you’ll meet Billy and Sean, then maybe Orlando and the others. I’m filming with Billy today so you’ll definitely meet him.” Dom replied as he led her over to meet Peter Jackson and Ian McKellen, who Maddie got star struck at. She had always been a big fan of Ian McKellen.

“It’s a pleasure to finally meet you Mr. McKellen.” Maddie said with a big smile.

Ian only laughed and patted her shoulder.

“Call me Ian please. Mister makes me sound like I’m old and it’s wonderful to meet you dear. This is the director Peter Jackson." Ian said pointing her out to Peter Jackson who was talking to Viggo Mortensen who played Aragorn, along with Orlando Bloom and John Rhys-Davies.

Peter looked over, hearing his name and waved slightly to them and motioning to Dom that they would talk later.

“Come on Maddie, there’s Billy.” Dom said pointing out his co-star and led her to a short man laughing at something he saw on the television.

“Hey Pippin!” Dom said tapping the man’s shoulder and he turned around and smiled.

“Dom! And hello there doll.” he said smiling at both Dom and Maddie.

“Bill, this is my best friend from Manchester and during Monsignor Renard, Maddie Collins, Maddie this is Billy Boyd who plays Pippin Took in the trilogy.” Dom said introducing them to one another.

Maddie’s eyes went wide. As a fan of theatre, she had seen the famous Scottish actor Billy Boyd in many plays in Edinburgh.

“Oh my God…I’m so going to kill you Dominic Monaghan! Anyways it’s a pleasure to meet you Mr. Boyd.” Maddie said with a smile.

Billy turned to look at her and smiled huge as he pulled her into a big hug. She was genuinely surprised as she hugged him back. He then kissed her cheek softly as they pulled away.

“It’s wonderful to meet ye too Maddie and please call me Billy. And why are ye going to kill Dom?” he asked curiously.

“Because I’m a HUGE fan of theatre in England and in Scotland. I’ve seen you, Ian McKellen and Orlando Bloom in many plays up there and now I’m meeting you and Dom gave me no warning.” Maddie replied giving Dom a playful glare.

Billy laughed and pulled her away from Dom’s embrace.

“I like ye already. So how long have ye known Dom?” Billy asked.

“Too damn long.” Maddie replied making Dom gasp in mock shock and Billy burst out laughing.

“That’s the spirit Maddie. Welcome to the family, I knew ye will get along with everyone.”

She blushed slightly as she only shrugged her shoulders.

“Thank you Billy.” she said.

He only nodded and he and Dom were called over to set so they could film the extra scenes with Treebeard in Fangorn Forest.

“Are you going to be okay?” Dom asked her gently.

She nodded and glanced around the warehouse sets.

“I want to meet the others and look around if that’s okay.” Maddie replied.

Dom nodded and hugged her close to him before going to the blue screen to start filming with Billy. She was watching Dom and Billy turn into Merry and Pippin onscreen with a smile on her face which was already full of interest.

A tap was felt on her shoulder and she jumped while turning around quickly.

Elijah laughed at her antics and gave her a smile.

“Hello there, enjoying yourself so far?” he asked.

“Oh yeah. I’ve meet Sir Ian McKellen and Billy so far.” she replied.

He nodded and smiled.

“Well I’m on a break; do you want to meet Andy Serkis and Sean Astin? Maybe even Viggo or Orlando?” he asked.

Her fact lit up and she smiled big.

“Could you please come with me?” she asked.

Elijah grinned back and grabbed her hand in his as he led her away from Dom and Billy’s scene and led her to another part of the warehouse/set that a man with a tight white suit was talking to Sean Astin.

“Hey Andy, Sean…this is Dom’s friend Maddie. Maddie this is Andy Serkis who plays Gollum and Sean he plays my faithful companion Samwise Gamgee.” Elijah said introducing them to one another.

Sean Astin and Andy Serkis both grinned at the same time and shook her hand softly.

“It’s nice to see you again Maddie. Dom doesn’t shut up about you.” Sean said with a laugh.

Maddie raised an eyebrow in response.

“Whatever he said probably isn’t true so don’t believe everything you hear.” she advised making Sean laugh out loud.

“Hey are Viggo, Orli and John filming right now?” Elijah asked.

Andy shook his head no and pointed to the duo coming towards them.

“ELF!” Elijah yelled with a laugh.

“HOBBIT!” one of them yelled back in a British accent that Maddie recognized immediately, Canterbury she thought.

“Maddie Collins meet Orlando Bloom and Viggo Mortensen who play Legolas and Aragorn. Guys this is Dom’s friend Maddie.” Elijah said introducing them.

“You mean THAT Maddie?” Viggo asked with a laugh.

She nodded her head slowly.

“I suppose so. It’s a pleasure to meet you both.” she said holding out her hand for both of them to shake.

Viggo gave her a playful grin as he shook her hand and she knew she would love hanging around with this man. She then turned to Orlando who was smiling brightly at her.

“It’s nice to meet you too love. Call me Orli.” he said shaking her hand and then releasing it with a swing.

“Really?" she asked.

“Of course love.” Orli replied with a silly duh look on his face.

She nodded in understanding as she listened to the guys talk about the weekend’s plans.

“Hey do you like camping Maddie?” Viggo asked her.

Maddie turned and looked at all of them while thinking about that answer.

“Well I’ve never been camping before.” she replied.

Everyone’s eyes went wide.

“Really? You’ve never been camping?” Sean asked as he and Andy joined in the conversation.

She shook her head no as every guy around her got a grin on their faces and slowly turned to her.

“We’re all going camping this weekend which means we’re leaving tomorrow and coming back Sunday. And I mean everyone’s going in the cast and some of the crew, would you like to join us?” Orlando asked her.

She nodded her head without even thinking about an answer.

“Sure! I’ve wanted to go for awhile. But please tell me there are going to be other females going." Maddie replied.

They all nodded.

“Oh yeah Sean’s wife and daughter are coming, plus some of our relatives and some friends we’ve met here in Wellington. Orli’s girlfriend is coming and a bunch of other people.” Elijah replied.

“Oh okay sure I’ll go, I just didn’t want to be the only female going.” she replied.

“And we completely understand. Believe us they’re going to be a lot of women going.” Viggo reassured her. That made her feel better about the situation. She then nodded and continued to chat and watch filming. It truly was history in the making with the movie and she wasn’t going to miss it for the world.

Dom knocked on her bedroom door early the next morning.

“Are you decent?” he asked.

Maddie glanced back and told him he could come in and he did. Half of her things weren’t even unpacked. Dom and Billy were letting her stay at the house they shared and she was forever grateful.

“Are you ready?” Dom asked.

She threw her deodorant in the duffel bag and then did a mental count in her head.

“Yes I am, are they here?” she replied as she zipped up her bag and followed Dom down the stairs where Billy and Dom’s stuff were in the living room.

“No not yet, they should be here any second though.” Dom replied.

“Where’s Billy?” Maddie asked curiously glancing around the house for her new Scottish friend.

Billy’s head appeared from the other side of a newspaper that was in the air.

“Right here doll.” he said with a wink as he went back to reading the newspaper.

A series of honking coming from outside making the trio jump.

“Come on let’s go, you got the keys Bill?” Dom asked Billy who nodded and grabbed the keys from the coffee table in the living room.

They grabbed their bags and Billy locked the house. He followed Dom and Maddie out to the caravans that were barricading the street. There were 5 on the street full of the cast and crew of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The trio climbed into the nearest caravan and found themselves facing Orlando and his girlfriend Kate Bosworth, Elijah, Andy Serkis and Sean Bean.

“Come on let’s go.” Elijah yelled as the party of caravans started up and sped up and down the streets of Wellington. It would take an hour in the state highway to their location.

“Is there anyone else we need to pick up?” Dom asked.

“No you’re the last ones.” Sean Bean replied starting up a conversation with Dom and Billy while Elijah turned his head and glanced over at Maddie who was sitting next to him.

“It’ll be fun, you’ll have a great time.” he reassured her and she looked over and nodded.

“You’re right, it’ll be fun.” she replied as they continued to talk for the rest of the car trip.


Author's Note: I know not much in this chapter, but I promise it will be more entertaining next time.

Oh! She got to meet Billy! *giggle* I know she met everyone else too, but Billy is the one who makes me giggle. :wub: I think it's cute how everyone had already heard of Maddie because Dom talks about her so much!

But, that beginning was evil! I can't believe she lied and said she was just joking. She is in love with you, Dom! She is!!!!

Last night, I fell down 2 flights of stairs, bruised my ankle and hit my head on the wall where a bump now lies, plus I spent most of the night crying with my mom over everything. But overall the night was successful because I'm feeling better well except for the ankle that hurts like a s.o.b. when I walk on it lol.

Chapter 5

Maddie glanced around at everyone in the van with her and she sighed quietly to herself not sure of what to do or what to say. Everyone was having their own conversations and she felt a bit left out.

Andy nudged Elijah in the ribs and then pointed to Maddie who was sitting in between him and Dom, who was still talking to Billy about something.

“Talk to her. Smeagol says too or steals the preciousssss.” Andy hissed in his Gollum voice making Elijah snicker and roll his eyes.

“Master says shut up Smeagol.” Lij added in with a smirk.

Andy rolled his eyes and tapped Maddie on the shoulder and then whipped his head around so he could talk to Sean Bean. Maddie turned around and saw Elijah giving Andy a glare and smiled back at Maddie. She only raised an eyebrow in response.

“Are you alright Mr. Frodo?” she teased.

“Oh ha ha yeah I’m fine. And yourself?” he asked.

“Fine I suppose so were you the one who tapped me on the shoulder or was it dumbass Merry over there?” she asked pointing her thumb at Dom who was talking to Billy.

Elijah pointed to Dom and she raised both eyebrows this time. She then leaned over and smacked the side of Dom’s head making him yelp in response. Billy and Elijah cracked up laughing as Orlando and Kate glanced in the front from the driver and passenger seats.

“What’s going on?” Orlando asked.

“I got smacked in the head for no reason.” Dom replied whining loudly.

Everyone groaned and told Dom to shut up and he pouted more.

“I swear this is Dom Abuse.” Dom complained, but ended up dodging coke cans and beer cans that were being thrown at him.

“Dom Abuse my arse.” Maddie retorted slapping hands with Elijah and Billy.

Dom only pouted more as he glanced out through the windows.

“Hey ORLI! Turn up the radio elf boy!” Sean yelled from the backseat.

“Hey SEAN! Ask more nicely and you might get your request!” Orlando yelled back.

“You two quit it now.” Dom said trying to be the peacemaker, but instead Sean threw an empty beer can at him and Orli threw his water bottle which was empty behind the seat. It missed Dom, but Maddie picked it up and hit Dom in the head with it making everyone laugh ever more.

“Okay picking on Dom isn't fun anymore you bloody wankers!" Dom yelled while pouting some more.

Kate took the chance to change the radio station to a popular radio station and a remake of the song “Can’t Help Falling In Love” came on.

Maddie and Kate both squealed at the same time and then looked at one another.

“You like this song?” Kate asked nicely and Maddie nodded in response.

“Yes I do, but personally I like Elvis’ version better.” Maddie replied.

Kate agreed and the two girls started up a conversation making Orlando and Dom smile. Maddie was nervous that she wouldn’t get along with any of the guys.

“What’s the difference?” Elijah asked as the song continued to play.

“Just listen.” Maddie replied and Elijah perked his ears up so he could hear to the song.

“That’s a rip off. Elvis did a better job than who ever did this crappy remake.” Dom retorted ater the song was over.

“And I agree with you Dom, but still this group who are called the A*Teens did an okay job. It got on the Lilo and Stitch soundtrack.” Maddie explained.

“Lilo and Stitch? That Disney movie about a girl and a weird looking animal thing?” Orlando asked and both girls nodded.

“Yes hun. Now drop it all of you, it’s a good song and Maddie and I will win no matter how much you fight because girls kick ass and guys suck ass.” Kate replied and Maddie burst out laughing while the others yelled out comments.

“Just drive.” Kate told her mumbling boyfriend as he continued to drive towards the Bridge Lodge where they would be camping.

Later that afternoon, Maddie, Kate, Christine (Sean A’s wife), Ali, Lyrik Daniels one of the makeup artists of the film and Viggo's serious girlfriend, Mackenzie Cooke watched the guys struggle to put up tents.

Maddie was talking to Lyrik and Mackenzie, who insisted everyone call her Mac when Kate nudged them and pointed towards the five guys yell at one another about how to put up the tents right.

“No Dom! You put that in the hole there!” Orlando exclaimed holding the side up as best as he could.

“Orli shut up, you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. I’m the one with the instructions!” Elijah retorted back kicking a rock at Orlando’s foot.

“Well smart ass, what does the instructions say?” Orlando asked back sighing dramatically.

“You guys are completely pathetic; you can’t even put up your own tent. Now that’s fucking hilarious.” Viggo Mortensen commented with a laugh.

Everyone around them burst out laughing as the others rolled their eyes. Lyrik pulled all of the girls’ hands up and then grinned evilly.

“Okay let’s show the guys how to build a REAL tent.” she said and the others nodded and snickered. They went over to the five guys and pushed them aside.

“We’ll show you how to build a tent boys.” Mackenzie said full of laughter as the girls continued to build the tent and place it on the poles all within two minutes.

Dom, Billy, Elijah, Orlando and Andy all looked at them in shock as the other cast and crew members roared in laughter.

“I can’t believe this.” Elijah muttered making them laugh even more.

“You guys are wimps.” Sean Bean said with hysterical laughter.

“Is anyone going to help us out??!?” Billy asked and they all just continued to laugh including the girls. The girls just shrugged as the five guys glanced at them and they giggled as they walked away to start a campfire.

Later that evening, everyone sat around the big bonfire and making s mores. They were laughing and joking when Lyrik pulled Maddie, Kate, Christine and Mackenzie away from the men and led them to one of the tents and they all went inside.

"What are we doing here?" Mac whined wanting to get back to Viggo...and his soft lips.

"1) To seperate yours and Viggo's tongues and 2) this is time for us girls to bond. We're all alone in this world...er rather campsite and we all need to stick together." Lyrik replied with a laugh.

"Cheers to that." Maddie said as they all raised their water bottles and took a drink.

"So Maddie, if you could shag anyone...who would it be?" Mac asked Maddie, a few minutes later.

Maddie snorted, "Not answering the question." and dodged marshmellows being thrown at her.

"You chicken!" Kate said with a giggle and Maddie laughed.

"Fine...Billy." she said with a laugh and all the girls cheered.

"Billy is extremely handsome." Lyrik agreed and all the girls grinned evilly.

"Lyrik and Billy sitting in a tree. F-U-C-K-I-N-G, first comes love and then comes marriage and then comes Billy with a baby carriage." All the girls minus Lyrik belted out singing and she then laughed.

"Oh. My. God. You all scare me. And whats with the different spelling? Isn't it kissing?" Lyrik said with a laugh.

"It's the new updated version, plus shagging has eight letters ana having sex is nine letters, so fucking fits right in." Maddie replied and realized how wrong it sounded after the girls busted out laughing.

"Once again you all scare me." Lyrik said.

"But Lyrik I looooooooooooooooove you." Mac sang with a laugh and the girls cheered and then two shadows appeared outside the tent and banged on it.

"What in the hell is going on?" Billy's voice rang out and all the girls laughed.

"What did I do?" Billy asked and the other one shrugged.

"Who knows. Women." Dom replied.

"Dominic Bernard Patrick Luke Monaghan, would you like me to remind you what a water bottle to your fat head feels like?" Maddie asked loudly and the girls laughed.

"NO!" Dom yelled and Billy pulled away sharply with a growl.

"That was me ear, ye idiot!" he said loudly.

"Someone can kiss it for you Billy!" Maddie yelled and Lyrik glared at her.

"Anyone, but Dom please...DOM!" Billy shrieked and then ran into the tent with the girls startling all of them as Dom tripped over Kate and fell onto Maddie's lap. Maddie yelped as his weight was on her legs and she looked at Dom who was glancing up at her.

"Dom? You okay?" Maddie asked softly and then Dom shook his head, jumped out of her lap and ran back outside.

"What was that about?" she asked Billy who only shrugged and went after him. Everyone turned their heads to Lyrik who was grinning like a fool.

"You kissed him didn't you?" Mac asked and Lyrik glanced away and nodded.

"Yeah...it was on the cheek...but still he's soooo hot and smelt so damn good! I wanted to jump on him and shag him right here and now!" Lyrik exclaimed and the girls laughed.

"Well I guess we should get out there." Mac said as they all stood up and brushed off their pants/jeans.

"You both just wanna make-out with your boyfriends. Go, us single girls have more fun." Maddie said with a laugh as Kate and Mac ran out of the tent to their men.

Maddie started to walk out of the tent when Lyrik grabbed her arm.

"What's going on with you and Dom?" Lyrik asked and Maddie rose an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?"

"I know what goes on around the set Maddie and I do overhear conversations. Dom likes you, it's really obvious." Lyrik said.

"Well I should hope so, we're best mates. He means a lot to me." Maddie replied with a small laugh.

Lyrik gave her a duh look, "Maddie Collins, do not tell me you don't see that Dom loves you. He can't stop talking about you. And look what happened when he fell on your lap."

"Look Lyrik, I appreciate your opinions, I do, but Dom and I dating? As much as I adore him, I don't see us ever being serious. Besides I'm starting to like Lij." Maddie replied.

"Lij? As in Elijah Wood aka Frodo? When did this all happen?"

"I just met him yesterday, but I felt something there. He hugged me and it was like...I don't know, it's complicated."

"Magic?"

"I hope not. I just got out of a shitty relationship. I don't need this right now. I came down here to see Dom, have fun and meet new people. I don't expect to find Mr. Right here." Maddie replied.

"Alright, alright. I'm sorry you had a shitty past with a man, but that doesn't mean it will happen again. Remember that, Dom would not hurt a fly, let alone you. Besides we'd all kick his ass if he did." Lyrik said with a smile as she left the tent with Maddie thinking about their conversation.

"I got to pee." Mac announced half an hour later.

"Thanks for sharing darling." Viggo said with a laugh.

"I gotta go too, come on girls." Lyrik said pulling Kate away from Orlando and Maddie who had been quiet sitting in between Elijah and Dom.

“Hey who has the map?” Maddie asked and everyone looked around.

Dom held it up and Maddie snatched it from his hand and then patted his head like a dog.

“Good Dom anyways…wait okay here it is. Mac get a flashlight please” Maddie replied and Mac saluted to her sarcastically as she grabbed the nearest flashlight.

"Sure go ahead and use it, I won't need it." Billy said sarcastically.

"Okay we will you sexy Scotsman." Lyrik replied laughing and winking

Billy laughed and winked back.

“Why don’t you ladies just use the grass?” Dom asked curiously.

The four girls just looked at Dom with raised eyebrows.

“You’re crazy Dom, you really are. Plus what would we use to wipe?” Maddie asked.

“Leaves.” Dom replied and Lyrik leaned over to smack his head lightly.

“Yeah right let’s go before I piss all over Merry here.” Lyrik commented as Dom yelped and pushed her away making the girls laugh.

Mac, Lyrik, Maddie and Kate as they went down the hill and they followed the trail.

“Are you sure we’re going the right way Maddie?” Kate asked looking around.

“It’s what the map says.” Maddie replied.

“Well let’s just hope this restroom has freaking toilet paper” Mac said as they soon found their way over to a restroom area.

They all went in there and did their business.

“Hey I don’t have toilet paper! Shit!” Lyrik retorted and then Maddie threw the roll over to her stall.

"Throw it over here too!" Mac yelled and Lyrik threw it over and they heard a "Ow!" from Mac.

“Here watch your head.” Maddie said as she threw it over a stall. Lyrik caught it and later the girls walked outside feeling better.

“Now which way is back to the campsite?” Kate asked and the girls looked at one another with wide eyes.

“Oh shit...doesn’t anyone remember where we came from?” Maddie asked and no one said a word.

“Um I think it was that way.” Mac said pointing towards the woods and trees. They all nodded as they went back on to the trail and wasn’t aware that they were being followed.

The girls continued to walk and then four dark figures jumped in front of them and yelled “BOO!!”

Mac, Lyrik, Kate and Maddie all screamed and grabbed on to one another. The four figures started laughing and the girls stopped.

“If you are Dom, Billy, Elijah and Orlando, you better run because we are going to kick your arses!” Maddie exclaimed at them.

They continued laughing until all four girls snuck up on them and kicked one male. They all howled in pain and the sheet fell off revealing all four men holding various parts of their legs and feet.

The four males glanced at one another and then ran off while the girls chuckled as they made their way back to the campsite.

ahahaha! I love their camping trip! Everyone gets all violent on poor Dommie, though. I bet he has a headache after all that slapping and having objects thrown at him! :laugh: Though, I think it's very sweet the way he ran away after his head fell on Maddie's lap. But, she's liking Lij? I...I thought she had feelings for Dom. *lip trembles*

And, I love Lyrik and Mac! They are so funny! How cute when Lyrik kissed Billy on the cheek. squee! :wub: Oh, and so typical of guys, when they tried to scare the girls in the forest. I think all camping trips must have that at least once. :yes:

The introductions were nice and smooth, which is beautiful. And the frequent girl outings were definitely necesary.

Have I ever told you how much I hate camping? I don't mind the bathrooms, but no matter what you do, there's a stuck or rock on your back when you're sleeping and the smoke from the campfire is irritating... almost everything.

Although, I do enjoy a few hundred s'mores. :yum:

Chapter 6

Maddie sat in the hobbits’ trailer during a scene a couple days later as Dom and Billy filmed more scenes with an invisible Treebeard. Viggo, Orlando and John were in Rohan while Elijah and Sean were with Andy Serkis filming the Black Gate of Mordor scenes.

She sighed as she grabbed Elijah’s CD case that was lying on the table and she decided to glance through it.

“He sure likes rock music a lot. she muttered to herself as she saw all of the Smashing Pumpkins and Zwan CD’s.

She kept looking and her eyebrows rose as she found the Moulin Rouge soundtrack. She took it out and placed it into the CD player and then turned on Rhythm of the Night.

Lyrik and Mac both walked in and glanced around the trailer to find Maddie.

“Maddieeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Where are youuuuuuuuuuuuu?” Mac yelled rather sang offkey and Maddie waved her hand from the ground next to the CD player.

Lyrik walked over to her confused.

“What the bloody hell are you doing down there?” Lyrik asked.

“Tying my shoes, is that alright with you Mummy dearest?” Maddie retorted and Lyrik only rolled her eyes with Mac laughed from the chair that belonged to Sean which was next to Elijah’s.

Maddie sat in Elijah’s chair and sighed while Lyrik pulled another chair from the back and sat it next to them.

"You sure you want that chair?" Maddie asked Lyrik who glanced at her confused.

"Yeah it's just a chair. Why?"

Maddie giggled, "Because that's Dom's chair. That one is Billy's." she replied pointing to the only chair that hadn't been moved. Lyrik glanced at it, then jumped up from Dom's chair, placed it where she found it and grabbed Billy's chair and sat in it.

"Stalker." Mac said while coughing and Maddie laughed.

"Am not." Lyrik argued.

"Are too." Mac argued back.

"Am not."

"Are too."

"Not."

"Are."

"Okay children stop now. Do I need to seperate you two?" Maddie interrupted them. Lyrik and Mac looked at one another and only giggled. Then the door opened and Dom and Billy burst into the trailer scaring the crap out of all three girls.

They were dressed as Merry and Pippin and Dom turned around to close the door when the girls took a look at both of them and busted out laughing. Dom and Billy turned and looked at one another with a raised eyebrow.

“What did we do?” they asked one another and the girls continued to laugh.

“Seriously what is so funny?” Dom asked.

Maddie both pointed to their backs as they continued to snicker and giggle. Billy pushed Dom around and took a note on the back of his jacket off.

"Hi me name is Dom and I love men." Billy read aloud and Maddie busted up laughing as Dom snatched the paper from Billy's hand.

"I do NOT love men, I only love Billy Boyd!" Dom commented and Billy's eyes went wide and then he turned around.

"Is there one on me too?" he asked and Dom nodded while taking it off his back and reading it.

"Hi I'm Billy, I have a funny accent and I smell funny." Dom read and the girls continued to giggle.

"I smell like roses thank you very much." Billy said wadding up both the notes and throwing them away.

"Okay which one of you did this?" Dom asked and the girls continued to giggle. Lyrik and Mac slowly raised their hands in confession as they continued to laugh.

“Sure ya do Billy and I'm in the Pope, where is everyone else?” Maddie asked when she was recovered from laughing.

Dom gave her a silly grin.

“Filming, Elwood and Sean are done though…I don’t know about the others.” Dom replied and Maddie nodded while blushing.

Lyrik noticed she was blushing and got prepared to stick up for her friend for the teasing.

“Why are you blushing Maddie?” Dom asked.

Maddie gave him a glare in response and shrugged.

“Am I blushing?” she asked the girls and they nodded.

“It’s okay though, hey do you like Elijah by any chance?” Mac whispered to her and Maddie shrugged, but slightly nodded her head.

“Who likes Elijah?” Billy asked and Mac gave him a glare.

“You do.” Mac replied and Billy frowned while Dom snickered.

“Gross, I’m not gay ye know.” Billy commented.

Lyrik and Mac only rolled their eyes and gave Maddie a sympathetic look.

“You know what Bill? They stuck notes on the back of our jackets and then just called you gay…I think she needs to be taught a lesson.” Dom said giving the girls an evil look.

Lyrik only rolled her eyes and gave them a look.

“Like I’m scared of you Dommie.” she replied sweetly calling Dom the nickname he hated. Dom gasped in mock shock and he and Billy looked at one another and nodded.

Before Lyrik and Mac could do anything, they both grabbed their arms and dragged them out of the trailer. Lyrik actually screamed and yelled in protest as she did her best to loosen Dom's grip on her.

“MADDIE! HELP US!!!” they yelled and Maddie only shrugged in response with a small smile.

“Sorry girls, you’re on your own. Even I know not to mess with those two” she replied and both glared at her.

“You're gonna get it!” Lyrik yelled as they disappeared from Maddie’s sight.

Maddie only laughed as the trailer door reopened and Elijah who was dressed as Frodo Baggins walked in and then gave her a grin.

“Hi Maddie.” Elijah said with a smile.

Maddie glanced up from his chair and smiled back.

“Hey Lij.” she replied.

“You bored yet?" he asked with a laugh.

She shook her head in response as she got up from his chair and stood facing him at their full heights. Maddie was the same height as Elijah. She glanced at him and smiled at him, trying not to lose herself while glancing into his big blue eyes. No wonder he got so many girls, he was nice and has beautiful eyes.

He smiled back as he looked down and saw his CD case opened.

“I see you found my CD’s, do you like anything in there?” he asked curiously. She nodded.

“Yeah most of the things in there I have already, but I had no idea you liked Moulin Rouge.” she replied with a small laugh.

Elijah looked confused and tilted his head to the side.

“I had Moulin Rouge in there?” he asked confused.

Maddie only nodded as she looked at him directly trying to avoid his big blue eyes knowing she wouldn’t be able to stop looking at them.

He thought about that for a second and then laughed out loud.

“It’s my sister’s, I stole it from her when she stole my Zwan CD, but I got that back, but I haven’t been able to give it back to her yet." he said with a laugh.

"Sure it is. I bet you love musicals." she replied with a laugh

"Not really, but if I like something, I'll admit it." he said.

"My favorite is Phantom of the Opera. For some reason I really really love that musical. I would love to see it live or something. I hear they are making a movie." she confessed.

Elijah smiled, "I have never seen that, maybe we can see it when it comes out."

"It's a date." she said winking at him and he blushed as the last notes of ‘Diamond Dogs’ was blasting through the speakers and Maddie’s favorite song from Moulin Rouge was coming on.

“Do you like the Elephant Love Medley?” Maddie asked Elijah who shrugged.

“I know the words and everything from watching it with my sister so many times and I think it’s okay…why?” Elijah replied giving her a weird look.

“Do you mind if I sing the song?” Maddie asked and he shook his head no.

“No, go ahead, I bet you have a pretty voice.” he said as he leaned over and turned the song on.

"All you need is love,"

"Please don't start that again."

Elijah laughed and decided to join in showing off his singing skills.

"All you need is love," he began to sing Ewan McGregor’s part making Maddie raise an eyebrow.

"A girl has got to eat."

"All you need is love,"

"Or she'll end up on the street."

"All you need is loooove," Elijah belted out a bit offkey and Maddie grinned.

"Love is just a game." she sang just like Nicole Kidman making Elijah gulp, but recovering in time.

"I was meant for loving you baby, you were meant for loving me," he sang with a smile

"The only way of loving me baby is to pay a lovely fee," she said rolling her eyes while rubbing her fingers together like she would if she had money

Putting his hand to his heart, then extending it to Maddie, Elijah sang out, "Just one night, give me just one night,"

"There's no way, cause you can't pay," Maddie sang, pushing it away.

"In the name of love, one night in the name of love,"

"You crazy fool, I won't give into you," she sang, grinning at him.

Elijah’s face fell, "Don't leave me this way. I can't survive without your sweet love. Oh baby, don't leave me this way."

The music soared, and she interjected with, "You'd think people would have had enough of silly love songs,"

"I look around and I see it isn't so," Lij winked at her.

"Some people want to fill the world with silly love songs," she sang softly

"Well what's wrong with that, I'd like to know," Elijah sang, getting ready for the gear up.

"Cause here I go again…. Love lift us up where we belong. Where the eagles fly on a mountain high," With that he took Maddie’s hand and raised it. She squeezed it. This was strange, but fun.

"Love makes us act like we are fools," Maddie sang, taking her hand from his.

"Throw our lives away for one happy day," she finished the line.

"We could be heros, just for one day," Elijah sang out.

"You, you will be mean," She kept going on with the song, acting the part.

"No, I won't,"

"And I…I'll drink all the time." Maddie finished.

"We should be lovers," Elijah sang out.

"We can't do that." she said, still staying in character.

"We should be lovers, and that's a fact." Elijah kept singing keeping eye contact with Maddie the whole time smiling.

Maddie getting out of character for a second grinned shyly and said “Okay!” making Lij laugh.

She then continued on trying not to blush, "Though nothing, will keep us together,"

"We could steal time," Lij continued on

"Just for one day," they sang together.

"We could be heroes, forever and ever," Elijah and Maddie got into it giving it their all.

"We could be heroes, forever and ever, we could be heroes," they sang in perfect song and harmony.

"Just because I…" Elijah was singing

"Will always love you…" he belted out letting it all go as he continued to hold her hands in his.

"I…." Maddie was hitting the high notes, and Elijah grinned at her, nodding his approval.

"Can't help loving…" They sang together as they continued to get closer to one another.

“How wonderful life is” she sang softly as their bodies were against one another and they glazed into each other’s eyes.

“Now you're in the world!” they both sang together ending the song.

They smiled at one another and then hugged one another.

“Come What May” came blasting from the stereo and the two didn’t even notice the others standing the doorway of the trailer.

Billy, Lyrik, Mac, Dom, Orlando and Viggo all looked at one another.

“Do they like one another?” Orlando asked and everyone shrugged.

Back in the trailer, Elijah and Maddie pulled away from each other. He smiled at her and then pulled a strand of brown hair out from in front of her face.

“Would you like to go out with me this evening?” Elijah asked her softly and Maddie looked at him and smiled huge in response.

"I would love to Mr. Frodo.” she replied with a laugh.

Elijah giggled as they left the hobbits and Ian McKellen’s trailer hand in hand not hearing the comments being made by their friends.

“Aww look at them, they look so cute together” Mac gushed as Viggo's arm wrapped around her waist and the others agreed. Well one didn’t.

Dom looked at his two friends and frowned. He couldn’t tell anyone that he was in love with Maddie. He just shook his head not wanting to see his two friends all over one another and stormed off towards Viggo and Orlando’s trailer.

Billy and Lyrik looked at one another and ran off to talk to Dom.


Author's Note: The drama is just beginning and I really doubt that Elijah would actually know the parts and lyrics to the Elephant Love Medley from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack. It'd be funny if he did lol. I give the guy props if he does. But it is my story and I can do whatever I want in it muwhahaha! :devil:

I freaking loooooooooooooooove that song!!! That would be soooo awesome if he knew it. ^_^

I thought that was a really cute way to show their feelings, and express it to their friends and give Lij-baby a venue for asking her out.

That chapter was hilarious and oh so cute! I heart Maddie and Lij to pieces, although I am worried about Dom's reaction. *bites nails*

This part also made me scream with laughter. It was such a funny/silly thing to do, and similar to things I have done. I love Dom's comeback to his sign. This is brilliance!

Elijah is so sweet! But, I'm still all worried for Dom. I Love this story!

Sammi-If Lij did know the lyrics to that, I would die laughing. But it would be cool, I love the song too. Glad you liked it, yeah poor Dommie. I do feel bad for Dom because he's one cool guy. I would do anything for those guys ;) :hug:

Amber-I'm sooo pleased you liked those parts, I wasn't sure if you would or not. I've played those pranks before and they were and still are quite funny. We would get slong in real life muwhahaha :devil: :hug:

Chapter 7

"DOM!" Lyrik yelled at her new friend that was running away from her and Billy, who were struggling to keep up with a fast Dom.

"Dom! Get back here ye idiot!" Billy added as they finally caught up with him. They both grabbed Dom's arms and Dom growled as he tried to get out of their grasps.

"What?!?!" Dom growled and both Lyrik and Billy let go of his arms scared.

"Dom are you okay?" asked curiously.

Dom snorted out loud as he looked at both of his friends like they were crazy.

"No offense, but does it look like I am okay!" he snapped.

Lyrik and Billy looked at one another, not sure of what to say or what to do. Something was wrong with Dom. But what exactly was it?

"Dom mate seriously what is wrong?" Billy asked with a sigh.

Dom only looked at them and sighed out loud as he shook his head no.

"You wouldn't understand." he replied.

"What wouldn't we understand?" Lyrik and Billy asked at the same time making all of them look at one another.

"I can't tell you alright! I'm sorry, but it's not the right time for anyone to know." Dom said.

"But if it's going to make you all bitter and mean, then you need to tell us. Does this by any chance have anything to do with Maddie going out with Elijah is it?" Lyrik asked making both Billy and Dom look at her.

"Yes it does, but it doesn't matter anymore what I think. She didn't even come and ask me or anything. It's like my opinion doesn't bloody matter!" Dom replied with a growl.

"Hold up Dom. Now you're being unfair, Maddie is an adult the last time I checked and I believe she is free to date whoever she wants to and the last time I checked, you were her friend, not her father So don't start now!" Lyrik exclaimed defending her good friend.

Dom glanced at her and sighed again.

"I just don't want to lose her guys." he confessed softly.

Lyrik sighed also and placed her hands on both of Dom's arms and squeezed them gently.

"Look at me Dom." she said and Dom slowly leaned his head up and looked at her.

"Youre not going to lose Maddie; she is your friend and would never do that to you. You should know that more than anyone else around here, just because she's spending the evening with your friend and co-star doesn't mean she's going to drop everything and everyone around her, including you and spend every moment she can with Elijah. She and Elijah are not like that, you need to give them a break." Lyrik said.

Dom was silent for a few minutes and then let out a huge sigh blowing his bangs from his eyes.

"Thank you, I really needed that Lyrik." Dom said with a small smile as he gave her a small hug. She smiled and hugged him back just as gentle.

"Besides it's not she's even marrying the guy! Give her a break and I know you like her Dom, but you can be her friend still and be supportive of her and Elijah or you can be an asshole. Now the choice is up to you. We all know you'll do the right thing." she said with a smile.

Dom nodded and sighed as he looked at Billy who was glancing around Viggo and Orlando's trailer.

"I never knew Viggo had so many pictures of all of us." Billy muttered to himself as he turned around to face Dom and Lyrik

"Some Scotsman sure is nosy around here don't ye think Dom?" Lyrik asked teasing him because of his accent.

Billy gave her the middle finger as he rolled his green eyes in response.

"Oh shut yer mouth Lyrik Daniels!" Billy retorted.

Now it was her turn to roll her eyes.

"Oh clever William Boyd, did you come up with that one by yourself?" she retorted back. Billy just shook his head as he, Dom and Lyrik left the trailer and back to their friends.

Lyrik then grabbed Billy's arm and he swung around in shock.

"What are ye doing love?" he asked loudly.

"Do you know how much I want you Billy Boyd?" she said softly to him smiling evilly. Billy only laughed and then gave her a small smirk.

"Ye have no clue how much I want you too." he replied teasing her before going back to the group of hobbits, elves and humans leaving her standing there in shock.

"BILLY!" Lyrik exclaimed as the group just laughed and continued on with their day which mostly of filming and shooting scenes.

Later that evening, Maddie, Lyrik and Mac were in Maddie's room in her house that she shared with Dom and Billy. Mac had kicked the two hobbits out of the house threatening to cut off their balls with a knife if they didn't leave.

Elijah was going to be at the house in just a few minutes and Maddie was looking at herself in the mirror that was beside the closet.

The girls smiled and gave her thumbs up as she twirled around slowly in her outfit which was a red long sleeved shirt with blue jeans. She then put her white tennis shoes on and pulled at her medium length brown hair.

"HEY! Stop! It took me forever to get your thick hair through that damn straigntener and I'll be damned if you mess it up dammit!" Lyrik scolded as she leaned over and smacked Maddie's hands away.

Maddie only sighed and glanced back at Mac who was smirking trying not to laugh at Lyrik.

"Do I look okay?" Maddie asked nervously.

Lyrik and Mac came behind her and smoothed her shirt down across her small stomach.

"You look beautiful, pretty and all those good words. Elijah's going to drool now go downstairs! He'll be here any moment!" Mac exclaimed as Maddie nodded and made her way downstairs. She grabbed her bag and made sure everything was in there that she needed. She did a mental count in her head.

Lyrik and Mac then ran down the stairs and grabbed their things as she ran over to the door.

"Hey where are YOU both going?" Maddie asked.

Mac rolled her eyes in response as she opened the door.

"Leaving so you can be alone when lover boy gets here! Bye Maddie tell us everything tomorrow or even tonight if you want to. Just don't wake me up. I'm gonna try and get Billy in bed with me." Lyrik warned as she gave an innocent smile and blew Maddie a kiss as she closed the door and disappeared from Maddie's sight.

Maddie laughed as her cell phone rang, scaring her. She grabbed her bag and searched through it and retrieved her cell phone. It read Liz&Jamie on the Caller ID.

She smiled and picked it up.

"Hullo Lizzie or Jamie." she said into the phone as she flopped on the couch.

"Hullo love, how are you today?" her brother in law Jamie McKenzie asked her. Maddie smiled, knowing how sweet Jamie was. He was the only true gentleman she has found so far and her sister was lucky.

"Great thanks Jamie, how are you and Lizzie?" she asked.

"We're both doing just fine, thanks. We just wanted to know what was going in New Zealand, met any Kiwi's yet?" he asked curiously.

"I've met a couple, but I've been mostly hanging around the guys. In fact I have a date in a few minutes." she replied.

"Lucky you, hanging around with the Lord of the Rings cast. WHAT?!?! You actually have a date! Go Maddie! Here let me tell Lizzie." Jamie said with a smile as he motioned for his wife to come over to the phone and she did.

"Okay now I'm offended, thanks James. See if I get you anything for Christmas this year." Maddie retorted making both her sister and brother in law laugh over the phone.

"You know what he meant Maddie, so you have a date tonight eh? With who?" Elizabeth asked taking over the phone from her husband.

"Yes and I have a date with Elijah Wood Lizzie." Maddie replied as the doorbell rang letting her know that Elijah was there because hardly anyone rang the dumb doorbell. Dom and Billy both hated it.

Maddie made her way over to the door and then glanced at herself one last time in the mirror. She decided she looked fine and then sighed as she opened the door revealing her date for the evening across the door way.

Elijah stood there with his head up high and smiled at her making her blush. She blushed in embarrassment as she took his free hand and led him inside while rolling her eyes at the phone.

"What? You have a date with Elijah Wood? The actor Elijah Wood?" Elizabeth asked shocked.

Maddie sighed and sat next to Elijah on the couch. He gave her an understanding smile and kissed her cheek softly letting her know it was okay. She smiled back and winked at him before going back to the phone.

"Yes Lizzie, the actor Elijah Wood. Plays Frodo in Lord of the Rings, ya know that Elijah Wood!..No tell Jamie he is NOT gay. Sheesh, now he is at my side, can I please go and I'l l call you back later?" Maddie asked.

"Wait just hang on just a second here, what ever happened to that Dom guy?...okay Dominic Monaghan, thank you smartarse." Elizabeth said saying half of it to her husband.

Maddie laughed and then shook her head.

"There's nothing going on between me and Dom Monaghan Lizzie. We're just friends; I don't like him like that! Now if you excuse me, I have to go. Goodbye Lizzie and Jamie." Maddie said with a sigh as she hung up the phone and then turned it off.

She then glanced at her date that was looking at her with a smile on his face.

"Are they that shocked you're dating an actor?" Elijah asked with a laugh.

Maddie only rolled her eyes and threw her cell phone back into her bag.

"No it's not that Lij, they're just shocked that I'm dating someone at all. I'm sorry about that." Maddie replied.

"It's alright don't worry about it, now let's go have some fun." he said grabbing her hand and leading her outside to his car and their destination for the evening.

It was around one in the morning, the next morning when Maddie was awaked by the slamming of the door and Dom screaming at the top of his lungs, it was either singing or yelling.

Maddie jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to find Dom on the couch almost passed out. He was drunk and Maddie could only sigh. She hated it when Dom was drunk; he acted weird and was extremely overprotective and stubborn.

She went over to the couch and patted Dom's cheeks to get him up.

"Dom get up!" Maddie exclaimed in his ear making him jump up in the air in surprise.

"Maddie is that you?" he asked slurring his words and that made her curse. Every one of them knew that Dom had a wooden leg and it took a lot to get him this drunk.

"Yes it's me you idiot, I can't believe you got this drunk! Now come on, get your ass up and let's get you in your bed. Where is Billy?" Maddie asked.

"With Lyrik. She took him home...I think. But I also think...that...umm ahaha I forgot what I was gonna say. Oopziez." Dom slurred and laid back on the couch.

Maddie only shook her head and grabbed both of Dom's arms and dragged him up from the couch and tried to maneuver him up the stairs and she did within ten minutes.

She led Dom to his bed and sat him down. She leaned down and took off his shoes and socks and then pulling up his t-shirt and then unzipped his jeans and he took them off without her help.

"Go to bed Dom." she said with a sigh as she watched him lay back down in his bed and she pulled the blue covers and sheets over him.

"Maddie." he said with his voice hoarse softly as she turned around and looked at her best friend.

"What Dom?" she asked.

"Please don't see Elijah anymore. I love you Maddie Collins. It hurts so much that you went out with him tonight. I'm begging you Maddie please don't go out with Elwood anymore. I love you so much." Dom confessed.
