Curling at the edges
Your life is at an end

Petals fall away
Crushed pieces on the ground

Thorns prick unsuspecting hands,
Drawing blood and curses

But a prick is only the beginning
Hearts tear, every time a petal falls
Like ashes, Death comes to the rose
Lying in a pool of water
