Okay...so I'm not really new here, but I needed to post this...

Well, my name is Fiona, I'm 16 and live in Norther Virginia, right outside DC. Less than a mile away from my house is one of the most dangerous intersections in the entire country (it's somewhere in the top 5), and guess what that means? My parents won't let me drive. Oh well. Ummm...I have a bad habit of starting a story, getting really into it, getting distracted, then losing iterest. Because I hate outlining a story, my fics tend to go on forever. I have all these good ideas for starts, but never the entire story...oh well. I love classical music, especially from the Baroque era, mainly because it's just so logical, and (I know, I'm one of those obnoxious people to whom music is just instinctive) I can never understand how other people can't tell where the piece is going from listening to the chord progressions. I'm also obnoxiously obsessed with Celtic culture, and the only VLFNs (Very Long Fantasy Novels) I read are those set in Celtic-y time periods. Which is good, because that is a significant portion of them.

Okay, so I'm not one of those magically gifted music people... but I do get to drive!!! ^_^ That sucks that your parents won't let you though. Hopefully they'll get over that!!
I like the Celts!! I know like squat about them, but it's on my to-do list to find out more about them. Really. I'll probably be getting to that anyday now. And I love reading fantasy, but haven't started the whole VLFN thing, because once I pick up a book I never put it back down, so I'd probably become a hermit or something with VLFN. I'm not scheduled to become a hermit until I'm 50, because I've decided my life will officially be over then.

I'm Pat (DER) and er yes welcome welcome welcome. I love Celtic stories too, I reccomend you read Camelot's Honour and Camelot's Shadow! I just read them and was like OMG WOW. Also, not so much celtic...but the Raging Quiet is a good book set in Medieval times. :)

I LOVE classical music because I play violin and your avatar mad eme laugh so hard when I first saw it.
