The Glass Case and On-Lookers
Liberation is just a word
Those around her do not recognize she is human
She is unknown to herself and admired by others
Aubergine ribbons grace her curly hair
Her face, soft
Her eyes, they scream
But no one see's this pain
She is surrounded by people she does not know
She is on show and every thought compliments her beauty
Blessed, they say
But they do not really see; visuals speak
No one knows her and no one will ever know her
Liberation is a fantasy

My poems hardly ever rhyme. Heh.
Cool Steph!! I really liked it!! And that's saying a lot since I'm not much of a poetry buff!
I'm not really into rhyming poems either... besides Dr Seuss stuff of course.
I'm going to have to go look up Aubergine now... that's a pretty awesome word!!
Love ya,
Cat
Thank you! ^__^ It's one of the better one's I have written. And I love that word. Heh.
Oh thats really nice. And i like non-rhyming poetry, too. I write the same way. I dont think i've written more than 2 or 3 poems thats rhyme. Its over-rated. :P Heh. Anyways, I really like Liberation is a fantasy. Way to go! Keep writing!
