Description: PJ does it again!

I just wanted to highly compliment PJ's latest masterpiece, King Kong. This movie blew me away, you completely forget that you're in there for so long watching it and just get sucked into the story. The cinematography is breathtaking, the dialogue amusing, the emotions high, the tension builds, and the actors, oh man.

Adrien makes a fantastic Jack Driscoll that you can fall in love with, Naomi makes for a sweet Anne Darrow (her relating to King Kong in the movie said SO much with so few words, like the "beautiful" thing, aww *sniffles*), and yes, even Jack Black does a good job as the slimy director. I wanted to slap him so many times when he'd say "We'll finish this movie for this guy who died, and we'll give the profits to his wife and kids". And er...crud...the guy who plays Bruce Baxter, all I know is that he was the guy on Early Edition, but he made me laugh as the upstart movie star...the thing with the comb as a mustache was priceless. Oh, and Colin Hanks is a great loyal-yet-naive assistant, how I have missed him since Roswell. But guys, one of my favorite characters was Lumpy, the cook. It's because it's the role of our beloved Andy Serkis. I never would have known that he'd be such a great and funny actor! It's greatness. And altogether, I thought that the actors had wonderful chemistry with one another, it was believable that they were interacting in the way that they were.

My only two issues with the movie were that 1) there was an overload of slo-mo at the beginning, and 2) there was a smorgasbord of monsters. Too many creepy crawly things, haha.

But other than that, it's definitely a four star movie, if you haven't seen it yet, I would definitely recommend it! :shine:

I was still having the creeps in the week after I watched the film whenever someone mentions the bugs there. Just insane!

The film was a little slow but not unbearable and there are the classic PJ style angles. It's brilliant.

I liked it, but I cried the last two hours of it...ha ha, I don't know if I could watch it again because it was so wearing on my emotions. The cinematography is amazing though. The scene on top of the empire state building was beautiful with the planes and everything. Great movie.

All I have to say is I would kill for Naomi's legs. The end lol.
