Well here I guess I should say what kind of music they are, but I'm terrible with genres, so I don't really know...

Someone once told me they're Emo, so I guess I'll stick to that.

However, I can say they're very good and they have a different style, which I really like, seen as there's a lot of the same going on around there and a change is always nice.

MCR's Official Site
^^ just so you get an idea, because I don't think I'm very good at describing them! =P

Anyways, I hope to find more MCR fans around here!! *waits patiently*

I think they're generally classified as like goth-emo/horror-emo/dark-emo, etc.

Mostly I just stick with the genres Good and Not Good.

MCR fall into Good.

They're really amazing.

As much as I love my regular emo and stuff, it's a nice change of pace to hear Gerard's lyrics -- more dark and less obvious (for lack of a better word) than what you generally hear.

They put on an amazing live show. Very energetic, theatrical. I saw them in September -- their set had background made to look like stained glass windows, Gerard wore a priest's tunic, and they had shiney pink confetti during the encore.

Unfortunately I have no pictures from that event because I only had a crappy disposable camera, and I didn't stick around to meet them. I've heard they're real sweethearts, though.

Oh, and they did a cover of the David Bowie/Queen song 'Under Pressure' with The Used for charity. It's great.

Yay for rambling.

Yay for MCR! ^_^

etc.

I love My Chemical Romance! I'm not like a giant fan though, I only heard of them a few months ago and only really started liking them maybe a few weeks ago.

I agree though, everything about them is really unique and I like their music a lot. I'd love to see them live, I hope they come to Toronto sometime soon ^_^

Yay for MCR-love!

I'm pretty sure they're touring the UK right now...after that I am not sure...but I definitely URGE you to go see them if there's any possible chance. They are amazing.

I wish I'd got the chance to see them at a smaller place though, before they got so popular. I found out about them over a year ago, and they played around here a few times, but I never got a chance.

Oh well.

I cannot wait for the new album. I don't know when it's coming out, though.

I actually appeared on Mtv saying they kick ass. Twice. While I was in Switzerland, so I didn't see myself.

But people said I looked pretty [/shallow]

Anyways, I heard they were going to have shows at Mexico soon, so tcha. That's good for business. And there's rumors they may be coming but OHHH damn rumors, they always say SO much and mean SO little in the end... *sigh*

I'm happy enough I've got my U2 tickets right next to me :D
And I got to see The Strokes 2 months ago :D

And my forbidden obsession Robbie Williams is coming in like October *blush*

Anyways. MCR rule. Tcha.

I'm starting to sound a lot like Heidi. I need to stop...

:heartbeat: OMG I love MCR too! My favortie song is "I never told you what I do for a living" (hope that's the right title) it always reminds me of the story line that Gerard Way made.

Anywho I've never seen them on concert but I hope I get to.

bye bye

Aww, I'm sure you looked very pretty.
I think it'd be sweet to appear on MTV...though I barely ever watch it anymore. I have my FUSEtv with Steven's Untitled Rock Show.

I could definitely see them touring South America, and therefore most likely Buenos Aires, I would think.
Seen as though they're pretty much taking over the world these days.

"I Never Told You..." (that I'm lazy, hah) is an amazing song.

annnd I love your avvy. :) Apparently it is like hardcore or something to dislike the "directed" I'm Not Okay video, because there was an older one that was mostly just live stuff. But whatever. I have to watch it whenever it is on, and I giggle the whole way through.

In a semi-related topic, has anyone seen Breakfast Monkey?
It's a cartoon Gerard made, and was unfortunately not picked up by the Cartoon Network. It's possibly the cutest, most random thing ever. I have a mini-episode somewhere on my computer.
I wanted to buy a shirt with a picture of Breakfast Monkey on it, but I lost the link to that merch site. Which makes me sad.

HAHAHA
I love you.

And yes, that's a pretty cool song.
I'm over obsessed now by This Is The Best Day ever though, but that's just for the moment. Couple of days ago it was Honey, This Mirror... so..!

And yes, that is a v. cool avvy!
Ohh, they aired the old live footage I'm Not Ok video last night. I'd seen it on Tv before though. And it makes me laugh when Gerard's all sleepy at first. But tcha.

Still I LOVE the directed one. It's SOOO funnehhh!!

OHHH BREAKFAST MONKEY IS AMAZING!!!
There's a video on YouTube.com, lemme see if I have the link...
YES! Here.
Gerard Way's Breakfast Monkey

Very very funny. Everyone should watch that. And there's the Spanish speaking dulce de leche xD FUNNN.

Anyways, yeah, actually, I found out Gerard said they would be touring South America sometime soon, but I think that'd be after they release their next album. Dunno. Whatever. I don't mind WHEN, just them coming while I'm still alive is fine, hehehe.

OH, AND I'LL KILL ANY BANDS THAT COME PLAY HERE IN THE FIRST WEEKS OF SEPTEMBER.
Cause that's my graduation trip and I'm so not missing EITHER. *glares*

Oh, and about Mtv, it's pretty much all we've got here. Next to Much Music which I saw once a HIM thing on the same channel but in Russian or something like that. So I dunno. Still, none of them play the real good music I like so...
Well, except for the eventual MCR and very very strange Wicked Game on Much so... Tcha.

Been rambling around enough. Sorreh. Been UBER obsessed with MCR lately. Need to stoppp
