So I've been tossing around ideas for a new story because let's face it, All That Jazz is dead. I might revive it sometime in the future, but as far as I'm concerned right now, it's six feet under. And I'm still writing The Maze, but I want to write something lighter too. So this is what I came up with.

It's going to be a comedy. All of my stories have had some element of horror and suspense in them so far (especially After the Summer and The Maze) and I want to try something a little different.

I don't want to give too much away about the plot, but here's the main idea:

A woman visits a small town named Knight's Cove and ends up staying because she discovers something about her past. While she is there she meets a whole slew of odd, comical characters (that's where you guys come in).

So here are the parts I need to fill:

I'll try to give everyone the part they'd like, but if it comes down to it I may have to use my artistic license to move people around. Brief Past History: (remember, you live in a small town) She has a trust issue with people because she was hurt badly in the past by being too understanding and caring. So, now she always tries to prove herself.

Aspirations/Dreams: To be able to have relationships without second guessing the motives of the people who supposedly care for her. To be promoted in her job.

Likes: The color pink, shoes...it's all about the shoes! Wearing lots of jewelry. Cheezit crackers, Pez candy, strawberry margaritas, music by Madonna, Shakira, and Cher. Reading, photography, writing. Cats. People who are patient and listen. Musicals.

Personality: Maybe a bit shy, but on the inside strong and independent, and that comes to show in difficult situations. A trouble-solver, sort of speaking. Smart, witty and a bit of a wall-builder (as in, trying to block her emotions from the others). Still, funny and loyal as a friend.

Brief Past History: Hmm... She's escaping from a good decision of change that caused a bad reaction on the people around her. as in, she changed in a good way and everyone around here didn't like the new *her*, so... She went away and poof! little town here! Something like that would be nice...

Aspirations/Dreams: Just to be able to be herself freely without outsiders judgements.

Likes: Nature and animals (and the color green =P), she likes travelling but also loves her little corner in the world, drawing and painting, coffee...

Personality: very curious, and inquisitive, and mischeiveous. But a very optimistic and bubbly attitude most of the time. Outgoing, and up for practically anything which can cause trouble.

Brief Past History: (remember, you live in a small town) Grew up in a big family with two older brothers and one older sister. Mother and Father fought a lot, but loved each other. She always really guarded her privacy, but didn't care for the privacy of others and always liked hearing the details of other peoples lives. She grew up with moderate grades, except for her english marks which were always fairly high. She was more interested in her social life than academics.

Aspirations/Dreams: To have a gossip column in a prestigeous magazine.

Likes: Gossip, meeting new people, books, magazines, romance, strawberries and vanilla milkshakes.

Dislikes: Vegetables, mathematics, science, chocolate, boredom and being inside for long amounts of time.

Personality: The type of girl who is rather careless when it comes to the male gender. She's not going to flash a guy so that he'll notice her, but she doesn't not want a boyfriend. It's more that she likes to spend her time thinking about other things, that having a boy isn't the most important thing to her. That is most definitely her friends. And the best boy for her would have to be her friend, or else it wouldn't work out, because she'd be really shy and uncomfortable because of not knowing him. She is very tolerant, can take a lot of crap from people. She's the friend that, sometimes gets insulted a lot, and just takes it, and then is the shoulder they cry on. Also, she's very used to disappointment.
Brief Past History: Grew up in the church with her family. Due to larger family, is more reserved. 3 of 5, so has middle child syndrome. Married high school sweetheart right out of high school (she sort of felt pressured to settle down immediately like her mom), and now has 2 children. Kind of regrets never doing anything outside of high school.

You're welcome, I'm glad you like it!

It's really easy to put into your signature. Here's what you do:

1. Save the banner to your computer.
2. Go to a photo-hosting site. I prefer Photobucket, so I'll use that as an example. Register on the site by clicking "Sign Up Now". Fill in all the info that it asks for and it will send you an email with an activation link.
3. Once you are all registered you can sign in on the site and begin uploading.
4. You should see a screen that says "Add Pictures". Below that there is a button that says "Browse". Click on that button and it will pull up the "Choose File" screen.



5. Find the banner where you saved it on your computer. Double click it to choose it.



6. After you've chosen the correct picture, click on "Submit". It will then upload the banner into your photo album.
7. Once you've uploaded the picture, it should appear below. There are three things beneath the photo. THese are the different tags you can use to incorporate the pictures into posts. For message boards you want the one that says "Img" next to it. Select the text in the box and copy and paste it into your signature.



And then you're done...if this was at all confusing, I think there is a tutorial in the "Help" section of this site but I don't know where.
