Tis the season!
Yes, it’s that time of year again….let the visions of sugar plums dance in your head, and, perhaps, join in the fun by writing a Christmas short story!
Here is the challenge, should you choose to accept it:
1. Each short story should be a song fic, using the Christmas song of the author’s choice. (any holiday song will suffice, it can be a carol, hymn, or pop Christmas tune)
2. The story should have a word count of no more than 3500 words. You do not have to include the lyrics of the song in this count.
3. You must use each of the following five words/phrases, at least once, in the story:
Midnight
Mistletoe
Online friendship
Alone
Scary
Please make these five words in bold print when you submit your story.
4. The story may be any rating or genre, and include the Lad(s) of your choice.
5. The deadline for the entries is December 26th. You may PM your submission to Ambrosia.

By "Lad(s)" do you mean someone from LotR or can it be any actor(s)??

You can use the actor of your choice....it does not have to be a LOTR actor. :love:

I'm back......again. ^_^
So, after much consideration, I have decided to extend the deadline for the short story contest to December 26th. I know this is a busy time of year for everyone, and I am hoping this extension will give people some more free time between finals and Christmas to write their stories.
I urge all of you writers to participate. We have such talent on this site, and I would love to see it showcased! So, pretty please, just give it a try. :love:
