Just to let you know that Elijah is scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Wednesday, October 5. It airs on NBC at 11:30pm Eastern Time.

He is supposed to be promoting Everything is Illuminated. ^_^

It was so good! I hope some of you got to see it. Elijah talked about being in Venice, Paria and NYC all in one 24 hour period. He also mentioned a trip to Chicago where he went dancing at the Green Mill. He spoke about his house in L.A. and how he has a washer and dryer and does his own laundry on the weekends and actually really enjoys it! He tries to make a point to do laundry every weekend and puts on a CD or DVD and finds it really relaxing. Jay Leno quipped, "and you are 75 years old now?" Elijah laughed. He apparently still has unpacked boxes in his house even though he has been there for a year now, and had a bad experience with accidentally ordering sea urchin at a sushi restaurant when he was 16 and on a date with his then girlfriend.

Anyway, it was an enjoyable little interview. Hopefully someone will make a transcript of it or put it on the web.
