Title: Asking Questions

mortalitaslamia - September 29, 2005 04:57 PM (GMT)
Okay... so i've never posted anything before, and i kind of came up with this at lunch about my friend getting mad at me for something i don't really want to get into it.

It is repetative i know but i don't know how else to write it so if you like it please reply, if you don't please give me positive feedback. Thanks so much.

How do you tell some one the details?
How do you give them your trust?
How do you tell a friend your leaving?
How do you say your not going to graduate with them?
How can you tell them your sorry,
And that I meant to call in person

Why should I be forgiven for my lies
Why should you care
Why is this path right for me?
Why is it not?
Why can’t you see beyond
And know that I’m happy

I hate it when you’re not talking to me
I hate that this hurts you
I hate it when you say your fine, when we both know the truth
I hate it when you snap at me, when I don’t know what I’ve done wrong
I hate it that I can’t hate you, or any of your flaws
And when night comes you’ll know I’m gone... and yet I'll always be there

I wish…
For things to be the same
That this change never comes
You could see why I’m doing this
You could understand
And that our friendship remains the same

So there it is ... yeah thanks for reading it

Wow! That was really good! I don't know what's going on in your life personally but the poem hit me cause it made sense to a situation I'm in w/a friend of my own!

The White Angel walks the city streets
Fallen from the havens above
Forgotten from the living
She is the mist
The sunsets
The whispers in the wind

Her beautiful silk like dress gently plays with the northern winds
She walks the streets, unnoticeable
Her destination uncertain
She strategically makes her way through the crowds
Never disturbing anyone
It is as if she is a ghost

White angel walk beside me
I beg thee, stand near
Don’t leave me here
The living can not handle me
The dead don’t see me
White angel where am I to go?

She smiles childishly at me
And begins to laugh
This innocent laugh full of purity
Then she’s gone
I’m left here, in my on tears
In my own reality

so there it is, i hoped you liked it again, yah... Adieu

Hey girl, don't be insecure about your poems, because they are really good.
I prefer the first one, find it more direct, and t has a sort of "Alanis Morissette vibe" going through, which I'm pretty fond of.

The second has a good imagery about it, it is delicate and nice to read... they seem very different, and it's a good thing. xperimenting is always worth the while.

As a Moderator of this section, though, I must be the pain in the neck, sorry:
I understand poems are often a spur of the moment, but please, please, remember to put a copyright disclaimer when you post them!
Thank you, and, write more!
