I just wanted to see other peoples views. I really adored the film I thought it was fantastic. Keria was amazing and the relationship between Lizzy and Mr Darcey was fantastic. So there my views what about yours?

*having just gotten back from seeing it a second time* I have to admit; I adore it.

Of course, it could never replace the 6hr version in my heart *laughs* But it was good, and held true enough to the book and old version to satisfy me (and I'm a pretty big snob about these sort of things hehe)

I really liked how the characters just seemed less.... stuffy. It may have been a bit less book/historically accurate, but I love the people-ness (including Bingley's awkwardness and the father's reaction to Lizzy loving Darcy *sniffles*

So yes, I would recommend it; that's my two sense :D

(and, while you're at it, see Rent too :P and Newsies!! ;))

Let me just say that I loved Pride and Prejudice with my whole soul!!!!! It was one of the best movies I've seen all year, and I left feeling so beautifully romantic and sweet.

I adored Lizzy and Mr. Darcy's relationship, and I have the hugest crush on Mr. Darcy now! Not necessarily looks wise...just, the character himself is so likeable despite his many flaws! The slight snottiness, the arrogance...what can I say, I'm a sucker for Mr. Darcy.

It was so good....le sigh...I'm going see it again ASAP!

I know I'll get rocks thrown at me for this, but I thought Matthew Macfadyen actually portrayed Darcy better than Colin Firth. The movie was overall, amazing, and generally to the tune of the book while keeping within the restraints of a two hour movie. Every few minutes (especially towards the end), I was melting over and over and over again. It was pretty pathetic actually.
