Apparently Everything is Illuminated is having its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. The festival is running from September 8-17 and Elijah is supposed to be attending. I don't know which day his movie is being shown (I can't find the full schedule on the site yet, I think it will be up next week). If it was on a Saturday or Sunday, I might go (providing it isn't too expensive) since I only live about 45 minutes from Toronto. Other movies being shown are Elizabethtown and A History of Violence.

Wish I lived closer, so I could go. If you go, please let us know if you see him.

I unfortunately did not get to go as it conflicted with school (my friend went, but saw "Thank You For Smoking" on the 17th). However I did watch the local coverage religiously and taped some of the rushes and the Everything is Illuminated press conference...it was sooo good! So were the other press conferences for Elizabethtown, Corpse Bride and History of Violence (and some other movies). I have never really watched press conferences before, but these were live and unedited - which was really nice. Elijah was very entertaining in the press conference. Eugene Hutz was fantastic! I really cannot wait to see this movie, especially since I just finished the book. The book is good, very weird, but good. It starts so funny and ends with such emotion.

Why do I live in thsi stupid country were Elijah never comes so I can never see him or never get to hear a press conference *cries even harder now*
I would so love to see a press conference with him...even if it is only on television. That isn't asking much...not like I say I want a personal meeting *cries*
Bah life is unfair and I am very jealous of you.
To bad you couldn't got to the movies and pressconferences in person.
