Title: August Short Story Contest
Description: join the fun!

Ambrosia - August 4, 2005 08:41 PM (GMT)
Hello everyone! Your EWAC moderating team is proud to announce a Short Story Contest for the month of August. We encourage all of you writers out there to participate and share your talent with the board.

The rules for the contest are as follows:

1. You must use each of the following five words, at least once, in the story:
pink
apparition
boobs
pasta
wink

Please make these five words in bold print when you submit your story.

2. The story should have a word count of no more than 3200 words.

3. The story may be any rating or genre, and include the Lad(s) of your choice.

4. The deadline for the entries is September 1st. You may PM your submission to either Mena or Ambrosia.

5. Have fun!

~After September 1st, the entries will be posted without the author's name attached to them, to be fair, no one will know who authored which story. The stories will be up for members to view for approximately two weeks, as well as a poll for members to choose their favorite entry.

Good luck to everyone and happy writing!

This sounds like fun and i'm definitly going to give it a go but one question: my lad of choice, does it matter if he's in character or not?

I'm not really sure what you're asking. But, as long as you have some mention of one of the Lads, it should be fine.

What Jenny was asking is say your man is Hugh Jackman, is it ok for him to be in your story as Wolferine?

Ohh, I get it, now. Thanks, Anneka! ^_^

So, to answer the question better this time...yes, you can put your Lad either in his character, or just as a normal person. Either way is fine!

If anyone else has more questions, feel free to ask!
