I hate you for being so beautiful
perfect porcelaine boy
coal black contrast bright
you're the prettiest fucking doll
and what I wouldn't give
for you so see me
here on my bottom shelf
but you're too lovely and too untouchable
and I know I'll never see the cracks beneath the perfect paint.
if you'd only notice
I'd give you my heart
as it is, bruised and broken
but beating,
and I'd cut out the stitches
let the blood flow just to show you
myself open
but the truth is
I'm not even pretty on the inside.

Yeah, I know I've been pretty dead around here. ::sigh::
Gah... it was so angsty and beautiful! I have been missing your poems.
That was just so angsty and beautiful. Ok so I just echoed what Anna said but your poem really is. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, girls. Means a lot. :)
I'm in quite the mindset to be writing angsty poems, so...expect more sometime..lol..

That was really beautiful, I loved it. it was so dark yet so human. i don't know what else to say, it made sense to me, but i truly loved it.
