"I wanna be a part of B.A. Buenos Aires, Big Apple!"
Another Andrew Lloyd Webber film, the soundtrack to which my uncle let me borrow when I wouldn't hush about PotO a few weeks ago. And I love it! See it!
Bascially it's the story of the life of Eva Duartes Peron (sp?), wife of Peron, who was the *cough* President of Argentina in the 19...30s? 40s? 50s? I'd have to check... hmmm....
Starring Madonna (!) (as Eva), Antonio Banderas (Che) and some other guy not named on the Netflix thingy as Peron *shrugs*
Che friggin rocks, I love him! And all his looking at them like "Oh jeez *rolls eyes*..." If you see it, you'll know what I mean ;) ("Hey look! There's Che again!... and again... and there he is again... and.. again...hmmm...yay! Che!" hehe)
I have got to say that the Waltz for Eva and Che scene is by far my favorite, but *shrugs* such can be expected, especially from me ;)
(On another note, I made a pillowcase today *shrugs* "What a thrilling life [I] do lead..." hehe tchao!)
Eek! I can't believe I didn't see this thread until just now! I absolutely adore ALW's work (at least, what I've seen of it) esp. Evita ;) Of course, one just miiiiiight be able to gather that from my avatar, but you never know ;)2
Their waltz scene is just plain amazing, and I agree that Che is, well, he's hilarious. His looks; agh! :D I also just love "Oh What a Circus" and "Another Suitcase In Another Hall" and well *laughs* most of the songs. Isn't it hilarious how "The Lady's Got Potential" is like, practically a history lesson? *laughs* :)
Well, I just thought I'd drop in and let you know a bit of what I think of it :) bye now!
Hehe, yea, it is like a history lesson...
Ah, the "Che looks" where would Evita be without them? hehe
Love it; and I can tell you do too, love the avatar and sig by the way :)
tchao!
