I doubt it very little that most of you have heard of Lewis because of his Chronicles of Narnia series (That is, if you've heard of him at all), but might I recomend some of his other books?
Some Lewis that I've read, and recomend;
"A Grief Observed" (a sort of journal-like writing written after the death of his wife from illness)
"The Screwtape Letters" (a bit of a description here)
"Till We Have Faces; A Myth Retold" (the story of Cupid and Psyche, told from the viewpoint of Psyche's sister Orual) <- (I definately recomend this one)
And right now I'm reading "The Four Loves" which I'd recomend simply because it was recomended to me by a friend who's opinion I hold highly :)
They all have definate Christian undertones (so do the Narnia books actually), which is understandable given that Lewis was, well, Lewis. Still, they're amazing pieces of work and I'll dare to recomend them to non-Christians as well (;) his fictions are very very good).
ps. If anyone's looking for great books on relationships from a Christian perspective (with a lot more than the old "no sex till marriage" drivel) then I definatly recomend anything by Eric and Leslie Ludy. My descriptions of the books are here)
