I love GC!! I saw them in concert a couple of months ago on the Summer Jam Tour here in New Zealand in April. They rocked!! There were also about 6 other bands that came all of the being my favorite: Taxiride(Aussie Band), Zed(kiwi band), Blindspot(Kiwi band), Rubicon(I :love: Paul Ried, Kiwi Band), Nesian Mystik(another Kiwi band, they played last night here I didn't go it was a free concert though) and Carly Binding(Shes a kiwi singer. I hate her! She got pretty much boo ed of the stage. It was funny)

the other time we magically found another person who knew them, a boy friend, and he was like "what?!?!??! :eek: i can't believe u knew them!!" we were excited all morning talking about it...

the first time i ever saw them was like at beggining of the year, "life style's of the rich and the famouse" video... when the song ended i was like "what was their name?!?!?" and i found it like a month later...-_-

my favourite song is seasons or wondering... those songs rock and i just can't imagine them playing them!

I lvoe GC! They're coming to Chicago by my hometown in November! But im not sure im going to be able to go, because my parents dont want to have to drive that far... only another year and a half till i drive.... And how about that Billy.... Is he not the most adoable little thing?

I personally hate GC with a passion. They say they're punk. god they're changing punk into a fashion statement instead of being music that takes a stand against the government and other things like the industry. And how can you possibly be called punk when you get on Mtv. Sellouts I tell you. HAving dolls made after them and their merchandise everywhere, total sellouts. Thats the problem with "punk" bands today. They don't get a reaction out of anyone anymore. people don't care what "punk" bands are saying anymore and half the problem is that the new bands can't make a statement if their life depended upon it. What happened to good bands like the Sex Pistols. Their lyrics had sense to them. They got banned from countries. they caused the industry to be frightened.They disgusted people. That's punk, not the posers of today. GC isn't doing anything original. GC is just copying thousands of others and in turn those thousands are copying themselves and nothing new or fresh has come out in years. That's why John Lydon is the epitome of punk. He has originality. He tries new things and makes music that sounds original. Its about no rules. Thats why he did a song with a rapper, to break the barriers. NO RULES. And that song still made a statement. In conclusion, I do not like Good Charlotte, but yes Billy Martin is good looking.

I'm so glad that they aren't popular anymore. It was horrible to make the whole punk sub culture into a fashion. Thank god it's over now *sigh*

I liked Good Charlotte before The Chronicles of Life and Death was released. After that, all of the rabid fangirls, and the dolls and over merchandising I became disgusted with them, and I regret spending money to see them.
