I loved this movie so much.

The whole plot on him keeping the changes of reality from his mother was just sweet, but the way things develop, and the performances, and the way it's filmed, and the treatment of the topic of the fall of the Berlin wall...

It all complements everything and gives out a great movie.

At least I liked it a lot.

may I ask where you're from? I found it quite unusual to find a german film here.

and yes, I also loved it. I found it both incredibly hilarious and tragic at the same time. the directing, acting and everything was just utterly brilliant.
