I was first "exposed" to Nirvana when my ex boyfriend and his bestfriend wanted me to sing Smells Like Teen Spirit for them. (I was kicked out later because my voice didn't go anywhere NEAR low enough... surprise surprise. God, men suck) But then, I insisted on having a cd burnt from them, and fell in love with them and listened to nothing but them for a couple months.
I love Kurt Cobain. He is was VERY sexy. Seriously, he was a musical genius who was taken way too early. Because, honestly, the man came up with some VERY kickass music. *nods*

i can't name many of them by name, but if you hummed a few bars i could pick up on which one it is. most of my nirvana is downloaded, so i can't remember many titles.
i need to grab an album.
like most of my ltj is downloaded, but i have anthem.

I'm playing "smells like teen spirit" so my sister's friend grabs her cd player and turns on some awful pop music so I turn it up louder and she turns hers up so I turn mine up. And we've been carrying on like this.
She gave up before me... 'Dare to take on Louise with loud music?' Was my victory cry. Lol. ^_^ :bow:

What I love about Nirvana is how Kurt got his inspiration for the bands songs.

Kurt always insisted that it wasn't aimed at the media, but one line of the song is directed toward the Vanity Fair article and it's author, Lynn Hirschberg. 'My favorite inside source', Lynn claimed to have gotten the info that Courtney did heroin the whole time of her pregnance from 'an inside source'. The song itself is a song of justice (as Kurt put it), A guy rapes a girl, goes to prison, and is raped there.

I absolutely adore Nirvana.
So what does everyone think of Kurt's "suicide"?
I am just curious what everyone thinks, because I strongly believe that his death was planned by Courtney Love. If anyone is interested in this theory, I suggest reading
